  • Who doesn't want a great park day, am I right?!? Beech Mountain here we come!!!!
    We got out to Beech on opening weekend and let me just tell you
    how much fun our crew had!
    This weekend we watched each other step up and grow as riders
    which is one of favorite parts about this sport - We get to watch Alex
    tow in Ali to hit her biggest drop to date, then we get to watch our
    buddy Todd hit the road gap with steez, and I got more comfortable
    with jumps and cleared a heady table top at the bottom of the trails I was reluctant on at first.
    Does it get any better than that? And on top of that Ali and I are
    kicking off a mountain biking vacation!!!
    Beech has a great atmosphere and a little something for everyone. Green Mamba trail is great for someone's first time riding park or as a nice warm up, Black Bear is great for someone wanting to step up their tech game, Bermese Python will dial in your cornering and Cane Break is sendier than next day air.
    We can't wait to get back here personally and hopefully we will see
    some of you there!

      I suggest investing in a GoPro! Yes they are expensive but they are DEFINITELY worth it!!! Me and my brother just bought a hero 9 black and it's so awesome having your own footage to show people.

    Nice video. I’m a fan of Beech, but enjoy Sugar Mountain a little more. Just down the road from Beech. It’s more like single track with a better lift system and zero pedaling. The runs feels longer and faster to me.

    • @SemiSendy
      @SemiSendy  4 роки тому

      Big B this is what I wanted to hear. Sugar was closed this particular weekend. I’ve been super curious what sugar is like, and that sounds like exactly what we love.

    Do you think a trail bike would ride well here ? 130/130 bike

    • @SemiSendy
      @SemiSendy  2 роки тому +1

      Hey Chris, that's a tough one to answer since it really depends on the rider, but I'm of the opinion that a 130 bike can absolutely be a blast at Beech. Most modern 130's have a decently slack geometry and that travel is plenty for sure. Bikes like the Fuel, Tallboy, Stumpy, etc. would all handle the mountain very well.

    I found beech underwhelming. All the trails are short, and you make it to the bottom in the blink of an eye

      Not sure what their pricing will be this season. Probably somewhere in the $40-$50 range, but you can check on their website once they open up for 2023.

    What is your definition of semi sendy because...

    • @SemiSendy
      @SemiSendy  4 роки тому +1

      Haha! Well, when you're not actually sendy, but you've got the spirit! It's also a great reason not to fire up anything you're a bit scared of (I highly resemble this description).
