- Spent a month working on this really fun arrangment by lattice from one of my favourite tracks from Undertale, its very enjoyable to play although the left hand can be very taxing staminawise
Encouraging to see someone else play one of latices tunes, I'm learning spider dance right now so seeing you play gives me determination. Good job!!
Its really good fun once you got it down, put in the time to get the technique right tho as they have p specific requirements sometimes, you got this!!!
Thanks mate!! 😊👍
@@gizmo3702 Good luck!
Trying spider dance too! Got the first two measures.
Yes for using the word "determination" on a video featuring a piano cover for undertale ✨✨
omg, i Didn't know that someone could play like a latice, good job
Thanks! I dont think im quite there but i get the impression she gives her covers time for her level of polish.
yeah there is alot of piano youtuber that is good but isn't popular like xiao andy and this channel
@duck I can imagine that making stuff really tough, I'd suggest getting really confident with spreading chords as I've seen people getting that to be really convincing!
Can you tell me what you think about my version? :D
This is amazing!! Undertale songs are super difficult on piano, currently trying to learn Spear of Justice, and possibly failing miserably. Well done on playing this beast of a piece!
thanks, glad you enjoyed it! Good luck with spear of justice, I'm sure you can do it!
Hey wonder how ur doin with spear of justice? Its been 6 months and im quite curious
@@buddyowl ive lost a lot of interest in playing piano, so i havent gotten very far. i might pick it up again soon though!
Anything new?
I freaking love spear of justice.
Praise youtube algorithm
So this is how it feels to be UA-cam algorithmed?
@@Alex-ri7ue yes
Exactly!!

This is the best death by glamour I have heard on piano you got some great skill keep it up!!!
Thanks man, really glad you enjoyed it!
this is indeed such a wonderful piece as well as the cover
Yeah, super catchy hahaha
By any chance is this arrangement by someone who goes by the name "Lattice". Bravo Its very good! 👍
Yeah, thats why I put the little arr lattice in brackets, glad you enjoyed it!
this is amazing !! you did a great job- i’ve been trying to play this song for ages.
Thanks! And I'm sure you'll get there if you stick with it, just spend lots of tjme wjth the left hand very slowly
For some reason at 1:04 - 1:24 my heart just remembers why I love piano and how much I want learn it, I really need to stop being a procrastinator.
Great to hear you enjoyed it, when I struggle with procrastination i try to break the cycle by timetabling it, or setting goals, ik fairly generic advice but if it helps I'm happy i could!
@@Alex-ri7ue ♥️ I’ll try it!
@@chlozentimes id reccomend to start simple, learn scales, arpeggios, basic theory etc, it'll help you a ton as being able to understand how music works will make it easier to learn and get down, start easy repetoirewise and slowly build up, i often burn out on pieces really quickly so its good to pick ones within your range which wont take months to learn unless you know you can put in the work
@@Alex-ri7ue Wow, Thank you for being so helpful! I’m currently learning more about music now since I am in a choir class. Learning slowly the scales, music staffs, how to read music, and I got a piano recently for when I know enough. Though I think it wouldn’t hurt to learn a tiny song like twinkle twinkle little star.
@@chlozentimes nws, im always glad to help if i can, its good you're working on theory, might be good to be a bit more ambitious than twinkle twinkle little star if you want, maybe some simple pop or anime songs prolly wouldn't go amiss or some really simple bach, bach is great for technique, if its your first piece prolly good to start simple tho
wow! you nailed it! I'd love to be able to play the piano some day~
you're doing awesome! I'll have to stick around this channel~
Glad you liked it! Im sure if you practice consistently and play stuff you like you'll make it in a few years! Thanks for sticking around, i injured my hands so there hasn't been much recently but im working around the limitation and working on stuff which should hopefully be up soon
めっちゃかっこいい
i'll come back when it's gonna be famous
when will it be famous, 7 years? 7 days?
@Sharky mhm
3 years. Aka now.
0:52 perfection
i love the beatifiul variation you put on the ending, like a real musisian not reading directly from the sheets epic cover bro
Thanks! Glad you liked it as a lot more effort went into that than youd think as i tried to copy the version of that run in toby foxs orignal
@@Alex-ri7ue how did you learn this btw 😳
@@jackthecommenter2768 a month of splitting the piece into sections and practicing each one daily, it seems overwhelming at first but its surprising how much you can do in a short amount if time with this method!
I love it lots! :D I hope you do more arrangements lattice made ^.^
Thanks, I might give more a try after i recover from hand injury
That was good!
I liked that!
Glad you enjoyed it!
incredible performance. :)
Just in case your teacher isn't already drilling you for this, you gotta loosen up man. Very good attempt!
Yeah, that's my current goal, playing virtuosic stuffs fun until you get injured and now im on the long road to recovery
@@Alex-ri7ue how long is this road to recovery? I started lattice's spider dance arrangement and got to about 70% completion but really injured my wrists in the process, I've taken a 2 month break so far and they still kinda hurt and I'm curious how much longer I'll have to wait before i can play safely again. :/
@@AldenJohnson honestly im not quite sure as im still recovering, i can play most stuff at this point so im practicing sightreading but i still cant play the virtuosic stuff i used to, i guess it can be a good opportunity to play stuff at lower levels and enjoy composers I wouldn't normally, i used to be uninterested in mozart but because of the injury i played some and its really good fun!
So id just keep taking it easy and enjoy what you can as im sure It'll recover but it might not if you push yourself again. Defo stop the session at the first sign of pain. I hope you recover soon!
YO WHAT THE HELL THIS GUY IS FIRE 🔥
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
Holy shit!! This is awesome and impressive as hell ! I cant imagine how much you practiced... Also, I noticed you getting tired by the end and i relate so hard to that 😭 insane
thank you, glad you enjoyed it! its a really exhausting piece but that's mostly down to my technique not being the best, I think if I practiced it more it would have been a lot more relaxed, but I used to always rush pieces like this lol
Nice
thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
Rozzářil jsi mi den, Sašo. Chtěla bych, aby mi mozek fungoval stejně dobře jako Tobě ruce 😀
Yeah!
Yeah!
AMAZING!!
Thanks!
I got this in my recommended pretty cool

THANKS!
broo thats amazing
Thanks!

Thanks!
handsome!!!! brilliantly played
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
This sounds great! How many years have you been learning piano?
Thanks, glad you liked it! I started piano at around 5 years old and I’ve been playing for about 15 years but I only got serious 7 years ago
@@Alex-ri7ue Shit, thats a long ass time :D
@@degrind6496 You can defo get a lot further a lot quicker though, I wouldn't let that time be intimidating tho as I have friends whose skill is way beyond mine and they've progressed so much more than me in so much less time, it's all down to the individual and how smart they practice!
Lyrics:
Dumb dumb dumb dumb, du, d d du dumb x69
Pretty much
Wow thats amazing!!. Do you have the partitures?
Hi, glad you enjoyed it! What do you mean by partitures?
Hey learning this for piano too right now - really enjoyed your performance of it, subbed!
Thanks! Good luck with your version!
Amazing. I can only wish I could do that
Practice enough and im sure you'll make it!
HOLY SHIET
Some JOJO vibes here
*You tell Mettaton that you won't miss any notes at ALL.
*Ratings will gradually increase during your turn!
I definitely got a lot of wrong notes but I'm glad it wasn't too clear!! (hopefully mettaton will forgive me)

@@wolffire8819 glad you enjoyed it!
hi! i would love to play this song, but for me it says the sheet music is closed on the original video. could someone put a link to it please? (btw, this video is amazing :))
Hi, glad you enjoyed the video, im sorry but ive lost the remade score i wrote of this (which i wrote as i struggled to read lattices) but lattice responds to emails so maybe you could ask her, im sure she'd be happy to help!
@@Alex-ri7ue thank you
@@londyonehundy nws, i wish you luck getting the score as its a great time once you get the notes down!
epic
Thanks!
amazing
Thanks, glad you liked it!
nice!
Thanks!
How tf
Consistent random practice (and also play lots of pieces with left hand ragtime movement)
Comment here before this video gets famous
Doubt theres much danger of that but thanks for believing!
How does one arrange a piano
p sure you just like put it somewhere where it looks nice
@@Alex-ri7ue I meant as in what method did Lattice use to arrange this piece so well?
@@mandarinskin3952 ah, her style is generally revolved around stride or ragtime style in the left hand which emulates the drum beat and intuitively playing the different voices of the track, to get an authentic feel
better than the original arrangement
Doesnt have near that amount of polish but I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Seeing the impossible. it fills you with determination. Darlings...definetly not a pun-isment...heh
It’s awkward and tough on the left hand but definitely not impossible, I’m sure you can do it and prove mettaton wrong!
@@Alex-ri7ue yeah, actually...I learned only the 4 notes ok the start, am definetly not a pro 😂
You may do a video how to learn the piano 😀
do you have the midi?
Sorry, i dont use midi, but lattice has the sheet music on her video!
knowing that alex will ❤ my comment im filled with determination
And there it is
How did you learn this in a month?
Special learning method a friend showed me, you split the piece into sections and you drill every section at once from practice day one, its tough at first but it means you learn the whole piece at once and its very fast, spent a few weeks just on polishing actually!
Nice job although some parts are a bit wrong
Yea ik, kinda regret rushing the learn considering the vid was well received
That's AMAZING. I'm doing similar stuff on my YT channel of Undertale songs. A couple are Lattice arrangements.
Thanks, and good job on giving them a try!
Oh wow 3k views 0 dislikes
Lol that surprised me too for how much i rushed learning this, might try again in the future but more polished
Some parts felt a little off, but honestly great performance for such a difficlut song
thanks! and yeah I agree, spent a little under a month on this as I was doing some speed learning challenges but in hindsight more time spent with it would defo have been wise
Why is it so hard?It is harder than moonlight sonata 3 rd movement(
I wouldn't say its harder, they're two very different pieces with completely different difficulties and styles, the challenges here are more related to left hand stamina and stride jumps, and I'd actually say musically moonlight sonata is a lot harder to make sound clean, guess it depends on your skillset
where did you get notes ?
Or did you find any tutorial ?
Oh iirc lattice puts scores in all her descriptions! But since it was a bit fiddly to read i rewrote it a little in Sibelius. Im sorry I can't share said rewrite as my files got deleted as i moved them on an sd card somehow, either way almost all her covers have attached pdfs so hopefully you can get access to that!
@@Alex-ri7ue ok thank you so much
HE COPIED FROM LATTICE
Yep, i learned lattices cover, that's why the title says (arr lattice)
You’re rushing. Use a metronome
I practice almost exclusively with a metronome but coulda definitely given this a few more months, thanks for your honesty!
Three words. How the fuck.
three words. slow metronome practice!
Nice
Thanks!
