Is it true that once a car has been in an accident such as that, it never runs the same again even after fixed? Things just don't jive as well together anymore especially something like the Transmission.

The preconditions for a repairing like this are: Low wages, spare parts from a car with a rear crash. New spare parts will not be affordable since e.g. cost for a new head light are €2000 (LED) to €3000 (Laser), and there are a lot of other parts needing replacement.

A car wreck cannot be resold,anywhere near its original value and it can't be sold to you,as well as long as you ask and make sure it has not been in any previous major accidents or accidents.The seller has no legal obligation to tell you about,any previous accidents

Ни как. И подушки не ставят, ибо всё что они тянули и грели, при новом дтп уже сыграет не в пользу безопасности
@@HuiloPuони тянули и грели, чтобы геометрию выставить. Смотри внимательно, что гретые части выпиливали и меняли на новые. По крайней мере силовые
@@pavelagafonov8062 и это ровным счётом ничего не даёт! Мне машину тоже грели, тянули и заменили, а при новом лёгком дтп сложилось даже там, где старый удар был.
И кстати, подушки не сработали, хоть и были новыми

Специалист или пацаны в гараже свое экспертное мнение сказали? Там новые запчасти, лонжерон новый, сам кузов не тронут и даже не повело
@@pavelagafonov8062 лобовое треснуло в углу, это говорит о том что кузов ушёл от геометрии, да они поменяли лонжерон и вытянули металл, но в какую сторону сложится в следующий раз этот металл? И уже лобовое может не просто треснуть а выйти куском кузова в человека

на сколько я понял, бив хороши тем, что позволяют менять лбе кузовные. силовые элементы при соблюдении заводской технологии ремонта..
в москве автором официально имеет право менять стакан с номером кузова.. может еще кто то имеет право от бмв на данные виды работ..

Well, the car was like 60.000€. If the parts come in at 20.000 + labor is cheap in Asia, then it is worth it.

Technically no, financially yes/no - it depends on the place where the car is fixed.
@@legioner9 the cost to repair the vehicle after a collision is more than its value after subtracting the recycle or salvage value is considered a write off.... this looks like a total write-off. cars with such major damage can't be re-insured at least in Canada, yon can only get 3rd party only insurance, also with that much damage I would not feel that would hold up well in another accident.
@@AdrianJayeOnline Well, that's your opinion. In my vision it is soo wrong to throw everything away, cars especially, which can be repaired. You should download a car factory manual and see for yourself how a crashed car is repaired, i.e. the procedures. Exactly what you saw in this video. As I said, it depends in what part of the planet this car is repaired. States like Canada, US only contribute to the pollution by applying this silly money policy. In the states they scrap literally brand new cars with scratches & minor fender bender on them. That's truly insane. Don't expect this world to be healthy.
@@legioner9 it is my opinion, were not talking about a few dents and scratches, were talking about very serious heavy damage. not a fender bender. Putting a car back to factory is very different from a car which has been built from scratch. The metal has not been fatigued, that whole car body work has metal fatigue, UNSEEN from that massive crash. Were talking things microns out of place, that is like taking a 50/50 bet on russian roulette. Saving the planet is one thing, having your loved ones in a car that is potentially a death trap is something worth saving. If a car has a replaced fender or scratches no problems but that amount of re-engineering is not something I'd want to see on the road or drive in. If you buy a wrecked and repaired car in the UK, it will forever be ID's as a repaired. some cars will NEVER EVER see the road. In Canada, if you buy back and repair your own damaged car, it will NEVER ever get full insurance only 3rd party. It has nothing to do, with the level of work or how good the repair looks, it is physics, smash a metal bar with a hammer and besiders the obvious dents that WHOLE BAR will be fatigued and it is just a matter of time before it breaks. Car's are designed to crumple, they have crumple zones to save lives, not to save the car. crash your car or it's crashed move on and buy a full known 100% saved car. How much money do you put on the lives of your familly, is worth saving a few grand or even 10-20 grand worth the life or disablement of you or your familly. please go ahead save the planet, my focus is me and mine., have a great day, but I''m done here now

Bad repair i hope BMW wil not see this because of no mesuring system its not by any factory standard
This car cannot be restored. Once the structure has been badly damaged it will no longer maintain crash integrity when the metal is pulled out. If the car had a replaceable frame, it could be restored. But this cannot be done with modern unit body vehicles. Subframes cannot be reassembled exactly as the factory built the vehicle. Crush a beer or soda can. Even if you pulled it out perfectly, the metal looses it's original elasticity and resistance to force.
Wtf are you talking about? The left rail was replaced, the front facia, hood, fender and subframe.
Drive it after it's repaired. It won't feel the same. There is hidden damage transmitted throughout the structure.

Take two cars and do a govt crash test. Identical cars and test. One car has been previously wrecked. Compare damage and likely deaths after crash. But of course, you cannot find this testing done. Some parts are not visually damaged when a vehicle is assembled after a major crash but received significant impact forces. It's like taking an aluminum can, crushing it and pulling it out to spec dimensions. It won't crush the same as beforehand.
