Should I shoot more night povs with the Sony A6400? 🤔
Yes please, definitely 🙂
How is the 85mm on a crop body actually? It's really tight for most street shots I think. For the shots you took it could be great, but I think I'd prefer a 105mm. Thoughts?
YES PLEASE, I use Sony a6600 and I love seeing ur apsc videos and KNOWING whats achievable with the specs I have
Yes
Definitely should. Buying the Sony A6300 tomorrow to used with my A74. Need something small to carry with me around London when out and about.
The landscape tram reflection shot was killer!
Ayyy thanks dude! 🤙
What I love about you from all your POVs, is that you managed to find a good subject or a scene to photograph very quickly. And it turns out amazing on the photo. I am a beginner and I would have just wander aimlessly around the same spot looking for something nice to capture when you could have had like 10 photos already.
Your editing skills are on another level🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
A lot of “photographers” used to complain about the apsc. They go like “ ohhh… apsc is not good enough for lowlight photography.” And then someone comes who doesn’t give a shit about it and takes brilliant pictures with it! Thanx for this video!
And it helps having f1.4 or f1.8 lens to pair with.
Thanks dude! I think it's often down to the person behind the camera and not always the gear!
Fullframe apsc it doesn't really matter in my opinion.
@@JudieneHelmsley 1.4 or 1.8 is always good if we have. But the most important is the skills. I saw unbelievable picture with Fuji xt4 with 10-24 f4 at night.
@@fraterlajos Yeah of course skill is the most expensive accessories you could have. I mean to have smaller fstop lenses, at least you have one less thing to worry about especially in post. I own a sigma 18-50mm f2.8 lens and most of the time I have problems with noise coz I bump up ISO too high. I'm a beginner btw.
@@CurtisPadley 100% agree. Nowadays people want to own better and better the latest and greatest gears but they don’t want to spend time to learn the techniques, the composition, or how to use the lights.
When I am watching your videos with the a6400 I always think you could take good pictures with a brick as well. Because as I see the gear is just a tool in your hand. And it’s always good to see how happy you are when you find the right composition and take the picture you wanted.
Keep up the good work! It’s really inspirational!
i just bought the sony a6400 as my first camera as well as your preset pack. i have been enjoying photography so much. thank you for sparking my interest!
That's awesome to hear mate! Hope your photography journey is going well! 🤙
Bro, like wtf? You bring out meaning to pictures man! This just 1 video of yours made me fall in love with a6400, i swear! Crazy shots bro, love the amazing edits as well! Great job man, blew my mind ngl! 🙌🏻🔥❤
This make me enjoy street Photography. Still learn.
Love those a6400 videos 🎉
Please do more A6400 night shoots!
One of the few good night POvs
Just ordered a A6400 from MPD and the Sigma 56mm f1.4 arrive today. I'm blaming you.....but in a good way, after seeing one of your other videos
Your street photography is truly captivating! Each shot tells a unique story. 👏🏻👏🏻
Very nice. My first taxable job was at a golf course located within Tahoe, Ca. and the morning dew would collect, then freeze just as the sun would rise, quickly melting & evaporating after; if I go back my camera goes with me.
Headset, Curti's videos = enjoy chill
Thanks dude glad you enjoyed it! 🤙
The 6400 seems to have quite nice noise!
Yes, please do!
Even though you shoot a bunch of trams I still love ya vids
Amazing shots as always pal, another great POV. Now I really want an 85mm and a 50mm for my new camera 😅 sony a6000 🎉
Thanks dude! I'm sorry I have tempted you! My recommendation get the 85 first 🤘
@@CurtisPadley thanks mate, I will definitely look into that 👍
If I keep watching your videos, I'll end up splashing the cash and buying the same setup eventually
seeing the title just makes me miss my A6000. Excited to watch this one bro, no doubt its full of bangers😎
Thanks mate! I'd like to try some of the older A6000 series of camera in the future! 🤙
Amazing, Lot of talent!
J'ai adoré mon Sony A6400.Super bon en vidéo aussi 4K Pas de problème a longue duré ☺😉
Your photos are amazing. You're a incredible photographer, happy new year
Thank you! Really appreciate it! 🤙
A6400 body only + this lens or the 6400 + kit lens. What is the better option?
Criminal you didn’t go find that saxophone player and get some sick pictures with the light off the instrument but great video
I love your channel hahaha even though I'm Brazilian I don't understand anything you're talking about, I love it!
Appreciate you checking out the video dude! 🤙
Love this one 3:59
Brilliant video, great post editing
Ayy thanks Tomash! 🤙
Wazz up Curtis? Incredible photo's killer reflection shots and amazing locations! 🔥 Brilliant POV! I think if you have an issue witht the gopro's dont buy a newer one just switch to the iphone 14 pro insted like the @northborders do. Better audio, amazing low light footage in ultra wide mode. You just need a neewer phone holder mount on your gopro cheast mount. Keep it up!!! 🤙
Thanks dude! I will be sticking to a gopro, even if I upgrade to a newer one. I don't do apple products. And an iPhone is like what £1500! Compared to £500 for latest model of gopro. I ain't made of money and that for me is not a smart investment. Thanks for suggestion though ✌️
Dude. Killer reflection shots. Love the trams. Do you boo 😂
Thanks mate! 🤙
love the tone,, that’s peeset or editing 😆 ,,
Hi.I have the same lens as yours (Sigma 85mm F1.4 + Sigma 35mm F1.4). Do you have suggestion what ND filter best used for landscape n portrait? might picking up 77mm size & using step up ring on 35mm
amazingggg
Enjoyed this video a lot!
Can you do another video with the same lens and camera shooting in daylight? Please
Peace!
Thanks! And yes I can 🤙

@@CurtisPadley oh sweet! Thank you!
Thank you for the video. Which do you think is the best camera for street night pov and amateur photography? Sony A6400 or Canon R50? Thank you for your time and help.
Same thought . What should be the best. Im choosing these both if which is good and best as well
@@gwapstv8534 I went for the Canon R50. It is the best camera for beginners.
Hi Curtis! THanks for the content it helped my partner and I choose to buy a 6400! With the sony 18-50 kit lens we tried some low light snaps... We couldnt get the shutter speed to anywhere near where you are in this video which made crisp snaps very tough. I'm assuming the issue is the higher f number on our lens? Would a low f number lens solve the issue? Is there a focal length to stay under to help as well or? Thanks!
Yea, try 1.8 or 1.4 it’ll def be an upgrade. If you have the funds for it 1.4 or 1.2 would probably be better from my understanding
Having a really hard time now, deciding between 56 MM and the 85 MM!
What are your fav lenses to use for Sony 6400 ?
as much 6400 content as possible please. helps me handle mine
Another great content 👌
Thanks a mil! 🤙
Hey Curtis, nice Video and great shots! I have one question, I recently bought an A6400 with a Sony E PZ 18-105. Im using following SD Card "SABRENT 128GB V90, SDXC Card UHS II". My problem is that even when i shoot one single photo the SD Card takes like 3-5 seconds to write the picture. My settings are RAW and 3:2... can you tell my why its writing so slow?
Gray videos you're making buddy. 🤜🤛
Thanks! 🤙
NICE POV!
Thanks mate! 🤙
a6400 or zve10 in October 2023 as my first camera to learn photography on? Please suggest!!! Thanks.
This video might help you out! 🙂

Sir! The way you took pictures is good but all hardness about editing the pictures in good quality style is a hardness to me
Excellent video, and excellent photos👏👏👏. Any camera settings you recommend for the a6400? thanks
Thanks dude! I can't recommend any camera settings because it depends on what you are shooting. If you need a camera basics guide there is one on the channel! 🤙
@@CurtisPadley thanks
how is your gopro 8 setting at night? it's so clear
Nice shots bro! Can you share your settings on your camera and lens?
Thanks mate, unsure what you mean about settings, the camera settings are right next to each photo.
Shutter speed
Aperture
ISO
@@CurtisPadley sorry, i just bought my camera and lens. Same as yours. Dont know how to start hahaha
@@arielperilla3549 No problem, this might help you out ua-cam.com/video/gNLJdAjf0v4/v-deo.html it's a camera basic guide! 🤙
As a professional photographer can you give me an advice?
As a beginner which lense should I buy?
Viltrox 13mm or 85mm?? Pairing with sony a6400
( only one I can buy right now, )
Question... Why at the beginning of the video you are taking the photos with a high iso (1600) and a fast shutter speed (1/1600) when you can low your shutter speed and the ISO to have best quality photos?
PS: I don't if i'm explaining myself :)
For this particular shoot, I was pushing the ISO to see how well it held together. And I was impressed ya know. Normally try keep ISO as low as possible.
@@CurtisPadley which mode did you use?
@@syncro94 it's in the title of the video.
@@CurtisPadley A, M or P? :)
how much time or shot it takes to kill a battery sir?
Hello. I plan to buy Sony A6400 camera. what is a good lens for a beginner? thank you
I really want to know if this Lens is manual or automatic
If this lens is used on an APS-C camera, the focal length will be 127mm. Am I right?
Spot on mate 🫡
do you use lightroom for editing?
I'd like to see a night pov with a manual lens like the 7ARTISANS 50mm f0.95
Are you up for the challenge...?
If I ever get my hands back on some manual lenses then for sure! 🤙
What mode are you using sir?
Hello just asking how do you shoot to your camera the a6400 that has no image stabilization? Im planning to buy a6400 as my first camera but hesitating. I also want to shoot in lowlight, landscape and portrait.
I’m pretty sure his lenses have stabilization
Nice content, anyway what picture profile that you use sir?
All photo shot in standard colours, I shoot in Raw which allows me to adjust everything in post ✌️
@@CurtisPadley thank youu
Which focus mode?
Quite expensive lens. I want that lens as well
Worth the money mate! Best 85mm on the market in my opinion 🤙
You couldn't of put Sigma 85mm DG DN? Thanks for that.
Its now confused the newb and added a amazon return. WARNING NOT "HSM VERISON" total twice the size. So kinda important to know. I ordered half asleep, which was half the problem but still. Pls pls Label correct my bro
You can't blame me for that mate 😂 For one don't order somthing when half a sleep cause you would have noticed a difference in size if you paid attention.
And two, it's linked in the description of the video, the model I'm using.
I'm not changing anything you should pay attention 😂
Are you always using auto focus or manual?
Auto, always 👌
Trams dude :)
Trams! 📸
gopro is a waste i go with dji osmo
1/1600 🥲
Couldn't u be sued for taking photos of people without their consent?
No, street photography is legal in the UK 🇬🇧📸
Unless you're in private grounds, There's no regards or expectations for privacy if you're in a PUBLIC SPACE
Best to avoid GoPro. They have so many issues and are not as good as they used to be. That company will be heading for insolvency soon. Best to look at different solutions for video.
