Time Travel Theme (Secret 不能說的秘密 OST) - Jay Chou 周杰倫 || Piano Cover

This song has marked the first year of my piano learning journey. When I was young, I always thought piano is a super difficult instrument to master (even now I still think it is), and only reserved for gifted and rich kids. With that in mind, throughout those years, I never thought about making an attempt. However, seeing someone playing piano somehow always left me emptiness and regret... a mixed feeling that couldn't be defined. I knew that deep down inside, subconsciously, I still wanted to give it a chance, and give myself a chance.
Then the pandemic happened. Living alone during lockdown time made life even more lonely and distressed. That's when I decided to try something different, something fun, something that I had always loved to do.
It has been an incredible journey. Exactly 365 days ago, I bought my Kawai just to pick up a new skill and reduce my stress level after work. The intention was, just for fun, no pressure, no competition, I learned at my own pace, when I had time or in the mood to do so. I ended up covering 13 songs in 2021 (actually more but for some songs I was just so lazy to record 😂), which was just beyond my expectation! And I even have a youtube channel where I share these melodies and make friends with people across the globe!
Thanks my little friend Kawai who brought me so much joy, who was by my side during the darkest days of the year.

You are very talented. How do you teach yourself piano? Are you using some softwares, books or UA-cam video? I am also self-thought. I am learning with Piano Marvel and some UA-cam tutorials. I like it but I would like to try other ways to learn piano.

Thanks for your kind words! I use the music sheets in combination with UA-cam tutorials :D. That's how I learned :). Good luck with your practise ! :)
