Well,there man made lake (people dig it for clay) near me who had blue color,i mean the color is more darker blue in middle Everyday after school i always ride pass that area, the year is 2013 btw Few weeks ago i tried to visit that area again but now the road already closed I wonder did the lake still hold the blue color in it Im in south sumatra,palembang and the lake i see is near army base (lanud sri mulyono herlambang)

Danau Kaco is indeed somewhat close to western coast of Sumatra. but it's in Jambi, not the Province of West Sumatra.
