I want to say thank you for putting these bible stories here on UA-cam, I have had a lot of trouble sleeping right after my husband past away 1year and 4 months because I have so much on my mind now the loss of him , making sure I have money to pay bills , and a lot of other things but the biggest is the loss of mike . I have tried other ways to fall asleep but nothing seem to work when I had come across this two nights ago I have actually sleep the whole night I even listen to it in the day when I had a bad & long day at work and just want to rest for a bit it calms me down so I’m not as irritated or upset so thank you again in gods name Amen 🙏

I wrote a comment on how this Abide Meditaation was my favorite.However, as the video goes on when the story slows down, the interval of time between the man’s voice saying just a minimal number of words are to long and that kept me waiting for him to begin again. I so love the story method, enjoyed the prayers, so I hope you will consider this as I can’t use this now.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I lost my faith in jesus after my husbands suicide and the loss of my baby , and many other really bad things out of my control happened that put me into a very bad mental health crisis. I've always been a good person, my heart was full of love. But now I feel no love or joy. I'm trying my best to get back my faith and Thankyou for these readings. based on some of these post I must be missing something because I thought it was great and the "permission to fall asleep" I actually found that comforting can't please everyone.
I have suffered over 20 yrs w/ insomnia sometime going 48-72 straight hours w/No sleep! God is helping me through these type APPS I sleep w/ Light Rain/Soft Thunder on my/ TV… and listen on iPhone to scripture like these. I’d love to hear just like Bible Stories adding scriptures in / I am grateful for these but he is speaking to slow for me!! True story. I've been battling strep throat for weeks, which is a painful infection in the throat. I got it right after listening to the long overnight stories of a hoodoo priestess. It was so relaxing to imagine her stories in my head as i fall asleep, so i listened for about two nights, then BOOM, strep throat. A couple weeks go by and im starting to get better and my throat isn't swelling so much, so i think, "Hey, i could use some good rest again, let me listen to her tonight." so i did. 4 o'clock AM on the dot the smoke alarm goes off for no reason, waking me up, which I've been in my place for almost a year and its never done that. Also, my throat starts to get worse again and im coughing even worse now. I told my boyfriend that i listen to her because shes the only person on UA-cam, that i know of, who has interesting stories longer than 1 hour (cause it takes me longer than an hour to fall asleep). He said "Stop listening to her, cause im getting sick too." I said ok, scrolled down the UA-cam feed and found this 3 hour video of story telling from the bible. Its one hour longer than the hoodoo ladies and its safe to listen to. See how Jesus works? Plus i know better than to be listening to a hoodoo woman. So Jesus just taught me a lesson. Once you belong to him, noone else can have you. No matter how hard they...or you try. Thank you Jesus.

All of our walks are tailored to us. So, you may find my story unrelated to Jesus, but thats because it wasn't for you, it was for me. It was tailored to fit into my life for a reason. Why does the narrator say they were teaching that “the dead would NOT come back to life through JESUS” starting at about 6:52? Peter and John taught about the resurrection from the dead through JESUS… just curious if I’m the only who heard the same and why this wasn’t corrected by Abide?

True story. I've been battling strep throat for weeks, which is a painful infection in the throat. I got it right after listening to the long overnight stories of a hoodoo priestess. It was so relaxing to imagine her stories in my head as i fall asleep, so i listened for about two nights, then BOOM, strep throat. A couple weeks go by and im starting to get better and my throat isn't swelling so much, so i think, "Hey, i could use some good rest again, let me listen to her tonight." so i did. 4 o'clock AM on the dot the smoke alarm goes off for no reason, waking me up, which I've been in my place for almost a year and its never done that. Also, my throat starts to get worse again and im coughing even worse now. I told my boyfriend that i listen to her because shes the only person on UA-cam, that i know of, who has interesting stories longer than 1 hour (cause it takes me longer than an hour to fall asleep). He said "Stop listening to her, cause im getting sick too." I said ok, scrolled down the UA-cam feed and found this 3 hour video of story telling from the bible. Its one hour longer than the hoodoo ladies and its safe to listen to. See how Jesus works? Plus i know better than to be listening to a hoodoo woman. So Jesus just taught me a lesson. Once you belong to him, noone else can have you. No matter how hard they...or you try. Thank you Jesus.

@Slippery Storm Im on my own walk with Jesus, so he may do things in my life that others find stupid or unnecessary, but its only for me to understand, not anyone else, you know? All of our walks are tailored to us. So, you may find my story unrelated to Jesus, but thats because it wasn't for you, it was for me. It was tailored to fit into my life for a reason. Mybad for the lonnnng reply lol.

Why does the narrator say they were teaching that “the dead would NOT come back to life through JESUS” starting at about 6:52? Peter and John taught about the resurrection from the dead through JESUS… just curious if I’m the only who heard the same and why this wasn’t corrected by Abide?
