Congrats on that fantastic bronze figurine. Finds like that make us poor Swedes jealous as we are still months away from getting a spade in the ground. It is frozen solid after weeks of -20 to -25C. It’ll be late March/early April at least before the ground starts thawing. Cheers, Patrik

@@HOPEUSMAXIMUS clay that sticks to your spade, best I could think of treacle, I'm often deterred by that since it's less likely to have been cultivated previously. Here they marled the fields to reduce stickage, and lighten their burden

Hi, I think not as there are Roman figurine that have numerous similarities to this one and this was found on land with roman sites close by. A roman expert has also stated it is roman. Thanks for watching and the comment. Keith
