ok so I googled it. I remember that being a thing when I had my kiddos 20 years ago. I mean, I didn't know about drying it and making it into capsules, but some people from childbirth class talked about making a meatloaf. I honestly thought they were joking. oops. I think it is interesting and prob wouldn't frown on it today if I were having my babies. To each her own.

Oh my gosh I love watching the old videos and seeing what your perspective was at that point. I'm watching this in 2021 and just watched your other Q&A from April of 2021. The advice you gave for expectant mothers is exactly the same. Don't live by the clock! Advice to get kids to eat fruits and veggies .... keep giving it to them.
And you're right, your family isn't complete. After you have baby #4 (ironically named Meredith), you still don't know if you're done. lol!

One of my biggest pet peeves is kind of in line with yours, but it's when someone doesn't have a towel in their bathroom for your hands. We've got soap, we've got water, but no towel. Or when the towel stinks.
I didn't even know that Wentworth was in the car!

I am just now finding your older videos, Kim. I am amazed Alex is from a large family! :) My mom comes from a family of 10 children and they are all very close. She is 75 now and the eldest of the girls (6 girls 4 boys). My dad was an only child. He definitely had to get used to a couple things when he met her (such as brewing more coffee at 10PM at night and gathering around the table). LOL! My parents will be married this year 52 years. :D Fun fact. My mom is 75, my dad is 74. ;)

I had a VBAC. I tried for a home birth (ended up having unforeseen complications and getting transferred to a hospital) and my midwives and doula explained placental encapsulation. That’s awesome you do that!
Also, my parent’s wedding anniversary is also December 20. 😊

Aghhhhhh.. Cant sleep up late watching your videos again lol I read your pet peeves about hand soap in people's bathroom or the lack thereof and using dish soap to wash their hands. That is so me! I can't stand when people don't have the pump soap. I also cannot stand when people use my bathroom and I can tell they did not wash their hands because my perfectly placed hand towel has not been moved and they come out with dry hands. 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢Do you know what else I can't stand when people have their USED bath towels hanging up and you're supposed to dry your hands on them. Thought I'd share. Love ya!

You guys are so funny and entertaining. And I'm not judging you for liking chips and mustard. Personally, I think that sounds delicious!
So crazy your husband is using your GI bill too! What branch was he in? How long was he in for?! How do you guys like civilian life?! lol
He was in the Marines for 6 yrs. He spent 3 tours in Iraq then did his last few years "inactive". I met him when he returned from the second tour so I've basically always lived civilian life with him for the most part. I'm glad he's out because those deployments are the pits!
