Man Transformers Decepticons was and still is one of my favorite games ever It was my first game, which I received for my birthday of 6 years with the Nintendo. I played the fuck out of that game, to the point I had 92% on it! I did EVERYTHING I could do without online. What a shame I never got to get the jet transformation :(
Cop the Recruit is also my pick for the best free roamer on the DS. It's amazing how they beautifully packed a fully 3D city of New York into a little DS game. Something that even Rockstar Games did not do with their GTA game on the DS
@@augakem It was not 2D, its proven that if you modify the game, it was a 3D game just from a dif angle, which was really confusing to move around and handle.
Fighting Fantasy is one of the best games on the DS, and easily one of my favorite games in general. Absolutely spectacular game if you like old-school FPP RPGs like Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall, Anvil of Dawn, Dungeon Master, Witchaven, Lands of Lore 3, etc.
@@SuperMacro64 Agreed! And yeah I was pretty stumped about that as well, until I came across a bunch of old 2009-era forum discussions on the game, and what I saw was that most of the people talking about it were prior fans of the original 1980s Fighting Fantasy gamebook series, and they wanted a gamebook adaption, not an open-world FPP RPG. I've never played those old gamebooks, so I looked them up and also watched some footage of other Fighting Fantasy games. The books seem strange and a bit lame (in my opinion) and the other video games are basically like virtual board games, and they get a ton of love from fans of the series. As best I can tell, this game didn't do well simply because it wasn't what fans of the franchise were expecting or wanting, and other people simply didn't pay it any attention. Extremely unfortunate, as it is an astounding game. Both in its technical achievements and its fun gameplay. This is a bit of a tangent, but if you're interested in some other impressive first-person hidden gems, check out Dementium II and X-Scape. Dementium II is much better than the first Dementium, and has varied environments, more gameplay features, and a better storyline. It is a great first person horror game. Just a word of warning though, play the DS version, not the PC version. Dementium II HD, the PC version, is atrocious. X-Scape is a game made by Dylan Cuthbert, who is the creator of Star Fox. Before making Star Fox, Cuthbert had made a gameboy-exclusive called "X" in 1992, which didn't do so well sales-wise. He personally loved the idea though, and always wanted to come back to it. Nearly 20 years later, he did. X-Scape is the sequel to the original, although there's no need to play them in order. X-Scape stands alone just fine, and is an extraordinarily unique game for the DS. It's an open-world first-person space-exploration game where you travel to like 20 planets and explore them in a space craft that can turn into a land vehicle. It has a good story which I won't spoil, in case you decide to play it.
It looks awesome! I played a lot of Orcs & Elves on DS, and always wished it wasn't locked to the grid. Fighting Fantasy seems like what I've always wanted!
Lost in Blue was a fantastic game. I bought it on release. Man that was a long time ago. Funny I just watched a playthrough of it a few days ago for the memories. I really enjoyed it. Good luck finding a copy!
I knew the first Transformers Ds games would be on this list. Wouldn’t be a complete list without those two games. I never exactly got to play as many Transformer games as I wish I could on console, so im glad to have Decepticons DS on emulator.

Transformers, GTA : Chinatown Wars, and C.O.P The Recruit are impressive on this machine
My personal pick would have to be transformers decepticons, I think it's an amazing game.
Yup surprised you're the first to say it tbh
I remember enjoying the openworld of this game. I also remember that the game was way to hard for ordinary 6 year olds
Deceptions was the better of the 2 tranformers 1 games.
Bringing back amazing memories of my childhood, Jesus I used to play the hell out for that game 😂
