I think the episode where Flanders loses his house to the hurricane deserves more credit. It's a genuinely hilarious deconstruction of the "whole town comes together to help out in a disaster" trope. They did something extremely kind for Flanders and worked very hard to accomplish it, but they built a house that is completely unlivable. It's a totally realistic outcome of a bunch of random people with no experience building a house trying to do so with little organization or oversight -- but Flanders still has to be grateful even though they totally shit the bed. The Simpsons was at its best when it was able to put blend wacky and realistic events to put its characters in hilarious predicaments.
I always thought that intro tune sounds like it was sung by Maude, Rod, and Todd. How many other Simpsons characters love Ned Flanders? Even Rev Lovejoy doesn't like him

Ned mental breaking is a wake up call to the town because even the nicest person has limits to the madness of Springfield.

4:49 "and let's not forget about the folks who just don't feel like working god bless them" this is hilarious
Every New Year's Day I think of this entire scene, Ned wakes up at 12:00AM to start doing his taxes...and laugh at the fact he's done before the post office opens and has to rush without forgetting to add the mints.
2:36 Jesus Ned is packing god damn
ChildT
My thoughts exactly
I like that Moe, Lennie, and Carl are just standing there really angry with no clue at all as to why they are standing there and being filmed.
The "purple drapes" bit gets me every time 😂
Wooo okay dUUde, I don't want you to have a cow mAAn. Here's a catch phrase you want to remember for your adult years.
"Hey dude, got a quarter"
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Homer: "Shut up Flanders". Also Homer: *annoys Flanders*
Erica Riley XD
"I just have to think like Flanders; I'm a big four eyed lamo and I wear the same stupid sweater everyday and'.''
"THE SPRINGFIELD RIVER!!"
“Feels like I’m wearing, nothing at all!!”
"Nothing at all! Nothing at all!"
@@KayosKing homer, 'stupid sexy flanders!'
Love the fact that he clearly has a dad bod with the sweater on, but is totally ripped with it off.
I have a lot of respect for Ned Flanders one of the reasons because Ned Flanders does not judge people for how they look the person you can go to and tell him you what's hurting you and bothering you Ned Flanders will always listen the person you can cry on he's shoulder he a God fearing man
8:50 Ned, everyone here meant well. And everyone here tried their best.
Well my family and I can't live in good intentions. LOL
Ned Flander's positive energy brightens my day.
Ned roasting the Simpsons and Chief Wiggum had me rolling!🤣
4:29: Ned Flanders REMIX! (That‘s actually not bad!)
I wanna find the remix so bad 😂
There is a metal band called okilly dokily that all dress like Flanders.
I’m surprised the phrase hasn’t been trademarked.
White wine spritzer is a banger
“Im Dick Tracy, take that prune face”
“Now I’m prune face, take that Dick Tracy”
“Now I’m Prune Tracy, take that…”
One of my favorite jokes ever😂
The terminator scene chasing Ned hahaha
