Lieber Dietrich, herzlichen Dank für die fantastische Woche in Irland und Glückwunsch zu einem weiteren gelungenen Film. Fantastisch. Du bist eben ein Meister Deines F(V)achs.😊
Hello Dietrich,, good to be out fishing with a few friends and catch a few beauties too.Great trip and thanks for the invite, thumbs up and greetings from Down Under,, Tony.
Thank you, Tony. We surely had a great time at the pike, they are pretty good on the fly, particularly when over 4 pounds. All the best and greetings to New Zealand.

Vielen Dank, Gerhard. War wirklich wieder eine klasse Woche, wie immer viel zu schnell vorbei. Alles Gute aus Donegal, Irland und vielleich bist Du ja im naechsten Jahr wieder dabei.
I am glad you all had an enjoyable trip but a bit surprised that you didn’t put your fly rods up on The Loch and drift fish for those Irish Brown Trout? Don’t you like them?
@@DietrichBohnhorst brilliant viewing Dietrich .. thank you for your channel.. I hope to see another video of you and mr dave medlyn . Are a great team
Ha, as a Dutchman, I fall for the German See and Meer trap all the time. In Dutch the english word Sea translates to "Zee" and the English word for Lake translates to "Meer". And in German the German word for Lake is "See" and the German word for Sea is "Meer". Not sure how that happened...:) I am sure even you get confused talking abou Sea angling? Surely...
Where I'm from originally there is a Lake called "Steinhuder Meer", so I was confused from an early age on, but thought to be beyond confusion by now, until I read your comment.🙂 All the best and greetings from Donegal, Ireland.
@@DietrichBohnhorst no I did not have much experience at the time, there where only some ugly fish from the year before in the mouth of the river where it starts to be from kanal to river, there was a man from the church who was a syndicate member, he let me fish in his place, that was nice Pike we did catch in loch Derk !
The wonderful Cliffs of Moher, but the not so wonderful car park which steals money from the tourists, 12 euro per person not per car, don't use official car park, or disembark your passengers along the road and pay 12 euro just for driver . There is an alternative car park at 5 euro per head, use that, but it's Rip off Ireland at its finest, charging for scenery, a natural amenity.

brilliant to see the one and only king salmon fisher of Mr Ray Robinson!!!
We have a beer or two on a sort of ragular basis and it is always a great joy seeing the man.

Well, when 5 people are only interested in pike fishing, it is very difficult going after trout.
Brilliant video..
How many pike did ye catch alltohether??
Thank you, sir, for watching. We never counted the numbers. Only the biggest one was important, for the wee trophy. All the best and take care.

You had the sausages sorted out though.
Definitely, David.

Not with this one, there is only the original German version.
Nice place I was there in the same house years ago !
Also fished for salmon in the Shannon river a view days

It is the law to wear life jackets at all times on the water in Ireland. Would you disrespect the law in Germany?
In germany we'll prefer to obey speed limits.... like we say: some laws shall be broken 😅

We found it as well a bit on the expensive side, to say the least.
