I love your videos. They're very entertaining. I may never visit those places, but watching it is more than enough to make me smile. I also adore your makeup look. Do you have any plans with doing makeup tutorials?
@@mojyoqueen350 Thank you so much !! I am really happy you enjoyed it. 🥹💕 I used to do make-up tutorials before on my channel so maybe I'll revisit it. 😁
Your make-up is once again totally on point, mon amie. Very nice!! I cannot stop staring at your face. You should do that make-up more often. So nice. The food looked interesting. Though honestly when you brought up Anglo-Saxon tea culture, I had presumed that "afternoon tea" was even older then the 1840's or so? 🍵🤔Guess it always fascinated me somewhat since my surname is Middleton and my ancestors mostly come from England, Scotland & Wales (with some Austrian in there as well). The dessert looked interesting. Especially the first layer of the servings. Regardless it is so interesting that Japan takes to Halloween activities, period. I'm a North American so alas I'm used to it here, but I sometimes wonder what other faraway lands think about Halloween? In France I heard that when it was introduced in the early '2000s it didn't take too much and deemed as "too Americanized" or something? Interesting if so! Je vous souhaite un joyeux Halloween. 👻🎃🕸
@@He_Loves_Horror Thank you so much ! I really liked this make-up but I still have more experiments to do 😁 and I am honestly afraid of running out of my red eyeshadows cause I am using it so much 🤣🤣 From my research they could confirm its existence from 1840's but it could have been an older custom. I adore Halloween and I am so happy that Japan has so much Halloween themed events, food ... Unfortunately in France it used to be a lil popular but nowadays there's barely any child trick or treating and decorations in shops are almost inexistant. It's actually quite surprising that it is seen as americanized when at the base it literally comes from Celtic culture. 🤣 Actually I think I should do more research and learn more about the origins of Halloween from Samhain.🤔
You're welcomed my good friend! Oui, keep on experimenting! I cannot think of anybody that I talk to right now with quite your look. So if I were you I would keep it. Looks unique to the contours of your face. Very cool 😎I was also wondering how old the custom was, but I believe you're correct so no worries there. Same here! Halloween has a "unique smell in the air" and a sort of 'feeling' to it. Think Christmas of course but also total opposite. I need to research more into Japan & as to what they think of it? Oui I am the same my friend. Alas I wonder why France (the land of the Gauls as we know, which always fascinated me) isn't super into it?🤔Speaking of your homeland: I wonder what is the most popular foreign culture for them to think about? Perhaps a neighbor that also speaks a latin/romance language? Such as Spain (Espana) right next door, or Italia (Italy)? Indeed!! Finally someone understands that Halloween was originally a Celtic holiday celebrated in what is now ancient Northern Ireland. It (more or less) is believed to derive from early oddball celebrations of ancient Fall/Autumn Festivals in Ireland & Scotland. So oui, very Celtic. The next day, November the 1st as we all now, is All Saints Day. I was raised Catholic (my mother's faith) so I remembered early late '90s internet researching of things & events. I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun on October 31st now. As per always I'll watch my beloved horror films on Blu-ray on my home cinema system and I'll dool out the sweets (candy) to any Trick Or Treaters that I get. For a quickie documentary on the holiday, I suggest here that you type in "History of the Holidays: Halloween | History" and enjoy. By the way I've truly been enjoying our conversations. Au revoir pour l'instant ! 🦇🖤🖤🕸🎃
@@He_Loves_Horror Thank you so much !! I am happy to hear it ! I'll keep on experimenting! 😊 Yes, exactly though I love both the Halloween and Christmas smell in the air. Never against the vibe of gingerbread, hot cocoa with whipped cream under a blanket watching a cozy movie that you know is gonna end happily is quite soothing to my mind. Actually I would say the most popular foreign culture in France would be the US but only in the more mainstream sides. Mainstream in France is very hermetic to anything inclined in darker or crazier aesthetics. They're unfortunately tending to gravitate towards sad beige aesthetics and like Ikea showroom vibes. I surely feel like I wanna know more about ancient traditions. I have not watched it yet but I surely need to take a look at the documentary you recommended to me. I did make some cutesy food like marshmallow spider web on brownies. 😊 And I watched a french youtuber doing an exploration of a haunted place. I hope you had a nice Halloween too ! I also really enjoy our conversations. 😊🦇
You're more than welcomed my good friend! It's all cool. Yes, it is also almost Christmas now so I'm goin' to be a happy lad as well, once again. Oh oui indeed: Watching a nice movie, all cozy and warm with some hot cocoa is indeed also very a warm thought & feeling as well. We're quite similar there!☺Hmm very interesting that American culture is on the rise over the decades in France. I've heard of similar things as well. I also heard that sometimes Gothic sub culture people, even in open minded mainland Europe, can be picked on or teased in public. That is very sad as I pretty much live in all black clothing year 'round. Oh do take your time. Also check out the right sidebar suggestions as there are also nice/similar documentaries about Halloween/Samhain as well! Am interesting to know of what you thought of them, over time.🤔👍 Oh nice!! So awesome! So what is that French UA-camr's name? Was curious. Frenchtastic Explorations is my current favorite. She has hearted several of my comments. So surreal how she just plain _LOVED_ my home state of Tennessee. No, it fascinates me! It's so oddly cool. Oui, I've also been enjoying our conversations here. Holler at me any time, as we say in my region of the United States. I've really been enjoying these posts. Acclamations!!! 🦇🖤🕸🎃
