- Join me and Paul as we visit Brooklands Museum located in Weybridge, Surrey for the very first time
Brooklands itself is very famous around the world for its oval concrete racetrack which opened in 1907 and closed in 1939, it has also been the home to Vickers Aviation since 1915 and was a huge part of both World Wars
Today Brooklands and the surrounding area is home to the Museum that’s home to a huge collection of classic racing cars, motorcycles, busses and of course aeroplanes and the huge 270ton aircraft pressure chamber
There’s also Mercedes-Benz World a free to enter facility open to the public at the historic Brooklands motor racing circuit where you can get behind the wheel of a Mercedes car plus much more

I’m one of those who really like museum and attractions vlogs just as much as theme park vlogs, so I would really enjoy more museum vlogs on either this channel or a separate one. I’m not that familiar with the different museums in the UK, but I think it would be fun with vlogs from for example the British Museum, Victoria & Albert Museum, Natural History Museum - and even perhaps a tour of the Tower of London and such.
I will put them all in my planner

Remember when BA finished with the VC 10 they stored them at Abingdon airfield as used to see them on airshow days in September and they had one to walk through.They also had an Avro Vulcan XH537 stored there for a number of years had a dumbo elephant on the tail.

Hi Andy I was lucky enough to travel on Concorde in August 2003 shortly before in retired. I flew from JFK to LHR. Pretty special memory.

Personally prefere the museums vlogs, Weekends away when visiting different areas etc. It is good to keep it all on this channel but if you think a second channel is needed then go for it. Just look at what shawn and charlotte did and how successful a 2nd channel is.
I find that it is good that you dont just visit theme parks all the time. Havent been to brooklands in ages even tho its fairly close to me. Its a brilliant place to visit.
I was present when Concorde arrived at the EAA/Oshkosh Airshow...beautiful plane...Might I suggest you attend the World's Largest Airshow there?...It's just get to O'hare Airport Chicago then 3-4hrs by rental car north from there...book early...Hotels fill up quick...you would want a couple days to take it all in...you would also be near Mt Olympus Wisconsin Dells and Six Flags Great America while in the area...and don't forget your sun blocking lotion. Cheers.

Hey Andy, if you come to Germany I can recomend the technical Museum in "Sinsheim" : Its a privat Museum, where you can go into the Concorde and the Soviet Concorde without extra fee. And the German Museum in Munich, the Daimler Museum and Porsche Museum in Stuttgart. And finally the Stone Age Museum in Uhldingen at the Lake of Constanze(Bodensee). and danm so many other good Museum in Germany... lol

Yeah but that just shows how really my vlogs are lol nothing is ever planned and we didn’t know what was on display here, apparently we missed a lot of stuff at Brooklands so will definitely need to go back in the future
Shuttleworth Collection in biggleswade is a great aircraft museum if you haven't already been -- it also has beautiful grounds with swiss gardens. Very vlog worthy!

My Grandparents back in the 90s flew out to new York on Concorde and came back on the QE2! Won tickets in a local newspaper😁

Hey, awesome video mate! Although I have never been to Brookland Museum before, it does look very interesting, a friend of mine also told me about it aswell. Also, have you ever visited RAF Hendon before? If not then you should go visit, its a big RAF Museum located in the North of London, its similar to Duxford and Cosford, there are plenty of hangars to go and have a look around. I went there for my first time on the same day this video was filmed, was such a great day there👍

I had the opportunity to check both a Concorde and a TU-144 some years ago at the Sinsheim Museum (near Stuttgart). Despite the obvious similarities there are some stark contrasts between the two. It's never been clear to me what passenger demographic the TU-144 team targeted or if that was ever a consideration.
It’s a shame we don’t have anything like that flying passengers anymore
Watched you from the very start Andy and can honestly say you were better at the start when it was you and Lisa it was raw and real and fun , something lost when going too serious. Not just you pal I watch them all and all have lost their charm .

Big up for heading to Brooklands Museum. I Vulenteer there in the Campbell shed most of the time but wasn't there when you went though. You was right about why we Vulenteer there. TBH it's actually for many different reasons to why we Vulenteer there. I Vulenteer there because it's something to be doing while I can't find work or waiting for Thorpe, I'm into my different types of Transport, I'm interested with the different history and stories there like WW2, Race track and the land is apparently Haunted? And yes there isn't any there but I'm a big fan of American Hotrod Cars.

Museum Madness I like that name brillient. Aswell as my Channel Theme Park Awesome I've got a Museum Channel named A Day At The Museum it's mainly based at Brooklands and Mercades Benz for now. For your Second channel If you want to invest init I recommend spending a few days at Flambards later in the year. then you could create content of the rides on your TP Channel and then the Museum side of it for your second Channel especially the Victorian Village if you wanted to?
I've done loads of Events at Brooklands and aload of them are amazing they create a good atmosphere to the place personally if you do return to Brooklands if you wanted to I recommend doing a weekend out of it for an example day 1 full look around the museum and there's some good stuff you haven't seen yet and day two exploring an event that's on at the time?

All I'm saying Andy if you do if you can handle 2 or 3 extra channels and you don't lose focus on your main channel cause you built up a good following but I'm not saying in it a negative way I'd still watch vlogs or docvlogs

It was a case of I’m not paying for this or I am not interested in that and didn’t see it all…….we didn’t have time and was an hour late getting to Lift 109 at Battersea Power Station, Brooklands was just something extra ps I also slept in and should have been there earlier lol
