In this series, I'll be playing through all 9 missions on "Brutal" difficulty while completing all mission objectives and unlocking all upgrades on every map, as fast as possible.

In GGG's speedrun video, he said that this was his favorite final mission because you couldn't cheese the objective - I had to take that as a challenge 😉

You wouldn't think a Liberator would fit inside the Xanthos but here we are.
That was fast, damn! Cracked the final mission.
Also the ending was really clever.
Nova: Are you prepared to go all the way Liberator?
Liberator: Yes, yes I'm prepared to go all the way, my good tigh suited ghost.
I literally spit my drink laughing when that liberator appeared out of nowhere. Can't remember the last time I did that, thanks for this. lol
Nova Covert Ops MP went pretty fast. But now I guess we should wait for a year for LotV campaign.
Cant wait for Stu speedrun the LotV campaign. It have the most interesting campaign

Valerian would be the first politician I would actually trust. He's actually genuine trying to better the Dominion and return moral compass to the institution of the head honcho (since Mensk, the Confederacy and the UED are pretty gnarly)

I mean, it's kinda obvious that you wanna destroy weakness as soon as possible, but I would never have thought of using a mind-controlled BCs for that .... that was very smart

I have a small request
Could you eventually speedrun Welcome to the Jungle; Phantoms of the Void; Conviction, along with this mission (due to Liberator thing) without glitches to combine the vods in a glitchless run?
I really love watching you tear SC2 apart with pure skill and not having to rely on cheeze/bugs. Those 4 mossions are the only ones that come to mind where you used unintended glitches to win, which given your skill feels unnecessary.
Keep in mind that re-learning those levels would still be a ton of work 😉 I think the time would be better spent working on new videos!
Assuming a challenge runner of Stu's or Grant's level:
Welcome to the Jungle will probably add 5-10 minutes without the glitch (depending on when you've done it and the unlocked research), because you'll have to set up the bunker lines before you can capture multiple points at a time.
Phantoms of the Void would add 3 minutes because the third bonus is quite heavily defended (there's a Colossus there, and you don't have access to Burrow Charge yet).
Conviction would add 2-3 minutes when you have to clear normally (apart from the second door, the mission is only a time sink if you want to do it deathless or make use of the virophages).
Endgame would add 1 minute because of speech triggers.

Nice physics on the lib and general
For this last mission i took my time to prepare my défense and defend the gorgons and let the hyperion clean this path before i join him i always watch my base for the Ghost and the nukes he's drop
Defending all of the gorgons can be pretty hard in this one. I think the game maybe doesn't make it clear enough that you don't have to save all of them, which made this mission frustrating to a lot of players!
@@StuGames That's true, but having said that, in normal it's already complicated for me, but I managed like a boss. That's why I defended the Gorgons when Davis arrived to destroy them, which allowed me to gain as much time as possible to collect as many resources as possible and form an army capable of making a breakthrough with the help of the Hyperion and defend my base against the Ghosts, it's true that it's not necessary to protect them all I agree with you stu but at least one of them survives if there's one that's enough to finish the mission.
But i use all configuration for Nova Coop mission with all upgrades for Nova and this unités.

That's amazing. Not too complicated once everything is unravelled, but probably needs a ton of precision to execute. Do you use Yamato while the BC is teleporting, and then shift right click?
Yes, the first BC also yamato's one of the Vikings, this let's the four BC's survive for just long enough to defeat the first phase.

so did you get the worldrecord?
This beat the previous record by 4 minutes 16 seconds. The previous record builds battlecruiser themselves, I optimized the route to only use mind-controlled BCs. That makes it possible to defeat phase 1 before the Xanthos moves out for the first time, and it also gives me more resources to get more tanks to fight the Xanthos. Pulling the attack waves into Matt Horner's forces and the liberator trick are also new.
how did you push in two liberators inside xantos??

@@StuGames That's great to know, I quite enjoyed playing in the editor with the other missions and was sad I couldn't do so with Covert Ops.
having not played Nova Covert Ops, do you actually have a choice when taking on Davis or are you always going to kill her?
