Well, God limits himself by his word. Psalm 138:2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: *for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name* . I pray you come to the knowledge that God himself limits himself to the parameters of scripture and he doesn’t operate outside those standards.
in the summer of 2020, i was having all these dreams of fire; specifically, my province of british columbia, was burning. it led me to search God's word and pray more than i had ever before in my life. in the summer of 2021, the forest fires burned out of control all over my province. 2 years later, i'm still on fire for the Lord. i believe He used dreams to wake me up that i would seek after Him, His kingdom and His righteousness first. reading & studying His word daily has set me free from a lot of lies i believed.
I had a vision of the end times (before covid hit) in December 27th of 2019. It was wild. Never had one like this. I knew right away it was from God and I knew this wasn’t a “dream”
Yes! That’s how I came to God. Grew up in the church but didn’t believe. I’d go to Church bc my family made me And would cringe and feel uncomfortable every time I heard the name of Jesus. I saw his beautiful feet. Then last year during a time of distress I had a vision while awake/eyes open of Jesus in wrath. After that day I couldn’t deny his existence and gave my life to Christ.
My Grandmother once told me that God gave her a dream about having to take care of me. That was true - I was abused by my dad and I was depressed for most of my life.. I didn't want to live. A few years before she passed away, she got to see me become a Christian, lose weight, have a decent job, and generally overall happier person.
I absolutely agree with you Brother Corey.... The Lord did give a vision which will glorify him 🙏.... I was at work and as was listening to Gospel music actually a song from the singing Cookes... while standing in front of my machine I was at Church with my wife who is not saved. I seen her kneeling down at the Alter I was standing close to her then she got up tears in her eyes I knew she was Born Again I hugged her and that was it.... I have only shared this with just a few brothers and sisters.... I have not shared it with my wife. I definitely will when she accepts the Lord I most definitely still witness to her .... But I know what I seen and I was crying at my machine praising God.... I believe in What God showed me and I praise him and thank him. This is nothing for me to boast about as I have not... But I am sharing and when my wife gets Saved I will praise and thank the Lord Jesus Christ 🙏

I do believe God still speaks to us through dreams. As a young girl God has showed me dreams about people that have came to past. God even showed me that I would have a son. When he was born he looked just the way I saw him in the dream. At one point in my life I didn't think I could have kids. I believe God still speaks to us in dreams
In July 2004... They wanted me to take this certain anxiety med.... They told me it might make me "feel funny" but keep taking it ...I was burdened by it and prayed out to God to please give me a sign should I be taking this (I don't deserve it, didnt have scripture to claim but i requested from him) I always had the tv on by the bed....I was awaking by my eye lids slowly opening by a presence, like hands... When my eyes were open, on the tv was a commercial that said..."if you are taking this "med" disregard and join this lawsuit"... When I said "oh,ok, thanks" , those "hands" closed my eyes lids and I was back to sleep...he definitely can give you a sign...oh and this is not to discourage anyone from meds...this was my incident and this med
I've had dreams and I know a brother in Christ who told me about a vision he had that came true. For me, it has only been a small handful though and doesn't happen often. I don't expect anyone to believe me so I don't talk about it often.
Yes Yes Yes, God has used me many times showing me things in dreams. The first time when I was around 4 years old. The last time was about 4 weeks ago. I saw my son attacked in his neck area and saw the wound it left in the dream. I called my son that morning and prayed with him. The next couple of days he called me and told me he was house sitting and while he was playing with the dog he was attacked and bitten in the neck. Because we prayed I feel the would was less severe. I don't dream every night but when God wants to show me something He uses dreams.
Yes, he does! That was how I knew I was called to the ministry. And he has given me plenty of dreams over the years including warnings of pending danger.

Women and men receive these gifts of visions and dreams, I am a woman and I receive visions and dreams that both line up with Biblical Scripture. Sometimes God will speak to me to give me something about a particular thing or person or about myself as a testimony for someone else and it would be later that I realized what he had shown or spoken to me spiritually was written in the Bible that I had never seen until after the fact. but this is an awesome discussion to have and there are a lot of deceptionist so this is where the WORD of GOD shines light on that deception, the gift of the Holy Spirit, the gift of discernment, and that personal relationship with God comes in handy, working for the good of the Body of Jesus Christ. You don't have to personally have read a particular Bible Scripture, and God will give you that particular scripture directly, or through people or a person in the body of Christ. However HE gives it its gonna line up with HIS WORD, and be understood at some point, to the person giving it and the receiver. To GOD be the glory, and Im thankful for HIM using you, and your obedience to follow and study HIS WORD (HIS WORD). The Shalom of the LORD be upon you.

Yes Gods people still have dreams and visions from God. More people today more then ever put limits on God and limits on the house of God. We can still through the Holy Ghost lay hands on the sick and see them recover but all healing comes from God.

Yes, I had one. Back in 2019 I had a very vivid dream that I was in a building that looked like a church but inside of it the further I walked one room had a hospital, the other had a morgue and then the other had what looked like normal church benches. Now as I walked further down the hallway there were dead Asian bodies all over the floor, bloody and gruesome. This was January 2019 ...I had not watched TV since 2014, I wasn't doing anything to give me these thoughts and I don't know not 1 Asian person currently. Fast forward to 2020 I remembered this dream when they were piling up those dead bodies in wuhan china,and also what was happening with the church and the deaths and the medical system. So yes he does. P.s the dream was so horrific in sight I couldn't sleep straight for months, even asked my mother to pray for me and that's not something i typically do either....I also had the dream before I was baptised. Wasn't baptised until later that year.

As Christians, sometimes we act like the world. We are very quick to ask for dream interpretation, either by a dream book (including "Christian" dream book), a "prophet" or a Christian friend to determine what a number represents, an animal represents, even a deceased relative represents, etc... in a dream. Scripture clearly states that a dream is caused by much effort (busyness of life, including conversations, worries, concerns, desires, anxiety, music, movies, etc...). Just because you had a dream, does not mean it was God-inspired (i.e. Acts 16: 9-10). "For the dream comes through much effort, and the voice of a fool through many words." - Ecclesiates 5:3 "For in many dreams and in many words there is futility. Rather, fear God." - Ecclesiates 5:7 People will exclaim that Joseph had a dream (Genesis 37:5-9). He did. However, there is no biblical support that it was interpreted. But Pharaoh had a dream, then Joseph interpreted it (Genesis 41:1-36). Yes, he did. But Nebuchadnezzar had a dream, then Daniel interpreted it (Daniel 2). Yes, he did. Both situations were ungodly men who did not know God. We as Christians should be seeking God and His Holy Word as the directive and authority in our lives, not a dream. We as New Covenant believers have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit (John 14:26, 16:13) to lead and guide us. We can and will fall into the trap of "I want more" than Scripture. These are the pitfalls of transcendental, mystic, horoscope, new age, higher power, palm reading, leaf teas, false prophecy, "a word from the Lord", "I heard the Lord say", "I had a dream about.....", etc....falling prey to itching ears (2 Tim 4:3) and exploitation (2 Peter 2: 1-3). The latter part of Ecclesiastes 5:7 proclaims "RATHER, FEAR (REVERANCE) GOD".
I've had dreams come to pass that the enemy, in every way he tried, could not have predicted. I've recognized visitations from the Holy Spirit or God, and the tone of the dream shifts completely when they visit. And, when I've asked, dreams that have revealed certain things. Yes, we should be seeking God, but we aren't supposed to set aside our dreams just because we don't believe in them. The enemy may also use our dreams against us; this is why it's crucial to understand the difference between dreams and ask the Holy Spirit to decipher it for you if you have trouble doing so. Dreams can come from 3 sources: your own mind, the devil, or God. In everything, we must test the spirit. But don't let the enemy fool you into thinking your dreams don't mean anything.
Joseph’s brothers and parents interpreted his dream that was before He had the gift of interpretation. “And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.” God does speak to His prophets this way. Some people have several dreams at night at day anytime they close their eyes. God is always speaking to His prophets. Regular people believer and unbelievers will also have dreams just not as much or as often as the servants of Yah. Prophets sees things they have absolutely no reasons to be thinking about so you thinking dreams are all soulish dreams is crazy.
@@phirephly4588 just things pertinent to my future. A few BIG ones have been a dream my dad was going to die. He wasn't dying, he just died of a blood clot. But I had the dream that let me know about 2 weeks prior. Then I saw my daughter before she was born, as a toddler and then the dream happened in real life, causing deja Vu, but I remembered the dream, so it wasn't deja Vu, but a future event revealed to me. When I was 19 in the Marines, my Marine buddy totaled a car on the test drive. I was in the backseat without my seatbelt on. All windows down, sunroof open and we rolled over several times. I thought I was outta here, but a voice said "wrap your left arm around the drivers headrest, and with your right hand grab the handle above you and hold on." Without those instructions I would've been ejected. There's a lot more, but He does reveal stuff to me in dreams.
I have so many dreams but I had one kinda similar to yours. Dreamt my sister and I were in a car accident. Told her about the dream and within a week the accident happened just like the dream showed me. She was shocked. Thank God it was a minor accident. And I was in my early teens but He still reveals things to me in dreams.
I agree with you brother the way God communicates with us is primarily through the scriptures as I experienced. As I read the scriptures I would be rebuked and chastened and change to be more like Jesus Christ, I know we continue to grow throughout our lives but God is big. I did have a vision 3 months after I became a Christian as I used to be atheist for most of my life. It's a long story but will try to shorten it! In 2013 I was trying to prove God was not true as I studied different religions not to be true and the one I had a problem proving not true was the Bible as I studied for months day and night. One night as I was studying at around 2:30 in the morning I thought to my self God might be true and I got on my knees and told God if he was true to forgive me of all my sins and to change me. I got up as I cried with peace in my heart and went to bed. I had nightmares for most of my life and always dreamed of killing people and that night I fell asleep and started to dream of telling God to forgive me of specific sins and in the day time I would remember specific sins and tel God to forgive me this happened for 7 days and 7 nights straight. Those dreams stopped but them I dreamed of preaching to people in my dreams. I don't remember really having nightmares since then but maybe 3 times since then which it's been 9years. 3 months after I gave myself to God on May 20,2013 God spoke to me audibly and gave me a vision while I was driving earlier in the morning as I was in a red-light. As soon as I stopped on the red light everything turned black and a small hole and inside a bright light as I was looking at it it felt like someone got my head and pushed me toward the light and as I looked in it like a window my nose didn't pass inside it and as I was looking God spoke to me and said tell Travis that this is where he is going and talk to him about me. As God was speaking to me I could feel the love of God in me and it was so great the I can't explain with words and I could see the light going inside my body like the rays of the sun. As soon as God finished talking the vision went away and I could see. I started to cry of happiness and could not speak . My wife and son were in the car and my wife thought I was having a panic attack but all I could do was tell her with my hands I could not talk as I tried talking and nothing would come out. 10 minutes past and I could barely speak and I told my wife what happened and she asked who is Travis and I said a man I picked up in Dialysis center that looked sick and gave him a ride home. She asked me when are you going to tell him and I told her whenever I see him as I don't know him and don't know where he is, I thought to it would probably be in a long time and told her. As I took my wife to the Dialysis center Travis was sitting there again and my wife looked at me and said with a smile good luck because she knew I did not like talking about God , she was a Christian. I called Travis and he came and asked if he was OK but told me it was weird that he has been waiting for his ride for 3 to 4 hours. I knew it was God and just said you want a ride as I thought if I tell him out of the car what God told me he would think I'm crazy leave. As I drove I didn't know how to tell him but I told him I had something to tell him about God and I started telling him and he just stayed quiet for an awkward moment and he said it's true, I asked what's true? He said I have been asking God if I was going to heaven because I'm scared of dying for a year and a half and he sent you. Then he asked me when am I dying I told him God did not say when your dying just showed me heaven and told me that you would be going and for me to talk to you about him. Travis told me yes tell me everything about God and I told him I don't know to much because I just became a Christian but will tell you what I know. This is much longer because God spoke to me audibly 2 more times that day about my father-in-law and the other about me . The one about me was something I was doing that was not good and to stop. Sorry was so long but God has not spoken to me audibly since then but only through the word of God and has chastened me and is changing me to be more like Jesus Christ. God bless you brother
Wonderful testimony. This is how we live out the will of God for our lives. We allow him to guide us the way he wills. We shouldn't put limits to how and when he can speak to us. And Joey, remember that the Bible itself is a collection of visions, Dreams, prophecies, inward impressions and audible voice of God heard by Holy men!
Every since I turned 12 years old God has been showing me Dreams and Visions when I turned 12 years old God had taken me to HeavenThe SKY opened up and I saw the white clouds open and then I saw the blue sky open up and then I was in Heaven I Saw 2 Angels at first and they asked how can they help me I told them that I needed a white Robe they told me to look in the Linen Closet I came out fully dressed from my Head to my Feet I went a little Farther I went to a nother door there I met a man at that door he led me inside a Room he asked me my name and then he asked my age I begin to cry he asked me when I was born I begin to cry.he walked me a little farther I saw 6 men on the front row and 6 men on the second row they was waiting in that room also the man knocked in that door an said he will. Get the Doctor and I woke up.So many Dreams and Visions also I am havining them now. I can't stop from coming to me.i just Thank The Lord for them.
Yes, He does. That is how God speaks to me and tells me things. I came to Christ when I was asleep and Jesus came to me in a dream and handed me a Bible. I was very much an atheist and actively against the faith. Anyway, since that day I’ve never turned back. And 12 years later, God continues to speak to me through dreams. I dream of things before they happen. I dream about what’s happening in someone’s life, only to approach them with the dream and they are completely shocked at the accuracy of my dream. It gives me an opportunity to pray and intercede on their behalf. Some dreams require interpretation, and God will give you interpretation through His word. Examples of things I’ve dreamt before they came to pass; twice dreamt my best friend was pregnant out of wedlock, 3 months later it happened; dreamt my mother in law was really unwell, 2/3 months later she was diagnosed with colon cancer.

I wish people would stop putting limits on God. We don’t serve a mute God. He is alive and active. His Word is alive and active. Intelligence can only get us so far. I pray the eyes of our understanding would be opened to fully understand the things of the spirit because too many are trying to dilute the Power of God to mere intelligence.
Thank you. God is indeed still speaking and everything wasn’t written down in the Bible some things were hidden to be revealed later. The Antichrist was spoken about but His name wasn’t written yet God has revealed it to His prophets to warn the body of Christ. Mystery Babylon was a Mystery until God revealed what nation it is. The people who think every detail is written down will be the ones loosing out on the revelation. Whatever God is speaking can correlate to the scriptures but it’s new revelation that unless you got it you wouldn’t know. So many people are guessing who the Antichrist is based on their own understanding of the scripture yet we don’t have to guess because God says He will do nothing unless He reveals it to His servants the Prophets
When I was dating I would ask God to show me if the man wasn’t good. When I prayed that I would have a nightmare about the man THAT SAME NIGHT. Twice God showed me they had anger issues. I finally met a man where I asked God and didn’t get a nightmare.
A relationship with God is not a one way thing. We speak to Him through prayer and he speaks to us through intuitive guidance and various phenomena. These include, but are not limited to, the use of scripture. As many as are led by the Spirit of God they are the sons of God. This Spirit is also the Spirit of truth, the Comforter who our Lord mentions in John 14. The Bible does not tell any Christian exactly who they should marry. It is through discernment that certain man and woman recognize each other as their lifelong happiness partner.

God definitely speaks through dream. I’ve been a Christian all my life and I’ve always loved the lord but in my early teens, I began moving with the wrong crowd and went a little bit astray (still loved the lord and struggled to find my way back), in the summer of 2021 I was tired of that lifestyle and was desperate to find forgiveness, one night I had a dream where I encountered the Lord and miraculously got healed of drug addiction and other addictions just to keep it short, since that day I’ve been dreaming like 20 times more than I used to , I dream like 7 times in a day or even more, my dreams are mostly prophetic about things about myself and the world at large. God speaks through dreams for real. God is real, Jesus is real, The Holy Spirit is real, believe and be saved
I believe it depends on the person's heart and their circumstances. They could have dreams and/or visions. But i think it would be things that drew them to call on Christ... and other "specific reasons" like how to win another soul to Christ.. things like that
I know God still gives dreams. I have had many dreams all my life. In 2020, my dream life was very active. I actually dreamt that when the church reopened in 2020, the children’s church was going to be held outside. I posted it on FB the day of the dream. I have had so many other dreams.
The answer is yes I've had many dreams , rapture dreams ive had attacks from satan , prince of palities all that stuff the beginning was scary then i called upon the name of the LORD and it was game over for all of them
Those that swear blind that God speaks to them in dreams will not believe anything else. Similar to those that speak in gibberish and say it's genuine tongues, their subjective experiences to be in union with God is more important to them than what Scripture says. Testing the Spirits is the last thing on their minds especially when they think that they are at the centre of their experiences not God.

Every time I’ve had dreams or visions given by God, they are always backed up with his word, and that’s how I know it was from God. We have to discern what’s from God and what’s from the devil. Dreams and visions have been abused just like tongues and prophesy. But when God gives me dreams it’s to repent about something, forgive someone, apologize to someone, etc…
The Bible is the inerrant word of God. But what is the Bible? It's the mind of God revealed to mankind through history by way of Visions, Dreams, inspired writing and Audible voice. "for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God." - 2 Peter 1:21 To say "God speaks to us through the Bible" is to admit that God speaks through Visions and dreams. The Bible itself gives us no reason to believe that Visions and dreams will cease. The evidence is to the contrary. Do we equate every dream and vision to the Bible? The answer is no. The real discussion should therefore be on how we can know for certain that a dream or vision is from God. This the Bible itself does provide and answer to. The risk of ungodly source of dreams and visions is not higher today than in the past. In fact the Bible tells us that there has always been false prophecies. So we should never raise the issue of ungodly dreams as an argument against dreams and visions today
The Bible does say when these gifts will end. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

Hello. I have no solid answer of yes or no on this topic, but I was having a conversation with one of my Christian mentors on this subject less than an hour ago. I feel this is an area of my life that I am struggling with right now because it is attached to something that will glorify God but that my human desire could also twist into confusion and misunderstanding. I won’t explain more I don’t feel it’s necessary or appropriate at this time and as well I wouldn’t consider this video a confirmation from God at this time, but I also don’t believe that this video was a coincidence for where I am in my life currently. I will be more aware of my surroundings and continue growing to be a smart Christian. Thank you for allowing God to use you to make these videos.
Ive had dreams to come true and visions. The last vision I had was. One morning when i woke up an hour before i had to go to work, i had my eyes closed but wasnt sleep. i was day dreaming and all of a sudden appeared a cicrle on the bottom left hand side corner a m an looking like and dressed in brown like a mechanic or the may tag man was inside the circle. He said you better go check your front tire on the right side. I got up out of bed and went outside to check and saw that i had a flat tire on the right front side, just like he had said. I just shook my head and said OMG its happening again. Thanking God i called someone to help me .They fixed the tire i went to work ,thanking God all the way. What do you make of that?
Corey back in 2005 I had a dream and the dream was that I was going out walking and talking to people I don't know what I was saying but I felt like I was telling people about God and gold precious diamonds and stones we're falling out of my mouth onto the ground a lot of it. At first I was vexed and I just kept wondering what did it mean. Now that God has delivered me out of a church full of false Prophets and I am telling them about sound doctrine and letting them know that their tongues are not true tongues is this what God was showing me that I'm actually now telling people about sound doctrine because we had women preachers and and pastors

I belive that dreams are still around because I have since I was a girl, but I believe it is gonna mainly be for that person to apply to their life or family..
For example I needed a car and I had money but I just wanted to make the right decision on what direction to go. I ask God about and told him of my fear. I have been having visions and dreams daily since September of 2017, that was the month that the Revelation 12 alignment took place, and a period of intense, and frequent end time signs have been happening! In my visions I see Jesus’ children being ‘caught up’ and going through a doorway into heaven, then that door closes very quickly. I have seen Jesus in my dreams, and He told me He was coming to take me out of this place, in another dream Jesus spoke to me in another language, and I spoke back to him in that same language, but I do not know what was said. The prophecy in Acts is written in Joel also. Yes God works though dreams and vision even today. In Acts 2:17, Peter says that they will have dreams and visions. They were not presented themselves to the converts by telling them about a dream are vision that they had. This statement of this fulfillment was separate from what was going on at that time. It is not part of the gifts of the Spirit. But it is surely part of God talking to us by the Spirit. I dream of the wife I should marry. We are now married 54 years. The great gifts of the Spirit have just about disappeared. But God still works though us by Communicating to us by his Spirit, though dreams vision and also by the moves of the Holy Spirit., that we can fill moving and in our hearts. The Holy Spirit teaches us, 1 John 2:27. The Holy Spirit guides us and leads us in the way we should go. I have just signed on to your teaching on ytube. Dreams and visions are just a portal whereby the physical realm communicates with the physical. If the is a God why would he stop communicating with his people?

I have never had dreams or visions. I am inclined to think that they aren't necessary for God to glorify Himself. At least not in my life. ...as a rule, I don't even have many normal dreams.

Yahuah does not only speak to you through His Word. He comes in many ways because He is not a God that can be placed under human limitations. I've had dreams that were clearly either something that would come to pass or simply just visitations. Some of them were warnings. The tones of the dream are mostly the same when He comes by, and they happen when I least expect it. He is the Creator of everything! How can He not choose what shape or form He will present Himself to you? Also, it's interesting that the verse you chose is so simple, and yet you've still managed to twist it. He clearly stated He will pour out His Spirit in the last days. How do you manage to twist it? Do not limit the Almighty Father. He is not confined to our interpretation of Him. He works beyond our imagination.

I seen this UA-cam preacher (Johnny Chang) say that GOD no longer speaks to us through dreams, he speaks to us through SCRIPTURE ONLY. I don't think this can be true. GOD has spoken to me through dreams many times. What do you think of the preachers who say that GOD no longer speaks to us through dreams??
God gave us everything we need to know. All of us have the same knowledge of God through His word. Thats it. When that which is perfect has come, that which is in part shall be done away Corinthians 13:10 Before Jesus signs and wonders were how God manifested Himself to us. Now that the Bible is complete not only the book but that prophecy God spoke of in the beginning of His Son being the propitiation of His wrath for us through faith if we believe. Yea all that has been perfected. No longer do we look to a miracle to find faith. We look to what Jesus did in Faith. Im leary of anyone who claims something other than the Word that God showed or told them. God gave us His Word in completion so we would know Him and know His plan. If you get married to someone, and you act horribly. You cuss and swear, you drink and party, you live like your single. Is that an indication that you're not really married? Maybe to the people around you but not to your spouse. You are still married. So how can how a Christian lives weather it be Godly or not, be an indication that someone is not really a believer? The thing that I'm struggling with is that as Christians I hope we can all at least agree that Jesus died for ALL our sins. And Christians still have a flesh to contend with. So could it be that a person that is living worldly, or living how they lived before they supposedly became a believer, is just a bad child of God? If not, why not?
I dreamt my cousin cheated on his wife....I called him the next morning and he admitted that he had a lady in the house the night before.. I dreamt that a sister was pregnant..and she broke down and admitted she was but aborted the baby.. Well if the gifts have ceased and deliverance and tongues is fake then dreams and visions are included. You can't call deliverance fake and validate dreams and visions
If he is no respecter of person, then why would he come to anyone when we have his message, and he said not to add to it in Rev22:18. It would be mass confusion and how can we trust everyone who has these dreams and visions.We can't, lest one falls into the hands of you know who.

A great number of Christians are being taught to trust their own thoughts rather than God's commands in their lives. They sometimes pray and they feel as though God answered them and they go with that, rather than the written word which God has kept for us for thousands of years. The whole thing is based on feelings and personal opinions and not on sound doctrine.
It would be sad if anyone were to teach someone to trust their own thoughts of feelings. At the same time the Christian life would be impossible without our thoughts and feelings. Our thoughts and feelings are not the source of doctrine but we were sanctified so that we may serve the Lord with all our being "Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ". - 1 Thessalonians 5:23 It would be impossible to live the will of God for our lives were it not for the fact that our spirit bears witness with His Spirit. How else were we to set aside time to pray, fast, worship etc were it not for the fact that sometimes we do FEEL the need to set aside time with God? Feelings and thoughts have suffered the double tragedy of being ignored or made to lead. Feelings in particular have a bad rep but sanctified believers ought to be tuned in to the Spirit of God wholly (spirit, soul and body)

There are people who think that after a divorce, they are doing well financially and their ex partner is in ruins. They attribute this to the fact that God is blessing them and therefore it was right for them to divorce. Simply because they have more money they conclude that God is telling them that He approves of them leaving their partner. Others, say that they asked God if they should take a new job with a new company and God told them to go ahead. Nowadays, it is so widespread to believe that God speaks to everyone just as He spoke to the prophets. But its not a voice or a dream or a vision. It is only a feeling. True, God speaks in the congregation and He admonishes, instructs and reproves according to the written word. If God has really spoken to us, then by all means we must say it. But if it is just a feeling of peace or whatever else people feel, then we must not say "The Lord told me". Because it is not true.

That being said, we need to realize that the biggest difference between the OT and the NT believer is that the NT believer is not being guided by an external thing such as the outward observance of laws (carnal commandments as the Bible calls them), but the NT believer is a New creation and has God living on the inside of them. "The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God" - Romans 8:16 Also "For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said, “I will dwell in them and walk among them; And I will be their God, and they shall be My people. - 2 Corinthians 6:16 So the reason we have the Bible is so that we may come into a living relationship with the God of the Bible. Him living right on the inside of us through the Holy Spirit. Hence the NT believer is led from the inside by God himself as Hebrews 8:11 says. So yes I agree that we shouldn't fall victim to every whimsical thought and feeling, but at the same time God lives on the inside of every believer and guides them individually in his will. We cannot therefore separate the Bible from the active, daily guidance of the Spirit on the inside (what we call that is not the main subject). In fact it's through the Bible that we understand and accept that God lives inside of us. Obviously this opens a can of worms and people may say all sorts of things and claim it's God but the Bible gives us guidance on how to test every work and by their fruit we know who is of God. We should never limit the implications of the word of God for the purposes of avoiding error. That only leads to error in itself. Sorry long post

For me I am coming from a realization that much UA-cam content is error hunting or error avoiding rather than affirming what is truly true. I think the issue of God speaking is a sensitive issue and prone to abuse but it's an inescapable fact of the Christian life that God lives on the inside of the NT believer and scary as it sounds he speaks to believers daily. So I would still say we should focus on how we can know whether what we feel/sense is from God because it is through the Bible that we know that he promised he will be with us and in us I am sure we agree on the fundamentals of the faith

This is another way that I believe how God speaks to us, through human interactions and conversations, "Iron sharpens Iron" so to speak. Personally, I have never heard a voice or had a dream or a vison. So, I take great care not say "God spoke to me" in that manner. However, I would feel perfectly justified in saying "God commanded me in Mathew 5..." Also, everyone that I have met who spoke in tongues or prophesied, did not have a trustworthy message. At best, I think that the Holy Spirit reminds us of bible verses in our daily lives and by meditating on those verses, further wisdom is revealed. But I think that it absolutely crazy that almost all mainline Christians believe that God speaks to them. They believe this because that is what they are being taught. So in reality, they are learning to trust their own thoughts and opinions instead of searching the scriptures or praying and asking God for guidance.

in the summer of 2020, i was having all these dreams of fire; specifically, my province of british columbia, was burning. it led me to search God's word and pray more than i had ever before in my life. in the summer of 2021, the forest fires burned out of control all over my province. 2 years later, i'm still on fire for the Lord. i believe He used dreams to wake me up that i would seek after Him, His kingdom and His righteousness first. reading & studying His word daily has set me free from a lot of lies i believed.
I had a vision of the end times (before covid hit) in December 27th of 2019. It was wild. Never had one like this. I knew right away it was from God and I knew this wasn’t a “dream”

Yes! That’s how I came to God. Grew up in the church but didn’t believe. I’d go to Church bc my family made me And would cringe and feel uncomfortable every time I heard the name of Jesus. I saw his beautiful feet. Then last year during a time of distress I had a vision while awake/eyes open of Jesus in wrath. After that day I couldn’t deny his existence and gave my life to Christ.
My Grandmother once told me that God gave her a dream about having to take care of me. That was true - I was abused by my dad and I was depressed for most of my life.. I didn't want to live. A few years before she passed away, she got to see me become a Christian, lose weight, have a decent job, and generally overall happier person.

I was at work and as was listening to Gospel music actually a song from the singing Cookes... while standing in front of my machine I was at Church with my wife who is not saved. I seen her kneeling down at the Alter I was standing close to her then she got up tears in her eyes I knew she was Born Again I hugged her and that was it.... I have only shared this with just a few brothers and sisters.... I have not shared it with my wife. I definitely will when she accepts the Lord I most definitely still witness to her .... But I know what I seen and I was crying at my machine praising God.... I believe in What God showed me and I praise him and thank him. This is nothing for me to boast about as I have not... But I am sharing and when my wife gets Saved I will praise and thank the Lord Jesus Christ 🙏

I do believe God still speaks to us through dreams. As a young girl God has showed me dreams about people that have came to past. God even showed me that I would have a son. When he was born he looked just the way I saw him in the dream. At one point in my life I didn't think I could have kids. I believe God still speaks to us in dreams

In July 2004... They wanted me to take this certain anxiety med.... They told me it might make me "feel funny" but keep taking it ...I was burdened by it and prayed out to God to please give me a sign should I be taking this (I don't deserve it, didnt have scripture to claim but i requested from him) I always had the tv on by the bed....I was awaking by my eye lids slowly opening by a presence, like hands... When my eyes were open, on the tv was a commercial that said..."if you are taking this "med" disregard and join this lawsuit"... When I said "oh,ok, thanks" , those "hands" closed my eyes lids and I was back to sleep...he definitely can give you a sign...oh and this is not to discourage anyone from meds...this was my incident and this med
I've had dreams and I know a brother in Christ who told me about a vision he had that came true. For me, it has only been a small handful though and doesn't happen often. I don't expect anyone to believe me so I don't talk about it often.

Yes Yes Yes, God has used me many times showing me things in dreams. The first time when I was around 4 years old. The last time was about 4 weeks ago. I saw my son attacked in his neck area and saw the wound it left in the dream. I called my son that morning and prayed with him. The next couple of days he called me and told me he was house sitting and while he was playing with the dog he was attacked and bitten in the neck. Because we prayed I feel the would was less severe. I don't dream every night but when God wants to show me something He uses dreams.

Women and men receive these gifts of visions and dreams, I am a woman and I receive visions and dreams that both line up with Biblical Scripture. Sometimes God will speak to me to give me something about a particular thing or person or about myself as a testimony for someone else and it would be later that I realized what he had shown or spoken to me spiritually was written in the Bible that I had never seen until after the fact. but this is an awesome discussion to have and there are a lot of deceptionist so this is where the WORD of GOD shines light on that deception, the gift of the Holy Spirit, the gift of discernment, and that personal relationship with God comes in handy, working for the good of the Body of Jesus Christ. You don't have to personally have read a particular Bible Scripture, and God will give you that particular scripture directly, or through people or a person in the body of Christ. However HE gives it its gonna line up with HIS WORD, and be understood at some point, to the person giving it and the receiver. To GOD be the glory, and Im thankful for HIM using you, and your obedience to follow and study HIS WORD (HIS WORD). The Shalom of the LORD be upon you.

Yes, I had one. Back in 2019 I had a very vivid dream that I was in a building that looked like a church but inside of it the further I walked one room had a hospital, the other had a morgue and then the other had what looked like normal church benches. Now as I walked further down the hallway there were dead Asian bodies all over the floor, bloody and gruesome. This was January 2019 ...I had not watched TV since 2014, I wasn't doing anything to give me these thoughts and I don't know not 1 Asian person currently. Fast forward to 2020 I remembered this dream when they were piling up those dead bodies in wuhan china,and also what was happening with the church and the deaths and the medical system. So yes he does. P.s the dream was so horrific in sight I couldn't sleep straight for months, even asked my mother to pray for me and that's not something i typically do either....I also had the dream before I was baptised. Wasn't baptised until later that year.

As Christians, sometimes we act like the world. We are very quick to ask for dream interpretation, either by a dream book (including "Christian" dream book), a "prophet" or a Christian friend to determine what a number represents, an animal represents, even a deceased relative represents, etc... in a dream.
Scripture clearly states that a dream is caused by much effort (busyness of life, including conversations, worries, concerns, desires, anxiety, music, movies, etc...). Just because you had a dream, does not mean it was God-inspired (i.e. Acts 16: 9-10).
"For the dream comes through much effort, and the voice of a fool through many words." - Ecclesiates 5:3
"For in many dreams and in many words there is futility. Rather, fear God." - Ecclesiates 5:7
People will exclaim that Joseph had a dream (Genesis 37:5-9). He did. However, there is no biblical support that it was interpreted. But Pharaoh had a dream, then Joseph interpreted it (Genesis 41:1-36). Yes, he did. But Nebuchadnezzar had a dream, then Daniel interpreted it (Daniel 2). Yes, he did. Both situations were ungodly men who did not know God.
We as Christians should be seeking God and His Holy Word as the directive and authority in our lives, not a dream. We as New Covenant believers have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit (John 14:26, 16:13) to lead and guide us.
We can and will fall into the trap of "I want more" than Scripture. These are the pitfalls of transcendental, mystic, horoscope, new age, higher power, palm reading, leaf teas, false prophecy, "a word from the Lord", "I heard the Lord say", "I had a dream about.....", etc....falling prey to itching ears (2 Tim 4:3) and exploitation (2 Peter 2: 1-3).
The latter part of Ecclesiastes 5:7 proclaims "RATHER, FEAR (REVERANCE) GOD".
I've had dreams come to pass that the enemy, in every way he tried, could not have predicted. I've recognized visitations from the Holy Spirit or God, and the tone of the dream shifts completely when they visit. And, when I've asked, dreams that have revealed certain things. Yes, we should be seeking God, but we aren't supposed to set aside our dreams just because we don't believe in them. The enemy may also use our dreams against us; this is why it's crucial to understand the difference between dreams and ask the Holy Spirit to decipher it for you if you have trouble doing so. Dreams can come from 3 sources: your own mind, the devil, or God. In everything, we must test the spirit. But don't let the enemy fool you into thinking your dreams don't mean anything.
Joseph’s brothers and parents interpreted his dream that was before He had the gift of interpretation.
“And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.”
God does speak to His prophets this way. Some people have several dreams at night at day anytime they close their eyes. God is always speaking to His prophets. Regular people believer and unbelievers will also have dreams just not as much or as often as the servants of Yah.

@@phirephly4588 just things pertinent to my future. A few BIG ones have been a dream my dad was going to die. He wasn't dying, he just died of a blood clot. But I had the dream that let me know about 2 weeks prior. Then I saw my daughter before she was born, as a toddler and then the dream happened in real life, causing deja Vu, but I remembered the dream, so it wasn't deja Vu, but a future event revealed to me. When I was 19 in the Marines, my Marine buddy totaled a car on the test drive. I was in the backseat without my seatbelt on. All windows down, sunroof open and we rolled over several times. I thought I was outta here, but a voice said "wrap your left arm around the drivers headrest, and with your right hand grab the handle above you and hold on." Without those instructions I would've been ejected. There's a lot more, but He does reveal stuff to me in dreams.
I have so many dreams but I had one kinda similar to yours. Dreamt my sister and I were in a car accident. Told her about the dream and within a week the accident happened just like the dream showed me. She was shocked. Thank God it was a minor accident. And I was in my early teens but He still reveals things to me in dreams.
I agree with you brother the way God communicates with us is primarily through the scriptures as I experienced. As I read the scriptures I would be rebuked and chastened and change to be more like Jesus Christ, I know we continue to grow throughout our lives but God is big. I did have a vision 3 months after I became a Christian as I used to be atheist for most of my life. It's a long story but will try to shorten it!
In 2013 I was trying to prove God was not true as I studied different religions not to be true and the one I had a problem proving not true was the Bible as I studied for months day and night. One night as I was studying at around 2:30 in the morning I thought to my self God might be true and I got on my knees and told God if he was true to forgive me of all my sins and to change me. I got up as I cried with peace in my heart and went to bed. I had nightmares for most of my life and always dreamed of killing people and that night I fell asleep and started to dream of telling God to forgive me of specific sins and in the day time I would remember specific sins and tel God to forgive me this happened for 7 days and 7 nights straight. Those dreams stopped but them I dreamed of preaching to people in my dreams. I don't remember really having nightmares since then but maybe 3 times since then which it's been 9years. 3 months after I gave myself to God on May 20,2013 God spoke to me audibly and gave me a vision while I was driving earlier in the morning as I was in a red-light. As soon as I stopped on the red light everything turned black and a small hole and inside a bright light as I was looking at it it felt like someone got my head and pushed me toward the light and as I looked in it like a window my nose didn't pass inside it and as I was looking God spoke to me and said tell Travis that this is where he is going and talk to him about me. As God was speaking to me I could feel the love of God in me and it was so great the I can't explain with words and I could see the light going inside my body like the rays of the sun. As soon as God finished talking the vision went away and I could see. I started to cry of happiness and could not speak . My wife and son were in the car and my wife thought I was having a panic attack but all I could do was tell her with my hands I could not talk as I tried talking and nothing would come out. 10 minutes past and I could barely speak and I told my wife what happened and she asked who is Travis and I said a man I picked up in Dialysis center that looked sick and gave him a ride home. She asked me when are you going to tell him and I told her whenever I see him as I don't know him and don't know where he is, I thought to it would probably be in a long time and told her. As I took my wife to the Dialysis center Travis was sitting there again and my wife looked at me and said with a smile good luck because she knew I did not like talking about God , she was a Christian. I called Travis and he came and asked if he was OK but told me it was weird that he has been waiting for his ride for 3 to 4 hours. I knew it was God and just said you want a ride as I thought if I tell him out of the car what God told me he would think I'm crazy leave. As I drove I didn't know how to tell him but I told him I had something to tell him about God and I started telling him and he just stayed quiet for an awkward moment and he said it's true, I asked what's true? He said I have been asking God if I was going to heaven because I'm scared of dying for a year and a half and he sent you. Then he asked me when am I dying I told him God did not say when your dying just showed me heaven and told me that you would be going and for me to talk to you about him. Travis told me yes tell me everything about God and I told him I don't know to much because I just became a Christian but will tell you what I know. This is much longer because God spoke to me audibly 2 more times that day about my father-in-law and the other about me . The one about me was something I was doing that was not good and to stop. Sorry was so long but God has not spoken to me audibly since then but only through the word of God and has chastened me and is changing me to be more like Jesus Christ. God bless you brother
Wonderful testimony. This is how we live out the will of God for our lives. We allow him to guide us the way he wills. We shouldn't put limits to how and when he can speak to us.

Every since I turned 12 years old God has been showing me Dreams and Visions when I turned 12 years old God had taken me to HeavenThe SKY opened up and I saw the white clouds open and then I saw the blue sky open up and then I was in Heaven I Saw 2 Angels at first and they asked how can they help me I told them that I needed a white Robe they told me to look in the Linen Closet I came out fully dressed from my Head to my Feet I went a little Farther I went to a nother door there I met a man at that door he led me inside a Room he asked me my name and then he asked my age I begin to cry he asked me when I was born I begin to cry.he walked me a little farther I saw 6 men on the front row and 6 men on the second row they was waiting in that room also the man knocked in that door an said he will. That is how God speaks to me and tells me things. I came to Christ when I was asleep and Jesus came to me in a dream and handed me a Bible. I was very much an atheist and actively against the faith. Anyway, since that day I’ve never turned back.
And 12 years later, God continues to speak to me through dreams. I dream of things before they happen. I dream about what’s happening in someone’s life, only to approach them with the dream and they are completely shocked at the accuracy of my dream. It gives me an opportunity to pray and intercede on their behalf.
Some dreams require interpretation, and God will give you interpretation through His word.
Examples of things I’ve dreamt before they came to pass; twice dreamt my best friend was pregnant out of wedlock, 3 months later it happened; dreamt my mother in law was really unwell, 2/3 months later she was diagnosed with colon cancer.

I wish people would stop putting limits on God. We don’t serve a mute God. He is alive and active. His Word is alive and active. Intelligence can only get us so far. The Antichrist was spoken about but His name wasn’t written yet God has revealed it to His prophets to warn the body of Christ. Mystery Babylon was a Mystery until God revealed what nation it is. The people who think every detail is written down will be the ones loosing out on the revelation. Whatever God is speaking can correlate to the scriptures but it’s new revelation that unless you got it you wouldn’t know. When I was dating I would ask God to show me if the man wasn’t good. When I prayed that I would have a nightmare about the man THAT SAME NIGHT. Twice God showed me they had anger issues. I finally met a man where I asked God and didn’t get a nightmare.
A relationship with God is not a one way thing. We speak to Him through prayer and he speaks to us through intuitive guidance and various phenomena. These include, but are not limited to, the use of scripture. As many as are led by the Spirit of God they are the sons of God. This Spirit is also the Spirit of truth, the Comforter who our Lord mentions in John 14. The Bible does not tell any Christian exactly who they should marry. It is through discernment that certain man and woman recognize each other as their lifelong happiness partner.

God definitely speaks through dream. I’ve been a Christian all my life and I’ve always loved the lord but in my early teens, I began moving with the wrong crowd and went a little bit astray (still loved the lord and struggled to find my way back), in the summer of 2021 I was tired of that lifestyle and was desperate to find forgiveness, one night I had a dream where I encountered the Lord and miraculously got healed of drug addiction and other addictions just to keep it short, since that day I’ve been dreaming like 20 times more than I used to , I dream like 7 times in a day or even more, my dreams are mostly prophetic about things about myself and the world at large. God speaks through dreams for real. God is real, Jesus is real, The Holy Spirit is real, believe and be saved
I believe it depends on the person's heart and their circumstances. They could have dreams and/or visions. But i think it would be things that drew them to call on Christ... and other "specific reasons" like how to win another soul to Christ.. things like that

I know God still gives dreams. I have had many dreams all my life. In 2020, my dream life was very active. I actually dreamt that when the church reopened in 2020, the children’s church was going to be held outside. I posted it on FB the day of the dream. I have had so many other dreams.

Those that swear blind that God speaks to them in dreams will not believe anything else. Similar to those that speak in gibberish and say it's genuine tongues, their subjective experiences to be in union with God is more important to them than what Scripture says. Testing the Spirits is the last thing on their minds especially when they think that they are at the centre of their experiences not God.
no gibberish in my walk only a gift that started with a rush of wind in a dream then another then another even harder one just to keep it short it ended with wings and me on one knee and fire every were around me I left most of the events out seeing how you wouldn't believe anyway but for me it acted as a key to open up the scripture to me it brought the bible to life for me I had just signed up for a baptism then the spirit planted in me threw this biblical event the desire to have answers that pertain to what had happened and all Scripture or as much as I could understand in one life

Every time I’ve had dreams or visions given by God, they are always backed up with his word, and that’s how I know it was from God. We have to discern what’s from God and what’s from the devil. Dreams and visions have been abused just like tongues and prophesy. But when God gives me dreams it’s to repent about something, forgive someone, apologize to someone, etc…
The Bible is the inerrant word of God. But what is the Bible? It's the mind of God revealed to mankind through history by way of Visions, Dreams, inspired writing and Audible voice.
"for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God."

To say "God speaks to us through the Bible" is to admit that God speaks through Visions and dreams. The Bible itself gives us no reason to believe that Visions and dreams will cease. The evidence is to the contrary.
Do we equate every dream and vision to the Bible? The answer is no. The real discussion should therefore be on how we can know for certain that a dream or vision is from God. This the Bible itself does provide and answer to.
The risk of ungodly source of dreams and visions is not higher today than in the past. In fact the Bible tells us that there has always been false prophecies. So we should never raise the issue of ungodly dreams as an argument against dreams and visions today
The Bible does say when these gifts will end.
For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

I have no solid answer of yes or no on this topic, but I was having a conversation with one of my Christian mentors on this subject less than an hour ago. I feel this is an area of my life that I am struggling with right now because it is attached to something that will glorify God but that my human desire could also twist into confusion and misunderstanding.
I won’t explain more I don’t feel it’s necessary or appropriate at this time and as well I wouldn’t consider this video a confirmation from God at this time, but I also don’t believe that this video was a coincidence for where I am in my life currently.
I will be more aware of my surroundings and continue growing to be a smart Christian.

Ive had dreams to come true and visions. The last vision I had was. One morning when i woke up an hour before i had to go to work, i had my eyes closed but wasnt sleep. i was day dreaming and all of a sudden appeared a cicrle on the bottom left hand side corner a m an looking like and dressed in brown like a mechanic or the may tag man was inside the circle. He said you better go check your front tire on the right side. I got up out of bed and went outside to check and saw that i had a flat tire on the right front side, just like he had said. I just shook my head and said OMG its happening again. Thanking God i called someone to help me .They fixed the tire i went to work ,thanking God all the way. What do you make of that?

Corey back in 2005 I had a dream and the dream was that I was going out walking and talking to people I don't know what I was saying but I felt like I was telling people about God and gold precious diamonds and stones we're falling out of my mouth onto the ground a lot of it. At first I was vexed and I just kept wondering what did it mean. Now that God has delivered me out of a church full of false Prophets and I am telling them about sound doctrine and letting them know that their tongues are not true tongues is this what God was showing me that I'm actually now telling people about sound doctrine because we had women preachers and and pastors
My one critique of this video is how can we know if a dream given by God is or isn't ultimately glorifying God if it seems to be self centered at first i.e. Joseph's dream about his family bowing to him.

I belive that dreams are still around because I have since I was a girl, but I believe it is gonna mainly be for that person to apply to their life or family..
For example I needed a car and I had money but I just wanted to make the right decision on what direction to go. I ask God about and told him of my fear. God gave me a dream concerning the car then he spoke to me after the dream on how where I can go to find the car it was within my price range a little bit lower and have my price range the car lasted me no problem I was able to give it to my sister when I was ready to buy me a new car and she still have it now

I have been having visions and dreams daily since September of 2017, that was the month that the Revelation 12 alignment took place, and a period of intense, and frequent end time signs have been happening!
In my visions I see Jesus’ children being ‘caught up’ and going through a doorway into heaven, then that door closes very quickly. I have seen Jesus in my dreams, and He told me He was coming to take me out of this place, in another dream Jesus spoke to me in another language, and I spoke back to him in that same language, but I do not know what was said.
The prophecy in Acts is written in Joel also.

Yes God works though dreams and vision even today. In Acts 2:17, Peter says that they will have dreams and visions. They were not presented themselves to the converts by telling them about a dream are vision that they had. This statement of this fulfillment was separate from what was going on at that time. It is not part of the gifts of the Spirit. But it is surely part of God talking to us by the Spirit. I dream of the wife I should marry. We are now married 54 years. The great gifts of the Spirit have just about disappeared. But God still works though us by Communicating to us by his Spirit, though dreams vision and also by the moves of the Holy Spirit., that we can fill moving and in our hearts. The Holy Spirit teaches us, 1 John 2:27. The Holy Spirit guides us and leads us in the way we should go. I have just signed on to your teaching on ytube. Even though we may have a differents of opinion on some subjects i will keep listening to you.
Dreams and visions are just a portal whereby the physical realm communicates with the physical. If the is a God why would he stop communicating with his people?

Yahuah does not only speak to you through His Word. He comes in many ways because He is not a God that can be placed under human limitations. I've had dreams that were clearly either something that would come to pass or simply just visitations. Some of them were warnings. The tones of the dream are mostly the same when He comes by, and they happen when I least expect it. He is the Creator of everything! How can He not choose what shape or form He will present Himself to you?
Also, it's interesting that the verse you chose is so simple, and yet you've still managed to twist it. He clearly stated He will pour out His Spirit in the last days. How do you manage to twist it? Do not limit the Almighty Father. He is not confined to our interpretation of Him. He works beyond our imagination.

I seen this UA-cam preacher (Johnny Chang) say that GOD no longer speaks to us through dreams, he speaks to us through SCRIPTURE ONLY. I don't think this can be true. GOD has spoken to me through dreams many times. What do you think of the preachers who say that GOD no longer speaks to us through dreams??

Before Jesus signs and wonders were how God manifested Himself to us. Now that the Bible is complete not only the book but that prophecy God spoke of in the beginning of His Son being the propitiation of His wrath for us through faith if we believe. Yea all that has been perfected. No longer do we look to a miracle to find faith. We look to what Jesus did in Faith.
Im leary of anyone who claims something other than the Word that God showed or told them. God gave us His Word in completion so we would know Him and know His plan. According to Him thats all we need not visions or dreams just His Word. Apart from that i wont believe you.
Also claiming God told me this only builds up thyself not the gospel. Gods purpose or will is to pronounce the Glory of His Son. He is not willing that any perish but that all be led to repentance.
Yes God could, look at all He has created, a dream is nothing in His realm of possibilities, but will He? And does His Word back that up?

If you get married to someone, and you act horribly. You cuss and swear, you drink and party, you live like your single. Is that an indication that you're not really married? Maybe to the people around you but not to your spouse. You are still married. So how can how a Christian lives weather it be Godly or not, be an indication that someone is not really a believer?
The thing that I'm struggling with is that as Christians I hope we can all at least agree that Jesus died for ALL our sins. And Christians still have a flesh to contend with. So could it be that a person that is living worldly, or living how they lived before they supposedly became a believer, is just a bad child of God? If not, why not?

If he is no respecter of person, then why would he come to anyone when we have his message, and he said not to add to it in Rev22:18. It would be mass confusion and how can we trust everyone who has these dreams and visions.We can't, lest one falls into the hands of you know who.

I'm quite sure that many people if not all claiming visions and dreams on UA-cam and christian television are lying, I do not trust them based on their strange false doctrines.
I found most of these people on UA-cam to be on UA-cam anyone can easily get on UA-cam and even the blind leads the blind meaning anyone can preach anything and some fool or fools will follow lol the scriptures are clear and self revealing if you are truly born again the Holy Spirit will lead you and guide you into All Truth and shew you things to come only the ungodly and unholy wrestle with the scriptures
A great number of Christians are being taught to trust their own thoughts rather than God's commands in their lives. They sometimes pray and they feel as though God answered them and they go with that, rather than the written word which God has kept for us for thousands of years. The whole thing is based on feelings and personal opinions and not on sound doctrine.
It would be sad if anyone were to teach someone to trust their own thoughts of feelings. At the same time the Christian life would be impossible without our thoughts and feelings. Our thoughts and feelings are not the source of doctrine but we were sanctified so that we may serve the Lord with all our being

It would be impossible to live the will of God for our lives were it not for the fact that our spirit bears witness with His Spirit. How else were we to set aside time to pray, fast, worship etc were it not for the fact that sometimes we do FEEL the need to set aside time with God?
Feelings and thoughts have suffered the double tragedy of being ignored or made to lead. Feelings in particular have a bad rep but sanctified believers ought to be tuned in to the Spirit of God wholly (spirit, soul and body)

Hello friend in Christ, I agree with your points in that respect. What people are being taught however is something totally different. There are people who think that after a divorce, they are doing well financially and their ex partner is in ruins. They attribute this to the fact that God is blessing them and therefore it was right for them to divorce. Simply because they have more money they conclude that God is telling them that He approves of them leaving their partner. Others, say that they asked God if they should take a new job with a new company and God told them to go ahead. Nowadays, it is so widespread to believe that God speaks to everyone just as He spoke to the prophets. But its not a voice or a dream or a vision. It is only a feeling. True, God speaks in the congregation and He admonishes, instructs and reproves according to the written word. If God has really spoken to us, then by all means we must say it. But if it is just a feeling of peace or whatever else people feel, then we must not say "The Lord told me".

That being said, we need to realize that the biggest difference between the OT and the NT believer is that the NT believer is not being guided by an external thing such as the outward observance of laws (carnal commandments as the Bible calls them), but the NT believer is a New creation and has God living on the inside of them.

So the reason we have the Bible is so that we may come into a living relationship with the God of the Bible. Him living right on the inside of us through the Holy Spirit. Hence the NT believer is led from the inside by God himself as Hebrews 8:11 says.
So yes I agree that we shouldn't fall victim to every whimsical thought and feeling, but at the same time God lives on the inside of every believer and guides them individually in his will.
We cannot therefore separate the Bible from the active, daily guidance of the Spirit on the inside (what we call that is not the main subject). In fact it's through the Bible that we understand and accept that God lives inside of us.
Obviously this opens a can of worms and people may say all sorts of things and claim it's God but the Bible gives us guidance on how to test every work and by their fruit we know who is of God. We should never limit the implications of the word of God for the purposes of avoiding error. That only leads to error in itself.

For me I am coming from a realization that much UA-cam content is error hunting or error avoiding rather than affirming what is truly true. I think the issue of God speaking is a sensitive issue and prone to abuse but it's an inescapable fact of the Christian life that God lives on the inside of the NT believer and scary as it sounds he speaks to believers daily.
So I would still say we should focus on how we can know whether what we feel/sense is from God because it is through the Bible that we know that he promised he will be with us and in us
I am sure we agree on the fundamentals of the faith

Please do not apologize, I enjoy these conversations and very frequently, they give me a different perspective and further my knowledge. This is another way that I believe how God speaks to us, through human interactions and conversations, "Iron sharpens Iron" so to speak. Personally, I have never heard a voice or had a dream or a vison. So, I take great care not say "God spoke to me" in that manner. However, I would feel perfectly justified in saying "God commanded me in Mathew 5..."
Also, everyone that I have met who spoke in tongues or prophesied, did not have a trustworthy message.
At best, I think that the Holy Spirit reminds us of bible verses in our daily lives and by meditating on those verses, further wisdom is revealed. But I think that it absolutely crazy that almost all mainline Christians believe that God speaks to them. They believe this because that is what they are being taught. So in reality, they are learning to trust their own thoughts and opinions instead of searching the scriptures or praying and asking God for guidance.
