One of his best short films! It had actual members of two rival gangs, the Bloods and the Crips. Please react to Thriller - it’s so iconic!!! Is that a Peter Pan/MJ blanket behind you???
That's so interesting. Only MJ could manage that! And no, that's a blanket from Honey's favorite anime movie called, "Spirited Way." Also, we'll be doing "Thriller" very soon!
Beat it goes so hard till this day, even better that the vids in 4k I saw details that werent there before due to the quality of the vid years ago. We still need that Thriller doc too
Fun fact: The guitar solo was done by Eddie Van Halen from one of the iconic rock groups of the 80s Van Halen. The guitar riff is regarded as one of the iconic riffs of all time. Also, if I read it right, it was the first ever Pop & rock cross over.
For me the greatest song of all time. I understand music is subjective, but I don't get these comments below talking "commerical" "musical" blah blah. Beauty can come from simplicity, complexity is not necessary. And MJ was a genius at finding beauty in simplicity. Again this is my greatest song and greatest music video ever. The only song on Thriller that comes close to this is Billie Jean. Beat It and Billie Jean are "musically" the best songs of the album.
8:35 as a huge Michael Jackson fan I felt this. I mean c’mon look at me lol I’m not the most masculine looking guy. My soft features and long hair don’t help lol
Michael was such a beautiful human being! And I love that even as a man, he knows there's more to being a "man", than just fighting and being "tough." It takes true strength to walk away or solve the problems with words at first. Hey! Thank you for sharing with us! We think you're beautiful! Love your name as well!
With the Thriller Album, Michael Jackson was the first black artist to have videos aired on MTV and that helped other black music artists gain mainstream recognition/appeal. The popularity of his videos, such as "Beat It" and "Billie Jean", helped to place the young channel "on the map" and MTV's focus shifted in favor of pop and R&B. Michael Jackson transformed the medium of music videos/short films into an art form and promotional tool through the use of complex story lines, dance routines, special effects and cameo appearances by well known personalities etc. MJ Is The Greatest Music Artist To Ever Live The King Of Music Truly Forever!🙌🏽👑💝🔥✨💯(“Beat It” ~ Some have modernized the song simply cause of the songs title but that’s only cause they’re jerks and think everything has sexual undertones well it doesn’t the CLEAN term of "beat it" means to "get out." The song is about avoiding violence before it goes too far. His songs usually have great messages with the right combo of lyrics and production to make it a masterclass song. Also The Red Jacket Is Absolutely Legendary,Truly Iconic MJ’s Fashion Sense Is Unmatched! And Fun Fact: This was my absolute first time ever discovering Michael Jackson My Idol Ever! The moment I seen him in the Beat It Music Video is the moment I became a lifetime Moonwalker for eternity)
I wanna see Thriller/The Making Of Thriller,They Don’t Care About Us,or Black or White next I gotta see you guys tackle those specific songs/short films cause those will be BANGER REACTIONS!😮💨👌🏽👑🔥
@@honey.brown.nerdrealm Yes it’s apart of the history of Thriller and “The Making Of Thriller” is the best selling VHS Tape of all time! And I sent you the stuff of John Landis speaking on Thriller and the Mini Doc in 4K💯

👍 Fantastic reaction as always to an iconic song. Would love to see in the future a reaction to a live performance of Beat It as well. Can't wait for more.
I've seen this video many times over 40 years, and If It wasn't for someone recently on Twitter I would have never noticed that this video also has the world's worse dancer at 7:19 to Michael's right 😆
PLS PLS PLSSSSSS REACT TO “FOR ALL TIME” BY MJ PLSSSS I SWEAR YOU WONT BE DISSAPOINTED PLSS IVE BEEN FOLLOWING YOU GUYS FOR A LONG TIME AND REALLY LOVE YOUR REACTIONS
Hi guys! New sub here because of Michael Jackson. Im also a filipina.. and a huge fan of MJ since i was 10 yrs old up to this day. Just found your channel and wow! Saw all your mj reactions and this is the kind of reaction I've been longing for! So excited to see more... i hope you could react on his song called "Little Susie". Its kind of a dark song. I want to know how you guys could figure out the meaning of the song. Hehe. More power on your channel guys! Love it so much!
Hey! Welcome! We are genuinely so happy and blessed you discovered our channel! It's amazing people such as yourself that creates this wonderful community. We hope you stick around because there's a lot more MJ reactions (along with other music reactions) coming! We're never ending this channel! Much love and appreciation from the both of us!
People forget the importance of this song. Thriller sales were beginning to slow down and then this song came out and it reignited the massive sales boost again. Those opening chords echo the hundreds of flash mobs that appeared after MJs death. No one will ever ever have the impact MJ had on people. With this song he crossed over to rock fans, and still to this day you have metalheads that still have such love for MJ literally cos he appealed to every single demographic in the world. He appealed to 4 generations. Your grandma would love the older stuff and the young kids would like the newer stuff. He was an extremely special human being.
Oh wow! I never knew that part. That's so fascinating! Almost a resurgence of MJ and the "Thriller" era with this track! And I totally agree with you. MJ's music is such a transcendent experience. It truly has generational appeal. That's when you can see the power and beauty that is MJ's magic and talent!

Yeah, that guitar in this song is an absolute beast! Figures it would be from an iconic guitar player!
Fun fact: Mike actually hired real gang members in this video to create peace between them.
