Hello Martin, thanks for taking the time to update us about yourself, your history etc. Regarding your UA-cam channel, please be aware, many of us don’t do Tik Tok and never will, so your UA-cam is the only way new followers not on Tik Tok will keep up with you. Regarding UA-cam contents, please only post one video a week maximum 30 minutes. Not any longer than that. If you do more than one video a week, what happens is if and when someone misses a couple of your videos, they stop watching as they are not up to date with you and can’t be bothered trying to watch what they have missed, so only maximum one video a week no longer than 30 minutes I would suggest. I have a couple of questions for you. 1, You said tiles and bricks ? What are your trailers going overseas for ? What do they take out and bring back from overseas ? 2, I would have thought presenting a radio show would have been as much pay as driving ? Well done on the career change. 3, Does your company have bases elsewhere in the UK. A quick update about me, I was a truck driver for 10 years from the age of 21-31. I drove tanker’s carrying hazardous chemical waste for 6 years and general haulage for 4 years. 3 of those 4 years was with Eddie Stobarts based in Warrington in the 90s. At the age of 31, I got a job with Shell at Manchester Airport as an aircraft refueller. I did that for 9 years until the age of 39. Whilst doing that, I decided to train part time to gain my Commercial Pilots License. It cost me £55,000 and took me 6 years part time training. In 2007 I got a job as a co pilot first officer for Thomson Airways flying 737s based at Manchester Airport. In 2010, I was made redundant and the only job I could get was with Qatar Airways flying Airbus A320s based in Doha, Qatar in the Middle East. I have lived in Qatar since 2010 and been a Captain since 2015. I still love trucks and still have my C+E and a Digi card that I’ve never used. I don’t have a CPC yet as never used my C+E on the road since 1998. I always renew my C+E just in case I need it one day. Once you’ve been a truck driver, it stays in your blood. I follow quite a few on UA-cam and it’s my way of feeling I’m still trucker LOL The Running Trucker, Raul689, Trucker Jay in the UK
Hi Fizzy, Just found you and Subbed, looking forward to seeing your content and watching how your channel grows. 2 videos per week about 20 to 30 minutes each sounds good to me. Take care and keep the shiny bits out the dirt mate, look forward to next upload. Cheers
A'up FozzyLad. Good to see a new vlogger promoting the industry in a positive way, as you do a variety of work you have the opportunity to show how a driver deals with strapping/securing different loads, which will help to encourage new drivers into the industry. Been watching a few vloggers over the years, mainly Barry(Onboard with me in a HGV), Trucker Jenko. Personally i like a vlog that's about 20/30 minutes long, and maybe once or twice a week, either a montage or a single day vlog. Would be good to hear what you think of the Scania Super too.
Hey Fozzy! New subscriber. Loving the content & your personality already. How often to vlog?. I'd say 2+ times a week would be awesome. Content?.you Trucking lol...would love a truck tour inside and out. Lot more I'd like to ask but.. will spread it out over your vlogs lol I don't use tiktok, constantly flooded with garbage. I'm an American Trucker. Obsessed with trucks & Trucking all around the world. Looking forward to the future of your channel.
Nice video mate and the makings of a good channel. My suggestion is 2 vids a week, and PLEASE don't make them any longer than about 30 minutes. I love Jenko, for example, but the videos are too long. Many don't have the time to watch and keep up-to-date with long videos and you get behind, with no time or motivation to catch up. Keep up the good work
Good luck with the channel mate, just found it yesterday, I would say a couple of videos a week 10 to 12 minutes sounds good I hate when some go on far too long, yeah I like you but do I really want to watch you for 45 minutes? Some seem to like the sound of their own voice so to speak, as far as I’ve seen so far Fozzy, I’ll be tuning back in!
Good start to the channel mate, think you could be on to a winner safe trucking and keep filming mate.
Great video mate look forward to more 👍
