    For what? For what I do this? I've reached my burnout and now i stand from the bottom of my hill. It's hard and painful not wanting to climb anymore, to lose all your will. Sometimes Sisiyphus can feel tired

    Those chords are the sound of my soul being torn apart by the constant and numbing routinary lifestyle I have fallen victim to. I honestly feel my life is a purgatory for all the opportunities I have left behind, and like Sisyphus I am forced to repeat the same motions every day, being slowly driven isane, thinking of how differents things could have been...

    This might sound strange but this song makes me think of…someone being visited by the ghost of a loved one that took their own life. They express the pain that they were going through and how they felt like they had no other choice, because they just wanted to stop hurting. Now that they are in the beyond, they still feel the same but it’s compounded by the pain and suffering their passing has caused others and is now trapped in their own regret and self-loathing forever 😢

    I was trying to play this on guitar when I quickly realized its not possible. The entire song is in A~467-472 hertz, while standard A is at 440, and standard A# is at 493.
    The song is so damn spooky, like sounds that you're never heard a guitar make before... *because its sounds you probably haven't heard a guitar make before*.
    Daft punk did a similar tactic with "One More Time", which is about 5 hz down (A~582 instead of 587.33). It's not much but it makes the whole song sound alien.

    • @blaket3464
      @blaket3464 6 років тому +18

      Ehhh, you're kinda talking out your ass. He's singing relative to the guitar, the bass is either tuned to the same, or too far distorted/in the low end to notice. If the guitar is in tune with itself (which it clearly is) then it's only going to sound weird if you're playing along with it.
      Try playing along to Nebraska by Springsteen, or listen to the movie cut of Moon River. Those songs are out of tune, but in-tune relative to themselves so it's fine.
      You're playing up what is simply a very good and well made spooky atmosphere and spooky guitar sound. The tuning is not what makes the song sound alien, that's just their artistry and songwriting/recording sensibilities.

      Depends on the song maybe? Both hanl and deftones take heavy influence from shoegaze so maybe that's it

      A different angle for the Death of Marat really interesting considering it is almost a 90 degree from the Ingres version. The album, oh yeah Aidan, a beautiful imagination and realization, thanks bro.
