I own this superb car: 745Le. Watching this amazing rebuild was very interesting. Brilliant work by highly qualified and professional work staff. Well done everyone working on this car. But I wouldn’t want buy an accident car. There could be countless problems on the future.
They went through the trouble of painting the bolts on the wings and bonnet... you would need to compare the dirt levels on underside areas of front vs rear to be suspicious of a hidden repaired. On the other hand, the methodology and replacement of front section looks legit, and the impact was really a perfect dead-on.
Wouldn't touch the car - belongs straight to scrap as with that amount of damage the whole integrity of the car is materially impacted. Measurements in the factory are by lazer not tape measure.
@japanwatchconnection I agree here. I don’t have a problem with Minor damage, but once the Frame has major creases/dents, the integrity is compromised. However, the amount of craftsmanship that goes into repairing said vehicles is amazing
Perfectly repairable cars like these, are too easily scrapped nowadays. Absolutely admire pannelbeaters still willing to take on tasks like this and doing an excellent job.
in Germany this car Cost *New* beginning at 116000 Euro´s. Even a Repair for 2000o euro´s or more would it be worth as long the Car´s Body is not totaly twisted.But in Germany you have to tell,when you sell a Car ,if there was an Accident.
Sorry, but I wouldn't want to buy such an accident car again. Despite the repair, the car will always cause problems, I know that from my own experience. Never again an accident car
