A tip for anyone that doesn’t have a front locker. Lightly grab the front brake, or on canam just the single brake lever. It’ll lightly apply pressure to all wheels and help the front diff put more power to the tire that’s stuck instead of spinning one tire. It’s not perfect but it’s better than nothing!
Every time I'm drinking on mine, something goes wrong, lol. But I'm on a rubicon, allot worse and more on a sportsman rebuild. Then, hit a bull mastiff, going 40 with no helmet on the way home. 14 staples in my head with road rash, and I drove it home😅. I was more worried about the bikes condition until my buddy's started calling 911 and telling me to sit down. Bent the steering stem, and the tire was off the bead and bent wheel. I don't know how it wasn't totaled or more tore up from the hard road!
My dad said to get some all around tires for mud and just riding regular around and I think intimaders are good. And thoughts on those tires or should I get somthing else?
Depends on your machine. Intimidators are really heavy. Xm310’s, maxxis zilla, and aztex are good options. I have 30 outlaw max’s on a grizzly 700 and they’re not the best trail tire but they’re a damn good mud tire. For riding like they do, outlaw max or efx motoslayer
if it cuts off under water i wouldnt wait that long to pull it out, just pick up the back end and hold the ignition and it will eventually start, i have a foreman 520 and thats what i do and it always starts up just fine
Whether it starts or not is a gamble. If the piston was on compression stroke and the exhaust valve closed right after water entered, it may hydro lock. If you can catch it on decompression or even better on exhaust stroke, the starter will just push the water out. All depends on where your valves were when it shut off. Lifting the rear end isn’t going to do much other than ensure water stays in the exhaust pipe honestly. The reason Hondas are infamous for starting after is just a statistical likelihood since they are all single cylinder engines. There’s a 50/50 chance it stopped in the right spot. On parallel twin engines, it’s almost guaranteed one cylinder hydro locks because if one is on exhaust stroke the other is about to begin compression stroke.
I like my shaft Drive 5-speed all-wheel drive Honda Foreman automatic ATVs suck because they are belt drive and you get water in the belt cover and it's going to slip
I would rather use my Hunting Fishing trail riding buggy 84 Bronco 2 V6 4-speed manual 6in lift with 31 9.50-15 TLS boggers I've only had her stuck once and that's because I was pushing mud with my bumper and harmonic balancer and busted some blades off of the plastic fan when they hit the water had water in the floorboards which I had already pulled the carpet from
Been riding Hondas since 1974. The infatuation with destroying motors and electrical dependent machines by thinking they are submarines is mind boggling.

That’s exactly why I bought the HMF swamp series exhaust snorkel for my KQ 750. Expensive, but worth it, for if it shut off under water.
Loved the video! I love trail/water runs better than mud holes.
Thanks and yep it was refreshing to ride that type of terrain
Banger!! Hate to see the Rubi sunk, but it happens. That last creek was nice ridin. 🤘🏼 Hope to catch ya at Mudslangers in Sept.

Hey JP, would you pick 30" Azteks or 30" Cryptids for a 2024 700 grizzly. Im in North Ga where we got a lot of red clay
Aztex
Outlaw max are good too
That's how it's done!

You gotta let a lot off air out them tires so you won’t float bad

I'm just a Honda boy trying to make it! Js
It does make for a good video tho 🤘🏾
Shoulda ran the vent lines higher
what PSI u running?
Like 4 or 5
Peanut butter burgers are good, I was skeptical as well
The Reason why it stalled is because you didn’t let the motor adjust to the Coldwater after driving a distance.
@@jamesjanzen9806 yep
Can to the comments just for this absolutely agree let it cool off in a lil bit of water especially after driving it like that
Where you going next
What’s the music called from the intro
I’ve had my Honda recon on rice and canes deeper than that
I was low key hoping the sunk Honda meant we were getting some more sportsman content soon 🤝😂
😂
Yup Can Am clutches will let you down everytime. Dont have that problem with Polaris clutches.
