I love how the news are making this sound 10000 times more crazier than it actually is.
😂 right
Some parts got it worse than others
Just because u didn't get the worse part of it doesn't mean others didn't.
😂😂😂😂
That's the way the news works for anywhere. It's the same thing when other bad things happen in California. The worst things are shown... making the state look bad. California is a great state with enormous amounts of beautiful things... and millions of very normal special people. We love living here.
Palm Springs/Indio have ALWAYS had awful drainage systems that will literally leave the city cut off from the freeways and until they fix their infrastructure this will only get worse.
Yeah. Even just light sprinkling for a day would flood some areas. There's no good drainage because the ground won't soak up much water
it’s like the hurricane never came 🤷 most of california didn’t look like the images here the news just blows things out of proportion
Im a so cal resident for around 27 years... i lived in salt lake for 12 years...
The rain aint that crazy and wind is not abnormal.... the abnormal part is the fact that it is warm while its happening and that its august.
Yea the winds aren't strong but it's knocking a lot of trees down . Is it because it's still summer the branches are weak?
@@JLocautoyee lots of dryer older branches instead of new growth during that time period
@waldolopez1927 we also have a lot of trees in the wrong soil... we don't have the soil for big trees here. Eucalyptus fall over year around here... one took out my uncles fence in May... not during a storm even.
Like pine trees ain't falling over where they grow naturally... it's when you bring in these trees not native that aren't made for the conditions.
nothing is abnormal. hurricane season's peak is August-September, when its hot out, which makes sense. la gets hit by a hurricane once every 100 years.. except this time, it wasnt even a hurricane.
what is abnormal is what has been built and re-planted in la... and thats why theres flooding under what should be normal levels of rain..
@@JLocauto you don't need huge wind gusts to knock down trees when the ground is overly saturated with water.
Is she running for office again? 😂
All deaths to be labeled suicide as per the BB
The hurricane is here to take her namesake away!😊
Hillary must be upset.
It was a tropical storm when it California, not a hurricane. How is it possible CBS even got that wrong?
Push the DOOM AND GLOOM for the democrats agenda.
To hype it up for more news coverage...
I'm waiting for CNN ground crews to do some acting 😂
Why do you think they still call it a hurricane instead will tropical storm? That's a rhetorical question no answer needed.
Grammar
Its a mega typhoon
Can you imagine rain and wind at the same time ?!
Yes I can😊
NO !!
it’s impossible
See it everytime here in Florida when a thunderstorm comes rolling by . Which can be almost everyday in the summer. LOL 😂
@@jackbean7195😂😂😂😂 and the point you’re missing is this never happens in California you retard 😂😂😂
That happens? Where?!
It came and COMPLETELY wiped out my basement that had all my servers and emails 😢
LOL 😂
Between Maui and now Hillary I’ll be expecting my home and car insurance to increase here in the Midwest.
Ohh, it will! Mine has gone up 30%on each of those. My insurance person also told me that some carriers are having a moratorium on taking on any new accounts! Nothing like limiting the pool to keep premiums high
Don't forget the fires in Washington state.
Still won’t be enough to wash the nasty out of that state.
What’s nasty is you cretins wishing calamity and devastation on people you disagree with politically.
IT’S NOT EVEN RAINING IN LA ANYMORE!!!! 🤬🤬
“Hilary is expected to keep pounding socal throughout the day…”
No. No its not. It stopped raining yesterday.
Not in LA..It rained all night
@@DesmondJohnson-og4oy bruh it rained until mayybe 3, what you mean
Ikr. My drive home this morning in LA was nice.
Still calling it a Hurricane lol 😂
Hillary is always full of hot air,
Heaviest rain fell in Nevada, eastern Oregon, and in Idaho.
All the areas noted typically flood during normal rainstorms. Nothing new here
Yup. I’m sick of this disaster crap. It rained.
So you complain when there is no water and we need the rain. Then when water comes every complains. 😅
RIP anyone in the pacific ocean that doesn't want to swim through LA, and San Francisco's needles and poop
Let me guess your from arizona?
Hillary flew over my house, and now I’m missing 30,000 emails!😂
Try going through a category 4 hurricane. The destruction is unbelievable
The truck driver miscalculated the flooded road. The water is moving faster than the driver thought.
He needs to be fired..I've driven on foggy mountains😬
San Diego was just fine, La Jolla, Del Mar , encintas and other cities, typical heavy rain most footage is from the east like Palm Springs and ventura north east
It wasn’t a hurricane when it hit
Good... I hope California captures, and puts that water to good use
It stopped raining already, this was nothing!
Yup.
Literally nothing.
I feel sorry for all the fish that has to deal with the filth the rain is bringing to there homes.
The rain probably cleaned a lot of places out. It flushed the toilet that is their town.
And the fish love it, it washes tons of good stuff to eat. Why do you think fish always gather at the inlet from a stream that runs into a lake. Dinner Time.
PS. As long as there's not any poison chemicals in the run off.
@@H43339 i always see tons of fish in the dirtest creeks and ditches.
That would apply to anywhere.
Thats just the morning bathroom break from the homeless camps
from San Diego only a potted plant fell. yes winds were a bit strong but overall ok. schools back to normal in San Diego
Well at least they have rain to help with the drought
We need to open up all of the resort hotels to the homeless and provide them each at least $50,000 cash to replace their property lost in the rain. This is the Climate Crisis!
If we're lucky much of California will be wiped clean.
We should just buy the drugs wholesale and give it to them directly instead of cash. They could save money.
@@vladtheinhaler8940you’re so edgy and cool bro 🤓
LOL 😂, what a good little democrat cheerleader that you are.
No it’s not
We need the water this rain is welcome.
Y'all some weather babys out there, live in Florida for a while.
You can’t really blame them though. Hurricanes don’t happen in California; infrastructure is not built for hurricanes, they’re built for earthquakes. If an earthquake hit Florida or any southern state, they wouldn’t know what to do either 🤷🏽♀️
We live through this everytime we get a good thunderstorm. LOL 😂
@@carolinap2764 Hi NOT SO BRIGHT, California isn't built for earthquakes. Hopefully you get another real big one and watch those bridges fall and building crumble. PS. and hurricane hasn't hit California since the 1800s. And a hurricane didn't hit California this weekend.
I burst out laughing at the title.
Hillary isn't very nice, is shenow?!
Just last year you said “it rained in Palm Springs for the first time in 100 years” ….
When the trees knock those powerlines down how do you evacuate in that tesla?
How deep of water can a tesla drive through?
Em some good ass questions Fr because now I wanna know too!
Well thought !!!!
Walk with your rainboots and carry your very expensive tesla!😂😂😊
You charge it before the storm hits. Same way as you'd stock up on food and batteries. Can you operate a gas pump without power?
So they got the disaster of newsom..and here comes hillary!!!.. perfect!!!
This shit was ass, over here in Rialto didn’t get anything. Just a regular ass rain
May be that's a video from last year they re posting as todays😂😂😊😊
I like the man attitude. ❤️ basically keep going no matter what . Pray for all
Your family and friends
Hilary didnt win during elections so she took it on cali. 😂
She should have won
Maybe she will be like the real Hillary and fizzle out before she gets to Washington.
@@frozenlama23And she was so sure of it too. That’s what makes it so great.
@@GMbowtie350 she had more votes therefore she should have won
@@GMbowtie350because she did win
They need the rain from all the fires that they have over the years
Honestly the earthquake wasn’t that bad… it originated less then a Mille from my house….
But I get what the news is saying but it was exaggerated a bit…
watching from North Texas
Word to the wise: Seek real news from those who live in So CA. I’m living south Los Angeles county and Sunday was peaceful and calm- at most a light rain. Last Spring, the rains were more intense that this “storm.” It’s now Monday 10:30 am and still peaceful no rain at all. Check out other commenters and compare their experiences to what the news reporters are so excitedly reporting.
Amen from here near Pasadena. Some rain and wind, but absolutely nothing unusual or "unprecedented."
Hopefully the rain and salvaged overflow of water from these so called heavy rains, will help our public serpents better manage the fire department fight the expected fires in the coming weeks/months from getting out of control.
Why is the media lying so much about this?
The only issue here is high elevation Mountains (S.D.-6500’) (L.A.-11,500) that runs either West to the Ocean or East to the Deserts in Lahar style flash floods taking out EVERYTHING in its path..!
- other than that, we're used to Atmospheric River storms once in a while, and Santa Ana's that rip through for a weekend topping 110mph
Cali needs an enema !!!!
This is a tropical storm, let’s fix and move on.
Don’t stay home. Main stream media is out of there minds.
At least they finally got some water
An earthquake too! Is this a movie? Where is Nicolas Cage, what is he going to do about this?
Landslide galore! Be safe.
Wow
S & G
Praying for you
In my area all we had were heavy rains at most. People in major counties like LA, SD, OC faced very light rains. It’s really only the desert communities that had been majorly impacted but again, they easily get floods even during normal rainy seasons. This warning should’ve been localized to those areas instead of dragging everyone else in it.
Does this mean summer is over?
Yes, put on your winter jacket.
CBS reports there
are no survivors 🙏🏻 💐
Awesome
Don't tempt us with that beautiful imagery.
Watching from So. Utah monday morning under blue skys. Where's the big storm???
Stay safe out there
My state 😔
We can handle earthquakes. It was just a 5.1.
Lock her up !!!
😂😂😂
Let her finish with California first.
Hurricane Killary!
Honestly coming from California, this is awesome! No more drought, and all these crazy people down here can be silent for a little bit.
How ignorant
All I can say is that the name HILARY, was VERY appropriate and well-chosen!
Please don't leave.. stay there, wait it out.. hopefully... the earth will break away, and you will float away. Then you can literally be out on a island by yourself..
If only this could also happen to Florida.
@@AstroAvengeryou are dumb
@@AstroAvenger Most likely would sink but California would be the best to see go taking all its liberal ways and Pronoun GeN Z’s away from ruining our country
You realize Hilary hit Republican areas in the desert right? Nice self-own
That would absolutely fantastic, California sinking into the ocean would be better.
It never rains in Southern California--yea right
This is awesome
“Sucks to see it go” my man that’s like ankle deep water what did you loose 😂
Thank God, we only got minimal rain in San Diego 🙏
Nothing to report.
That's crazy none of us felt the earthquake???
It's not a hurricane, by the time it hit southern California it was a tropical storm
I’m in la Mesa and this was the weakest storm I’ve seen, over hyped nonsense.
Comment by a young person about not quite seeing wind/rain at the same time just haven’t lived there long enough.
First in 84 yrs? What about Kathleen, Doreen? Hype Hype.
My understanding is that these were not direct hits to California (in contrast to this event) and that the effects on California were either far from the center or were from remnants of the tropical cyclones.
@@Krranski Ocotillo (highlighted in thr media during this event because of 50 poles down & a Boulder on I8) had dozens of homes obliterated, I8 washed away, railroad tracks to SanDiego were destroyed & never rebuilt, sheriff killed & people were using boats to get around town. They were massive & hit CA degraded to tropical storms as Hilary was. This was a thunderstorm in comparison to either of those storms. May be forgotten because of low population in Imperial County.
They had a hurricane in the 1800s . But they continue with the " First " or " HISTORIC " garbage everytime. Because their base will believe anything that is said to them.
Its cloudy, a little rain but still warm... in north cali.
That’s scary , thank god as a Los. Angles native I moved my ass to the Bay Area . I feel bad for people In so cal they got a hurricane then they were getting hit by an earthquake that sucks 😢
You guys are missing the point, why is it happening now, after all this time?
Signs!
U if think it’s a climate thing guess again u never been to the Grand Canyon where 90 years of drought and massive rains cut the canyon walls it’s earth spinning around A spinning sun surrounded by spinning planets
@@kencleg7721 90 years vs Forever
Better hope you fill them lakes up and not let all that water go
All this from a tropical storm... Imagine an actual cat 3+ hurricane. Gotta improve the systems for sure.
Stop! The tropical storm warning is cancelled
Evacuation ??
Friends were out in SD
They should have had this hype BEFORE Hawaii was destroyed
….. when was the last time that ditch/culvert/ area cleaned….
Most of Southern California barely saw a light sprinkle. Also, the flooding isn't due to the storm, parts of San Bernadino county are notorious for having poor drainage system, don't even need a huge storm to see flooding.
0:27 go back to your underground basement
True lmao
😂😂😂
Who is tired of the word "catastrophic" ?
Send the water to Louisiana?it's dry
How did those hoax-driven EVs workout in the storm? Hahaha!
I thought they said it never rains in Southern California
What's all those big round things floating around in the water?😳🙉🦀
*"It never rains in California, but girl don't they warn ya?"*
I’m located in Southern California I live in a desert town but damn we experienced nothing like this where I live literally had the window open enjoying the rain till about 8pm my prayers go out to those who were affected by the storm 🙏
Seriously, they’re over-exaggerating the hell out of this! 🙄 “Catastrophic storm” … 🤣Media must seriously be desperate for views & ratings!
Everyone who lives in Southern California knows the media fabricated this. It wasn't just for ratings when every msm channel repeated the same lies.
This is how it is with heavy rain we good out here lmao
God bless everyone there 😮 That young man is right! You can’t replace lives, but you can always get more stuff! Take care & follow emergency management’s instructions!
It became tropical storm as soon as it hit the colder California water
Good they needed all that
Mother Nature, filling the reservoirs and washing the feces off the sidewalks and playgrounds of Commifornia.
The universe is telling them something.
You mean Florida?
@@SA-hz1rs Isn’t 0:31 this about California?
@@eunicenield9631 I think the universe is trying to tell florida something more, as it got another hurricane. California just got rain

Cleanup efforts should start with the removal of homeless camps in San Francisco.
So lame. Not a hurricane. Not even the hardest it's rained THIS summer
First We Have Hurricane Ian, Now Hurricane Hillary In My State but Good Thing Nothing Destroy My House
Weather control device detected.
After hurricane Ian, I already know insurance is going to go through the room in Cali
People forget that in March 22, 2023 we had i-mph winds in San Diego ughhhhhh
It amazes me that cities built by the ocean don't build their infrastructure to prepare for this sort of situation ......... I understand incidents like this don't happen very often at all in California but you should still always be prepared..... Although we here in the gulf coast are just a bit amused at the amount of damage from a little tropical storm .... When other costal cities can take a cat 3 storm as if it's nothing
