Great video, very high quality, you definitely deserve much more subscribers! I've added 2 routines in my work week since 3 months ago. 1. Reflect/review over every week, how did communication go, projects, workload, overall happiness. So I can see common patterns of happy/unhappiness and talk about them with my manager. 2. Priority list, I start on the Friday making a list of most important tasks for the next week, and on the week itself I add new important ad-hoc requests, every morning I choose some tasks that fit best for that given day and slowly work off my prio list for the week. In case that some items stay on it for too long (several weeks), I'll check in on importance and see if I can get more time allocated for it, in combination with my manager to push back other type of work.
I love these as well! I know how I perform better when I do these things but often forget about setting time for them and just go about my day / week a bit more mindlessly. Will try to bring these back in 2023 :)
Well I watched this to try and find a way to stay on top of my tasks. I find that on my days off of work I tend to be unproductive and that forces me to rush through the work days to try and find time to do the stuff I should have done on my days off. But I'll give the method you outlined a try and see if that helps.

On which software stack you work ?
I work on iOS, so it's mostly native Swift & Objective-C (using Xcode) and oftentimes Typescript when I need to work with a web-based project!
