In some of their moves I can see (even if slight) overlap with Sudan, Eritrea, South Sudan, Somalia, Rwanda, Burundi, Djibouti, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda even if only subtlety. East African distant links💜 This was an amazing performance! Much love to our brothers and sisters in Ethiopia! 💜
@@kerubel1436 This is true. I am half Kenyan and half Black American. The dance move from the 90's called the "Roger Rabbit" 🐰 looks similar to one of the moves on this video..... except on the video they are kicking their legs a little more forcefully 😆 😂
Such control! My goodness I was really entertained!! The instruments and how long it took them to learn how toplay them! Very unique style of singing! Love how they pop their shoulders too heck just love it all✨✨
African Tigress: Thanks you so much for this new remarkable video today’s from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia this week in March of 2023.These people are great dancers in Ethiopia 2023❤❤❤
Wow, glad you’re back African Tigress. This dance is something else, I wish I knew the stories behind each dance. Huge culture the dance is amazing. God bless
Oh my God, these are great traditional dancers with lots of gymnastics and I believe they are good for weight control. Though the ones involving vigorous shaking of head and neck may eventually cause neurological & bone complications! Thank you for sharing.
I have never seen such energy in one house. What about in the whole country awesome..Even our JP will surrender this is too much its like they are posessed..Enough respect to them so beautiful and handsome..Thank you for sharing this is dignity in night life l love it.. Africa to the world guys..❤️❤️❤️👍✅️👌🙏
Thanks , this was by far the best closeup Ethiopian music I ever heard on UA-cam,. It felt as though I was sitting right there, great job beautiful Tigress 👍
The word crazy can be used as slang to mean exciting, elite, top notch or extra ordinary. its the same as the word Sick, like bro your suit is sick simply meaning your suit is super good. Educate your mind thank you

It probably is ritualistic and is supposed to let in or worship a spirit. Also their ethnicity or culture has nothing to do with it. These new dances also conjure spirits and stuff. The whip and Ney ney was a baphomet dance and that's why guys looked effeminate doing it.

Incroyable ont dirait qu ils sont possédé! d'ailleurs aux Maroc les femmes font pareil des danses assez particulières! Mais c est leurs tradition!

I just stumbled across this videos and I love the way these ladies were dancing😂
Love their traditional clothes I got some of their beautiful clothing😊
Excellent video lady Tigress
This dance is not generally accepted standards of decent Abyssinian dances. Happy Easter.
They don’t feel dizziness shaking their heads like that?
My question too
After 10 years you will see them begging for money to be treated in india
