Camera Cubes really do need to be as exceptional as possible. Alpaka makes a great backpack and an acceptable and well padded camera cube.

I know they say its 35L, but the bag seems small enough to be a functional EDC bag, but also large enough for travel. How do you feel about the bag as an EDC?

It's good! But I feel like its jsut a bit heavy as an EDC for me. Theres so many zippers / features / straps, that makes the bag a bit too much for me. As an EDC, I prefer something a bit simpler and lighter!

The hub system seems like wasted weight for little reward. 😢 Also four pen style slots is way too many. If they ditched all the pen slots, all the hub loops in the main compartment and thinned out the laptop compartment to add volume to the main compartment then it would be perfect.

Did you have any problems with the product arriving damaged due to their shipping method of shipping the backpack in thin plastic bags? Any damages to the bottom padded foam?

Hi at @DesyCheng I have the North Face Recon 2021/2022 and I love it. It does all that I need and with my OCD I have it set to my daily task`s. I saw a video for the Air Pack 3 and now I have seen this bag. Pack Hacker has a review of this bag, which I shall check. Would you be able to offer your take of the Alpaka Elements Travel Vs Air Pack 3 bag. Then would any of these be able to equal my North Face Recon or beat the recon.

So with the Alpaka and Aer bags, they are a bit denser. they have a bit more going on with them so the bag itself is going to be heavier. If you are traveling around, hiking, I prefer to go lightweight.
I don't like the straps of the north face.
The alpaka is a bit long and tall for my body.
Aer might be the best fit for my body, but its not good to go hiking in

    Good review!
However, after hearing how Alpaka treats warranty claims from existing customers, I will not be buying anything from them.
I much prefer companies with a track record of a high commitment to it's customers like Evergoods. Love my CTB35 though its price point is higher than Alpaka's.

Where did you hear that? It seems impossible to me to find any other company than osprey having no issues with that. Every other company has at least 1 or 2 people giving 1 star and complaining about a service issue. So I'm not sure if I should give something about that or not :D

I have both. If I only could have one, it would be the Alpacka.
