3:55 This is in Dutch. 3:58 This is in French. Since you have both it means that this box is from Belgium where Dutch and French are both official languages. Since I speak French, I can translate for you. On top box it says, "Choose your fate and try to win one of many Star Wars prices". The top of the middle box asks to choose between the light and the dark side and explain their choice by either writing or drawing. The bottom of the middle box asks to guess how many people will participate in this contest. The bottom box is just a fill out form with instruction to send the form to an address in Bruxelles, Belgium (confirming my original assumption) before the 31st of December 2017.
I remember ordering something online so I could get the Last Jedi themed ''mystery box''. But when my order arrived I didn't get the mystery box. Luckily some time later I recieved two in the mail so that was pretty cool.
With how disappointed I am with modern LEGO Star Wars Clones and choices... it's the little things in life that will make me happy hahah thank you! Glad you enjoyed!
The Shore trooper polybag mystery box was also sold in Belgium, my country 😉. It was sold in or most popular Toy store: Dreamland. I got 3 of those boxes 😅
I must say that in Russia no one buys mystery boxes, since the official reseller of the Lego company (in Russia - Mir Kubikov) always puts sets there that are not in demand by the buyer, do not make a profit and simply lie in a warehouse or on display. Mystery boxes sold for about $60-80, which is the price of a good set. P.S. It's Russian business.
that "STAR WARS GIFT BOX!" was funny af, im pretty sure all us lego nerds were on the edge of out seat to see the cool stuff and ended up being the funniest thing in a while.
If you want to recoup some of the cost of the big box I would be interested in buying that Hoth 20th set from you, fun to see what’s contained in those “mystery boxes”
I got an Indiana Jones mystery box back at SDCC in '08. Sealed. Traded for it at the time. Got a polybagged jeep with Indy figure. Very cool and an exclusive temple terrain build with two Ugha Warrior figs. The terrain you drive over is like a trap too. That was exclusive (the terrain/temple build) only to that Indy box (box exclusive too). Worth like $600 now. It was $50 at that show. So like at the time, that polybag (jeep and figure) you could say like $10 dollars, and the temple/trap/terrain is like roughly less than 200 pieces or so? So fairly say like a $15 worth of Lego (large skull element, two large ramps are stand out elements to have). And with the two Ugha Warrior figs another like $5 of figs. So total, I'd say you got $30 of Lego, and exclusive box, exclusive instructions on nice quality paper (unique to Lego). Box very sturdy w/nicely printed graphics. Unique fold out instructions on thick paper. Very exclusive too, for a Lego set. So you could say at the time, a fair price considering only 500 made and convention exclusive to boot. One of my prized pieces in my Lego collection.
The text on the paper isn't actually Dutch but French and it says: "choose your Destiny and your chance to win. One of many starwars awards". Which leads me to believe it may have come frome a Top1toys in Belgium
the second box was available in belgium as well it was free if you had a lego membership every month you get another free lego mystery item box the items inside could be from ninjago star wars harry potter
3:40 Translation from Dutch: "Dear ___, Join me to discover the latest Star Wars (The Last Jedi) at Kinepolis and go to a galaxy far far away!" Kinepolis is a cinema, but it doesn't appear to be a ticket, just a bit of cardboard to invite people. I think the small text say something like: "This invitation isn't a ticket, and also cannot be traded in for one. To participate in a showing of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, you have to buy a ticket beforehand" Exciting stuff -_-
3:56 "Choose your path for a chance to win fantastic Star Wars prizes. Choose your side and tell us why you picked the light or the dark side of the Force! " The blurry bit is harder to read, but it looks like you're supposed to guess how many people have participated in the sweepstakes by the 31st of December at midnight, followed by contact details.
I remember that there were several such boxes, it seems, 2-3, and they were sold only in Russian lego stores, and nowhere else. if you search on Russian trading platforms, you may be able to find others. But if my memory serves me right, they stopped being released around 2020, probably because they didn't sell very well. They mainly consisted of those sets that remained after the completion of gift promotions, and those things that were lying around in warehouses due to low demand, for example, these plastic bags with aliens and a keychain with Darth Vader 2003 - obvious examples of what I'm talking about. Although sometimes there were cases that such boxes contained sets that were not distributed during gift promotions, although they were provided to Lego for free, but due to the fact that Russian lego stores are an approved partner network, and not directly owned by Lego, they had the right to produce such solutions. Although there were few such cases, they still happened.
The first box you opened was from a German company, they make custom minifigs. I got it in a box like this my custom Darth Jedi Bob, brother of the original Jedi Bob.
If Lego were to have mystery boxes of some of those European SW magazine polybags (containing both figures and mini-builds) for US customers, I could very much see myself getting some. Then again, I think I'd rather just have a Star Wars minifig series that features SW characters or a Clone Trooper focused one. With the older helmets of course.
ok 3:37 this is what i can traslate Come toghether with me to the newest star wars the last jedi at kinepolls find out and go with me to a galaxy far far away so yes its a ticket as a dutch person translation is easy 3:55 choose your path and make chance on fantastic star wars prizes
With the Ahsoka show coming out, I'm hoping we will get more Expanded Universe types ships (was that an E-Wing starfighter I saw in the trailer?) Despite any criticisms of the new show, anything "new" Star Wars I'm still excited about. I'm wondering (because it would take quite a bit of research and effort) if anyone could ever make a video about all the things that LEGO has not made into sets yet and let the viewer decide what is the most exciting top 10. I'm always appreciative of this type of video because Star Wars really is a meaty subject.😂
I kinda just realized how contradictory LEGO fans where to LEGO. Back in the day, we complained about the minifigures nog being good. (because of not cool figs or lots of sequel figs) Than they switched things up, did promos without figs but with builds or smth. And we still complained.😂 But they don’t get it, we want figs yes. But GOOD figures that you wouldn’t get in regular sets otherwise. So LEGO, please stop being dumb.😂
10K likes on the video and I'll buy un official mystery boxes to see if I get scammed!

I’ve been collecting Lego for over a decade, and I had zero clue they made mystery boxes. No wonder they’re called “mystery” boxes

I love these more raw/more personality based content 😂 They are so enjoyable
Man, It was so good to see Mandr excited for something Lego-related again. The paper hype is real.
Amazing video! The December 2018 gift box is clearly the best (in my opinion) by having all of those minifig polybags.
You only had to spend $75 USD to get it. Looking back on it it insane value...
I remember ordering something online so I could get the Last Jedi themed ''mystery box''. But when my order arrived I didn't get the mystery box. Luckily some time later I recieved two in the mail so that was pretty cool.
I don’t know why watching you open mystery boxes is so damn fun and exciting…

now that i think about it, that paper wrap thing in the last box could be a good design for lego 's new recycle-able paper bags inside each lego sets
OMG 2:50 this really gives me weird memory. I as kid always wanted it lol! I am dutch
Ask MandR: Where did you get the only "official" mystery box with Yularen?
Dude I just realized I’ve been into Lego Star Wars since 2009… 14 whole years.
If you want to recoup some of the cost of the big box I would be interested in buying that Hoth 20th set from you, fun to see what’s contained in those “mystery boxes”
Bro really bought Russian LEGO
Da comrade
Christmas came early for Ryan when he opened the last one and saw the wrap😂

The red circle says "A Star Wars Bedroom make-over"
Ryan: sees a box that literally has the word "gift" on it
Also Ryan: pays hundreds of dollars for it
FirstOrder Storm Trooper Brick Sketch is one we’re still getting at the store I work at

Take the paper and bring it to a paint store that sells wallpaper. They can make you custom wallpaper with that design.
Not me getting hyped for thinking it’s a new box sent from actual Lego with possibly reveals or something
