I dress modestly and find for me holes in jeans are fine as long as they dont go up too high or get wayyy to big. And I also find open toe shoes perfectly acceptable as modest! Thank you for this video on modest clothes! I am super passionate about modest being cute I appreciate it❤️❤️❤️

Modest outfits are very subjective. Some may see it as covering from head to toe. For others they may just want it past the knee. Everyone has their own definition, so trying to please everyone is impossible. You did absolutely amazing. Those that are thankful and willing will love it. Those that find a problem, can kiss my- look somewhere else. ☺️❤️

Okay, I do feel like this is more modest but baggy doesn't necessarily equal modest for me. Personally, I just want less crop tops? It's not hot where I am and I'd freeze in a heart beat. Plus exposing the tummy is a no go for me. I love your looks most when you're giving us almost business casual? It tends towards more modest anyway, and you make it feel trendy, and young!
This was such a great video! I think modest for me isn’t necessarily about wearing baggy/oversized clothes but just longer hems and less cleavage, no tummy showing. I actually replicate a lot of your mini skirt and crop top outfits but I use midi skirts and longer tops to tuck into the skirts 😊

Thank you! I don’t really have to wear modest clothing for any religious reason but I feel way more comfortable when things are more covered up. So for me things like ripped jeans or open toe heels doesn’t really matter. I’d really support you making more of these videos, or at least styling with less crop top/ mini skirt type of clothes 😄
I’d say you did pretty well! Most of these look hijabi friendly! The only item that isn’t was the California t-shirt, but you can always wear a long sleeve under it, plus it was another option that you gave to begin with! Good job girl 👏🏽👏🏽
As a modest fashion creator myself you killed this and thank you for giving us Modest girlies some great styles to try! For me modesty means covered shoulders, stomach, and nothing shorter than my knees. Baggy clothes and open toed shoes are totally cool! 👌
I really think people misinterpret modest fashion. It doesnt just mean covering from head to toe (although many also do like modesty due to religion) but its really for many who just feel like showing too much isnt them like me i have lonjas and i KNOW crop tops and mini skirts dont work for me. Its about looking fashionable and not having to "pull down my clothing" that is risky and making you feel much safer.
Even though I'm no longer Muslim, I love the way hijabi girls dress! They're always so chic, despite being modest. I prefer to still dress modestly, even though I don't have to anymore. I'm ok with showing skin below the knee, a bit of clavicle or shoulder, and my arms. But I'm not comfortable baring my chest, stomach, or back. However, I do think if you are baring one of those things, it's best to cover up everything else to keep it classy. Plus, office wear is always modest, so maybe this'll help you find even more inspo for modest-wear. Samantha Guerrero does a good job on her channel if you need any ideas :)
Modest doesn’t = Islam. You can dress classy and modest without it ever being associated with Islam or any other religion that promotes modesty for various reasons.

My usual rule is if I wear something revealing on top (like a crop top) I cover more on bottom (or vice versa). I usually only wear crop tops that end at my high waisted jeans or skirts also. As a hijabi, to me it means covering my arms, legs, and neck (and of course the headscarf/hijab, but I mean clothes in general). of course, everyone has their own preferences. It makes me extremely happy to know that you made a video where you incorporated modesty into your outfits, thank you!

Modest outfits for me are outfits that dont show too much skin, even the legs and arms, and are more to loose fittings, which shows less of our figure/bodyshape. Although I too, dress modestly, im not really sure if there is any shoes that define modest outfits. I usually just wear anything i feel like wearing, that includes open/close toed heels, sandal and just about anything. keep up the good work! I love ya~
GIRL YOU NAILED IT!!! 🥰👍🏻 Here's my personal story with modesty and the biggest lesson I learned if anyone cares to read: so many years ago I wanted to start dressing more modestly. I used to be a stripper so I was very comfortable showing my skin obviously but then I became a Christian and wasn't comfortable dressing that way anymore. I did research and read everything I could find on modesty and ended up wearing only dresses and skirts that hit the floor and even went as far as covering my hair. My husband was not very happy as I looked very frumpy and old lady like. So I kept struggling trying to find a way to look put together and beautiful but yet modest at the same time. Unfortunately there's not a whole lot of videos or inspiration out there that is both modest and cute. ( Until this video was made! 😉) Anyway, the struggle was real for many years and I finally came to this conclusion... I personally don't feel anymore that modesty is following a set of rules such as you can't show your collarbone, skirts must come past your knees, you can't show your arms, nothing tight and so on. I think what truly modesty means is the overall look when you're done putting the outfit together. I asked myself when I'm done dressing: does this look invoke sexual thoughts in the opposite sex? Do I look like I'm trying to attract attention? Would I be embarrassed to meet with someone of importance wearing this outfit? And I feel like if you could answer no to all those questions then you've hit the mark of modesty. Also, you should check to make sure that you can make any movement and not have to worry about your butt cheeks popping out or a breast falling out and so on. Then your good to go. Lol And as a side note, I also noticed when I started dressing modestly that I was treated with SO much more respect by everybody. It was quite amazing the difference it made. Thank you again for all the time and effort You put into creating this video and I'm looking forward to more in the future! This video would have been so helpful back when I started my journey especially when it came to trying to help my teenage daughter trying to dress modestly and yet still fit in at school. This was so fun, I’m glad you did this! For me, modest means covering from your shoulders to the mid thighs. I wouldn’t wear a crop top, but I would be comfortable wearing a shorter skirt if I wore tights underneath, I’m also comfortable with tighter fitting clothing. Open toed shoes are fine, but shirts should reach the edge of your shoulder (no tank tops or spaghetti straps). What’s most important is that you feel confident and beautiful, which is different for everyone! I dress modestly for religious reasons, and different religions have different guidelines, but we all want to be well dressed!! ❤️
I'm on my modest girly era since I'm actually being serious about being a Christian. I do love an open shoe, as long as I'm well covered up and don't bring attention to my boobs or butt it's good for me. I would definitely wear all of these outfits and ofc add my own style to them since I'm more edgy 😂 i don't wear pink that much but i do love a green or a baby blue moment when I'm feeling dainty.

I think modest outfits are also more on the "elegant" and "chic" side, now is trending the "old money" style and I think is very modest. The essence is not to cover everything but to balance it, like if you wear a skirt showing the legs you would use something more modest in the top part and vice versa, or balancing the fit, like a bulk blouse with skinny pants with not everything skinny it's automatic more elegant...

For me, modest means covering from your shoulders to the mid thighs. I wouldn’t wear a crop top, but I would be comfortable wearing a shorter skirt if I wore tights underneath, I’m also comfortable with tighter fitting clothing. Open toed shoes are fine, but shirts should reach the edge of your shoulder (no tank tops or spaghetti straps).
What’s most important is that you feel confident and beautiful, which is different for everyone!
I dress modestly for religious reasons, and different religions have different guidelines, but we all want to be well dressed!! ❤️

I'm on my modest girly era since I'm actually being serious about being a Christian. I do love an open shoe, as long as I'm well covered up and don't bring attention to my boobs or butt it's good for me. I would definitely wear all of these outfits and ofc add my own style to them since I'm more edgy 😂 i don't wear pink that much but i do love a green or a baby blue moment when I'm feeling dainty.

I think modest outfits are also more on the "elegant" and "chic" side, now is trending the "old money" style and I think is very modest. The essence is not to cover everything but to balance it, like if you wear a skirt showing the legs you would use something more modest in the top part and vice versa, or balancing the fit, like a bulk blouse with skinny pants with not everything skinny it's automatic more elegant...
