The "Poncho" would make a great table cloth for an outdoor umbrella table
I think that poncho is a picnic tablecloth for a table with an umbrella.
It’s like you are a fair dinkum celebrity with all your fans greeting you as you go through the boxes. Crazy Lamp lady mania hits the flea market! 😜 Me thinks I’m not the only one who has been watching loads of your videos during lockdown.
I keep pointing out things to pick up and look at for me! :) Love watching the shopping.
lol me too
all those linens and blankets at dave's for a dollar - this aussie girl is envious, jealous and dying to have .... thank you for providing me with your videos as i am currently in lockdown here and have just recently found you .... love your style @Crazy Lamp Lady
You are so fortunate to have a market like this close to home. Nothing equivalent to this where I live (Australia). To quote Jocelyn, “I’m not gonna lie”, I’m jealous. Glad you can have the fun though.
The Orange cape like... You may have been thinking of a Rhuwana(from India)
I have a few. The front is open like a robe, not a poncho which only has a hole for the head.
But Josalyn you were sooo happy to be shopping, like a child in a candy store, and everything for a penny!!!! Yay!!! And we were happy for you 😁💕🐦🐦😺
Oh my, all that jewelry, I probably would of spent hours there looking through it. A lot of beautiful items you picked up, great finds, unbelievable prices. Thx Jocelyn.
Love that pale teal trim! So glad the flea market open again for you guys! OMG, one dollar, I would go so crazy there, all that lace! Be still my heart!
Randy Romines Ikr? I don't think she looked at the lace though. It's really pretty & they could use some to display things on in their store too.
Joselyn, I have been missing you and Andrew. Even though you were still putting out videos from the house and new store, it just wasn't the same as seeing you both hunt and gather lol. I do appreciate that you took the time, every day,to bring us into your home and store. That was great. Your home is beautiful. I can't wait for everything to get back to "normal". This way we can see you and Sue together again. Another thing, please don't feel you need to explain yourself in each video about mask/gloves. There are people out there that will find and make up negativity on everything. They are just looking for attention and to cause a problem. Don't waste your breath on them. You are such a positive person. We don't want anyone to bring you down. I would love to see a clip of the children. It's been a bit since I have seen them, except for in the back of your mom's car. Would be nice to see how much they have grown over these months. Hugs to you and Andrew and keep doing what you're doing. Stay safe and healthy!🙃
Just love the old, vintage linens. The poncho is not a serape. INHO It looks more like a skirt for a Christmas tree or an outdoor patio table. The hole is for the umbrella.
So funny to see that rose lamp again! Plug it in, plug it in, Jos! I love shopping along when you’re in overload. Time to start buying big stuff for the shop! Waiting for the sausage song. Serape, not poncho?
I loved seeing everything. Haven't been out for THREE months because I'm immuno-compromised. Thanks for looking into all the boxes with your camera. 👍😊
I stopped wearing gloves too. For the same reason. Use them to pump gas but otherwise, just keep using hand sanitizer when I go out.
Pump gas? You pump your own gas? OMG no no no no no. I don’t want to think about who all was touching that pump before me
Bee And Bark in England, we all pump our own petrol!!!
I may stop, as well. It's so much easier to sanitize. I was finally able to replenish my sanitizing supply, so no longer worried I will run out.
I love old, embroidered table cloths. I have one my Grandmother made. You should take the flower lamp back and auction it off to raise money for the kids school or something. A piece of iconic Crazy Lamp Lady history. 🤣😋❤ I thought the poncho was a tree skirt lol
Omg Miss you guys so much ☺ happy happy
You would have to drag me away from the $1.00 boxes! 🥰
DITTO!I would be hard pressed not to make an offer on the whole lot!
I have a green depression canister like the pink one without a lid. I use it for kitchen utensils. Those dollar boxes were so much fun. Wish I could have gone through them. Linens too.
Part of the conversation about the rose lamp might have been that you plugged it in twice! That was hysterically funny. Andrew is so patient with you.
@17:55. I was actually surprised you didn’t grab that lamp earlier. I didn’t realize those had a low value. I personally think it’s adorable! ❤️. @19:07. Nice find! That’s a neat plate!
Amazing stuff you have at your flea markets plus you can go to them as ours are still closed. Like how you show the backs of items. It would be hard not to take boxes and boxes home.
PA is open for Flea markets? My daughter is 19 and she and I live for flea markets. We LOVE the ones in PA! We are in NY and go on vacation every year to PA and we hit up flea markets, antique shops and thrift stores. We miss them so much. We were cleaning out my mom’s house this weekend and came across so many doileys and linens. I have no room for them but will be donating them for others to enjoy/
I think the round cloth things might be Christmas tree skirts.
I was thinking table coth with umbrella hole
I do too
No
I love your flea market! The vendors have the best stuff at the best prices! Lucky y’all!
Cascade dishwasher cleaner and Dawn, is what I use to clean cloths or doilies. Tip given to me by an elderly Antique dealer.
I use cascade and vinegar directly on the spot...cold wash
Then a cold wash with laundry soap...
So EXCITING I would have been in my GLORY especially at those prices nyc here we don’t have those prices our flea market is still closed having withdrawals but watching your videos makes me feel better lol thank you 🙏💕be safe
I loved seeing the flea market. Would love to be there and dig through the boxes of linens!
We still have a few boxes sitting at the shop that we need to go through.
I'm envious.lol. So many wonderful things. The ponch thing you were looking at, to me looked like a homemade table covering for the patio table with the umbrella. Lol. I'm probably wrong but who can squeeze their head through that little hole.lol. Have Fun Stay Safe and God Bless
I think the round fabric is for a round table that has an umbrella in the center. My mother in law had them for her patio table.
That whole box of patterns---i'd be diving into to find 1940-60's women's patterns
Ah, the little basset hound pin Lisa gave you for donation is adorable! She collects Christmas pins for me♥️
Isn’t it SO cute?!
Her comment about pumping gas reminded me that I haven't had to get gas in my car since February!! Stay at home order!
Wait! We haven't had a "ring my bell" video forever!!!
😆yes
Please no :)
But
@5:05. In my first year of college I had taken a geology class that used those exact kind of kits for practicing our classifications on.
Biz bleach removes stains without damaging fabric. I make a paste and use brush to apply and let it sit. When dry Rinse and voila
Ahhhhh! The forest green glass at 8:30. I know its not worth much but I love it. Heavy sigh, and I have a lot already. Laurie O.
That my favorite too. Love the forest green, she didn't even oay ut any attention. 🤣🤣
Danny OBrien Me too, such a lovely color.
I remember having a complete set of the pink depression glass that you placed back in the box because it had no lid. I couldnt sell it so donated it to the PDSA (a vet charity for people unable to pay vets bills). I loved looking at the jewellery snd absolutely loved the blue & white tablecloth (some Blue Magic would get that stain out). Loved the dollar boxes too. Thanks for taking me shopping, here's hoping the sausages were delicious).
Depression glass is such a tough sell.
A lot of collectors snub Floragold and Iris but they look gorgeous on Holiday tables, esp. for desserts. I love it. I have pieces from my daughter's great grandmother.💗 I would grab those doilies for 1$. Lol.
Hello everyone! Good morning!! ❤☕I enjoy your fleamarket videos soo much!! The 1$ treasures were such steal! The little shoes were my favorite. 🙂
Great fines! Loved the DOLLAR items! Can’t you hear me yelling: GET IT! Blessed and safe days!
As for the poncho, I believe he was thinking of a quechquemitl or a huipil. I can’t be 100% since I didn’t get a good look. But if they were, you could have gotten a really nice amount for then; especially the orange one 🧡. Plus, for things like that (free size), your potential customers are greater. Thanks for the video!
I would be there forever looking and buying lots of treasures. I love the thrill of digging.
I think it is an outside patio table cloth or a tree skirt. I don't think it is a poncho. ?
Junk overload = Junk Drunk 🤣😂💕
I love vintage linens. Nice pick on the tablecloth. :)
Smart statement about the gloves. So many people don’t get it!!!!
If you have newspaper delivered, those plastic sleeves are swell for pumping gas. Or even use sandwich bags.
Thanks for sharing and caring! Stay Safe!
use borax and laundry baking soda.... to get stains out of fabric... make a paste and a soft brush.... I even got rust out of a vintage wedding dress using this
I love Annalee dolls!
All of that vintage linen, I am Freaking Out!! I wish we had more flea markets with great stuff in the PNW!
I was just telling my husband the same thing I wish we had flea markets and thrift stores with all of the beautiful old glassware/pottery and linens for reasonable prices here in California
Linens🥰 I think of all the hours that went into making them .
Nice vintage crochet runners and doilys at 10:13 and 11:03. I would have been all over that crochet work! That stuff sells really well on eBay, for only a dollar a piece that's money all day!
We’ve got four boxes of linens from this same lot sitting over at our shop. Dave pulled out four boxes of the nicer linens and we paid $150 for them. I just have to commit to going through them.
That flying nun box was so cool! And the McDonalds watch. The naughty comics would do well too.
So glad to see you making the example to all, wearing a mask 😷
Yes I thought that too. Tablecloth
Hi, I just found your channel a few days, I live in Dillsburg and go to the Williams grove flee market. Love thrifting and antiques. Really enjoy your channel!
We live two minutes from Williams Grove in Mechanicsburg. ☺️
Oh my! ONE DOLLAR! I would have been there for a good two hours or so just digging for what I love. Be well Jocelyn. Love what you do. Love those strawberries.
I inherited a custard glass like the one at 1:36 and it glows. I bet that one would, too. It appeared to glow even without a black light.
That cracked English plate is a pattern called Indian Tree and the same basic pattern was made by a number of factories - popular in the 1950s
Omg! I want all those doilies lol! Great video! ❤
I found a similar tablecloth with that same yellowed stain. What would you do to usually clean yours? Good to see you out and about again.
I rely heavily on oxiclean and shout color catchers.
The statue of Mary holding Jesus is Pieta by Michelangelo that sits in Vatican in Rome. Nice piece
I was going to say that! Lol. Now I dont have to. Such a lovely, sorrowful image.
Agreed!
Veritas......Great Singing Group...Christian...
Gosh darn! I am getting as excited as you. Wish I could thrift
I do flea markets to . that's a great idea useing bannans box's . easy to packup when you're done 👍🇨🇦
You need to get some Grandma Laundry Spray it removes all kinds of stains. Walmart sells it if not in your you might can have it delivered. Amazon had it too.
What a cool rock collection .
I think the “poncho” looks like a tilma 🙌🏻❤️ and may be what he was thinking 🤔 💭 of😄
At 7:35 mins in, you passed by a box that had a red handled ice cream scooper. Some of those can go for a good price.
No kidding about the overload...I would’ve had a very hard time leaving there! Can hardly wait to see the haul.
Could that "poncho" be a serape? I had a friend who used one of them for a wall decoration. It's so great to go flea market shopping with you. Now I'm dealing with hoarders envy. Stay safe and healthy.
If you run out of gloves to pump gas, buy dog poop bags on line cheap and work.
The little duck was cute!
Someone shared with us to use Walmart or other grocery bags, bread bags, etc. to pump gas.
Great video. When are you going to list the phinocco from a few days ago.
Oh I would have too much fun in the dollar boxes !
Hey Jocelyn... the first thing I thought of when I saw that poncho looking thing, was a Christmas tree skirt? Just a thought!! Can't wait for tomorrow's video.
I though so as well, but it was square.
There's a Dresdon Ohio right by where Longaberger baskets are made....?
Or that poncho is a tree skirt for round the xmas tree base
I would spend hrs goin through those Linens and dishes....
That studio pottery pitcher was not raku. You can tell because the unglazed clay would have turned black. The black on that pitcher is a glaze and the bottom showed red clay. The red clay would have been back on the bottom but it wasn't.
For my future reference, raku is glazed on every surface?
Raku can have glaze or not have glaze. Any surface area on the pottery that does not have glaze will start to turn black. "Areas with no glaze on them take the oxygen from the clay itself, meaning some areas will have a matte black coloring." The clay on the unglazed bottom of the pitcher was not blackened, so not raku. Also I'm the one who asked about the wheat pottery lamp and my mom mom asked about it a week ago on your local pick-up page and she hasn't gotten any response.
Oh! The local pickup kind of fell by the wayside when things started opening up again. Sorry about that. I would probably ask $80 for it.
Great haul.i would have pick up all the art.
Me too!
Jocelyn where did you find your mask ? I've been looking for one like that. It looks like it's easier to breathe than the ones I have
What is meant by “stretch glass”? Is it more valuable than Depression glass?
Stretch glass is similar to carnival glass, but unlike carnival glass, it is reheated after the iridescence is applied. It was popular in the 1920s.
Crazy Lamp Lady Thanks so much! I have a pink bowl and 2 matching candlesticks. I will be checking comps! 💖
Dollar days @ Dave’s!!!!
YES!!!! start selling your linens , pretty please. ;)
I have boxes of them. 🤦♀️
YES .. I know you do!!!
Let them goooooo....$$
See them like a third floor hoarders room... lol
Be safe sweet heart thanks for sharing.
Was the “poncho” a serape?
I got some of those rocks in a box when I was about 7 at a local rock shop near me now..that was 53 yrs. ago and they may have been older yet
was wondering if you still sell on Etsy or are you just on Ebay now
I read 'out of the silent planet's as a kid although it was written for adults. It's was pretty good.
For those who don’t have gloves like me...I use dog potty bags when I pump gas!
I hope you picked up some of those afghan blankets! so pretty!
Great day out with you, still in lock down, and missing going out😳did you hear me shouting at you to pick up all the braiding, love from Dartmoor England ❤️❤️❤️
I bought some of the last Jenette. 😜
WOW! Lot of great stuff there.
That 1920s ring box is like the one my Grandmothers wedding band sets in...she got married in 1925...,
Dollar boxes! Oh my goodness!
Wow what a dollar sale!
Hi beautiful lady so excited you are back to outside shopping!!!
