I agree it’s the goat… I purchased mine new in December 2023 I just wished the battery gave me more charge time then 4 & a half hours I’m currently getting. I purchased the gold too… I did realize it probably sat on a shelve for a good while prior to purchase
I absolutely agree wholeheartedly. I have connected to an interface and 2 rokits 5 g4 and a krk 10vs sub when on the desk and grab it when I want to make music on the go.
I’m adding the Key 61 to my studio again or the Key 37 eventually. The Key 61 actually sonically sounds the best possibly due to the extra ram allowing more samples for larger instruments.
I feel like the battery and the speaker is the only thing making me shy away from getting a maschine plus . If maschine would of went this route I would of been sold so the live 2 or even the original live are looking like the move
It’s hands down the best and some days I would say for sure the goat……but we can’t count out the 2000xl….it’s the best modern drum the X is a close second Got a gold ima get a retro as well, even though ima eventually get the XSE which is retro that’s how much I love the Live 2
Yes I’ve owned the Maschine MK3 and Maschine + (just sold it), I temporarily owned and an MPC X SE, I still have an MPC key61 and I also have a Push 3… with that said my Live 2 is still King I had actually sold it to get the MPC Key when I had the XSE but quickly regretted it and just bought a used live 2 (sold my Maschine + to do so)
Maschine Software is better than Akai software I’ll say that tho. But the reason Live 2 is so dope is for casual fun… creating outside of your normal places adds so much creativity
Hi, I wanted to buy one but I heard a lot of bad reviews about the finger drumming, the pads have a lot of double triggering problems is that true? Some people even have to change the pads.

There is no GOAT. Only what is the GOAT for you. That being said, it is the most best, most versatile in my mind. I have one but actually use a MPC Key 61 more. I may even use the One more than the Live II. Yet, the Live II is a treasure. The one I would own if I only could own one.

Yes, it is! I have both live 2 and X SE and i play more on the live 2 but mix on the X SE hooked up to my monitors
