I made half of the given quantity. But same proportions. Reduced temperature and increased time a bit. And it came out perfect. My 10mo baby and my dog too lovvvve it.
I just finished making these for our granddaughter. Why are mine rubbery and not hard? I followed the recipe and baked as directed...even took your suggestion and left them in the oven longer (after letting some of the heat out....
She was about the same age when I started making these for her. That was definitely a worry of mine, as well. Honestly, I've always just sat with her whenever I give her any kind of teething cookie or food (and she's 14 months old now) My feeling is the best choking prevention is keeping an eye on her whenever something's in her mouth. I hope that helps!
I’ve never tried it with a different oil so I can’t say with 100% certainty that it would come out the same but maybe ghee would be a good alternative?
Lourdes Hidalgo thank you so much!! And congratulations 😊👍🏻🍼💕 you just need some form of liquid fat, Charlotte’s had butter before so I might try melted butter instead. But I think it’s safe for you to experiment with whatever you’re comfortable with!

Is the dough sticky or on the
Dry side?
My son might like this he loves toast
This looks like a different type of baby oatmeal and probably why others recipes is coming out gooey
How old is she?. My baby is 8 months, but I'm just afraid he's gonna choke with a hard piece of it 😱. But I want him to try this

Mine were a puddle of mush
Is there a choking hazard
I followed recipe to a T & it came out gooey still 🤦♀️ I even baked it extra
Scared of my 6 month old chocking 😭
Doesn't last hard for very long which is a choking hazard. Needs to be much much harder.
Oil terrible specials for babies isn't there anything else?
Otherwise this is a great recipe
No its good for their brain etc
Depends on which oil you are using. Ghee, coconut oils are very good for babies. But beware of the quantity we mixing also.
