oh Defending Your Life is so great. His other film that I really like is Real Life. Perfect Days I did get to see in theaters. Very good movie. Something I feel like would get better with each view.
@@STEVEHEROLD yes, Defending Your Life is extremely entertaining and I loved seeing the CD Longboxes again. Perfect Days may get better the next time I watch it. The way that he broke the 4th Wall at the end tells me that it may have been on purpose earlier in the movie.
@STEVEHEROLD It's a minimalistic movie. Don't expect great acting but it really captures the freedom and "zeitgeist" of the time within car culture. I was young but I can vaguely remember my older brother fitting into that culture like a hand in a driving glove.
Every time they have this sale, on the first day, all the titles that I've been waiting to purchase disappear. Miraculously, the day after the the sale ends, all of a sudden all the titles I wanted are back on the shelves. They ain't fooling anybody.
@@EddieJazzFan they’re hiding them from you. 😂 I know sometimes I have had to order some from Barnes & Noble’s site because none of the stores in my area have them and every now and again I’ll go to Amazon when they’re price matching B&N.

I picked up Defending Your Life. It's one of my favorites, so happy to finally own it. I also got Crash, Blow Out, Cure, The Others, and Paris Texis.
@@Dmfriend26 that’s very cool, Cure is the only one from your pickups that I haven’t purchased yet but it’s on my list.
I just picked up "Two-Lane Blacktop" from Criterion.
i need to rewatch that. i really remember thinking i’d like it more than i did.
