You said it, the real King of Rock and Roll wasn't Elvis Presley. It was Chuck Berry. In terms of his enormous influence, NOBODY has ever come close to him in terms of his songwriting, his guitar playing, his singing, and his live performance. From the Beatles to the Stones and right up till today--- Chuck is the King of them all!
Love your Strat Man.... sweet.. and your makin' that sucker rock... I can remember staying up all night dropping the needle on this album learning all the licks and songs...... all night.. Cheers!
I have a 1976 strat just like this...but a lot more distressed...hence it was £1000 ($1160) in 2006...but it sounds like this and it's a joy to play...It had white knobs so I changed them to black (but kept the original ones obviously...so it could always go back to 100% original)...I don't care if Fenders were bad at that time or you don't like the big headstock or the bullet...It still smacks of quality when you hold it and plug it in....You learn something new and it feels difficult, then you try it on the '76 strat and it's suddenly a lot easier...weird!
Countless players do this ,but few do it with such perfect feeling.....Sound also spot on ! Extra points for getting Keef's Gibson humbucker sound from this Fender....
I've listened many times to this and thought I heard a 3rd guitar in the solo . I FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT. WAYNE is doing that playing on the high strings and alternating bending the 3rd and 4, strings up
Yeah, I know what you mean. He's pretty good though, isn't he? Have you watched him do The Stones' live cover of "Let It Rock" from the '71 tour? Just brilliant.
Great job - you made my day. This has been a favorite since YaYas came out. Used to crank YaYas before lax games to get fired up. Cranked it at parties and people started boogying!
Great videos............Any chance you could repost Sweet Virginia without the Stones track, they're blocking it because of copywrite..................
Really enjoyable! I think you are great on these 'lessons'. You very sensibly remain seated. Nobody moves like Keith!! ps I invited my guitar playing nephew Jonny to have mastered 'Hang Fire' by Xmas, hope he's going to deliver!
I attended that (Oakland’69 late) show. Ike & Tina Turner Review opened, then BB King, then Stones. At the end everyone was dancing on the floor. Wow! A highlight of Bay Area times. Thanks for the excellent rendition.
I have been all over the net for Bass tab for this song, after watching you would think just a shuffle in A, but when ya listen to Bill Wyman, he is gittin it!
Standard tuning ..open E..open G..all I need to know is what tuning...I can do the rest..by the way .your very, very good..would like to learn from u ..please!!
Perfect playing. I wish you would face the guitar more to the screen so we could see where you place your fingers. Anyway you could do a brief video how to play the licks you are doing. Thanks
Great playing and great tone! The same can be said about all your other covers. Great job!
it's 2023
this I still really good..congrats. veruy..impressive
Charlie's good tonight ain't he
かっちょいー!
Of course... it's the official version of the Rolling Stones...
But how COVER... If it's the best...\(^o^)/
You’ve got that great ‘chug-chug-chug’ rhythm Keith is renowned for off pat!
To get an idea of just how good Chuck was, remember he could do all that and more whilst duck walking and dancing across the stage, singing etc

@@joepalooka2145 TRUTH! And that's my fav Stones Version of anything !
Great cover man Keef is smiling 🎸

There's only two types of music.
Rock& Roll.
One of the best covers i ever heard, from the best live act the stones ever did
I was at that show Mick said hello to me while he was waiting to go up on the stage."welcome to the breakfast show" !
Cool
Bruce Bruce I would've DIED!!! Lucky you!!!
bwaka ng ina mo Bruce so ilang taon ka na ngayon iho....

Keith is using a 355 on this. Actually don’t think he used a Fender the whole ‘69 Tour.
This is fucking faultless, as is the rest of your covers. show your face, are you Mick Taylor????. Lol. Superb.
He is playing Keith's part. Keith never let Taylor play lead on any Berry covers
@@omeletpants Taylor played notable lead parts on Bye Bye Johnny when it was on their setlist from 72-73
That's Keith playing lead,end of story,period!
M T didn't always play all the lead or coolest parts during his tenure
Even Jimmy Page said nobody plays Chuck Berry riffs like Keith does!
Thanks for your great. One of the most accurate Stones covers around. Hope you do some more in the future 😃🫶
Another example of perfect rock and roll drumming by the master, Charlie Watts.
I've listened many times to this and thought I heard a 3rd guitar in the solo . I FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT. WAYNE is doing that playing on the high strings and alternating bending the 3rd and 4, strings up
BEST COVER EVER on the STONES......Don't know where you've gone HAPPYHOTSTAR but you NEED to COME BACK.....totally AWESOME!!!!!
Ahh that's a shame! He's a fantastic player, really authentic....
God! I hope he makes it. Please, God, save this man. There is only one of him, Stacey.
@@staceyhurn9733 I'm really sorry to hear this. Is he OK? And it would it be OK to let us know his name? These videos are absolutely brilliant.
@@brucekeddyarmstrong The famous WAYNE PERKINS- played with and recorded on Stones tracks... look him up on Wikipedia... :) What a guy!
Are we saying this video is if Wayne Perkins? If so, wouldn't his hands and fingers look older than the player's hands in this extraordinary video?
Здорово 👍 рок 🎸 ролл твист рокобилли буги вуги шейк навсегда здорово 👍

Saw this show at Baltimore Civic Center in November, 1969. Great Show
I have watched this at least 10 times over the years. I just love watching this guy play this.
Wayne Perkins covering Mick Taylor. My six year old could cover Ronnie Wood.
Happyhotstar, TY. What is your chain? From the guitar to the PC, also curious where you have placed the mic for the amp.
Nice and thanks! That camera angle is absolutely perfect for seeing exactly what notes on the guitar you're playing

UNE RYTHMIQUE QUI N ' À RIEN A ENVIÉ À KEITH RICHARDS ! FUCKING GOOD GUY ! 👍👍👍
One of my all time favorites!!!
Too bad we couldn't get a live band close to my area that played like this!
Nice Strat! Looks like my old one I sold it was a 96 American Standard, lots of wood grain! Big mistake!
Anyway great lesson!👍🏻💕😉
LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for posting your video and keep on rocking!!
You play the guitar in an EXCELLENT way ... I would like to play like that ... 😘😘😘
perfect rock/blues tone. Are you using texas specials?
its hypnotic to watch....
The Altamont movie version of SATISFACTION has that AMAZING GUITAR RIFF-THE OTHER ONE not the famous one
You nailed it!
Great job!
Omg awesome!!! Plz plz plz put a tutorial on the lead playing on this song little queenie!! been waiting ! Much needed , thx so much!!
The Rolling stones covered this Chuck Berry original!
Excellent! I would like to see the bass version.
Bill played so many wonderful bass lines which absolutely drove certain songs. Here he pushes it along like a chugging freight train.
Awesome! Thanks for sharing! : )
So is this Keith's part ? What was Mick Taylor playing then ?
You would have made Keith Richards proud, outstanding
Great sound and playing
Merry Christmas 🎄⛄👏🎸👌👍🇺🇸🎉😎🦫
That was very good! The right heavy rolling rhythm.

Lovely chugging sound bravo mate

Where’d ya go man? Your stuff’s the best!!
Here's some info for you about Wayne: www.al.com/entertainment/2017/10/rolling_stones_bob_marley.html
Excellent interpretation. I listen several times a day
I love how it's a few cents out of tune, creating a natural chorus effect
Please tell me the amp and pedals you’re using.
fantastic mate 10/10!!!

That's a really bad man, on that guitar, and the best cover I've ever heard.
My favorite song on Ya Yas. Great solo
ストーズのリトルクイニィーは最高です❤
For to rock and not to roll ain't right man, so let'r rip!
Chuck would have approved
Can you do a video actually showing the chords and where to put the fingers
Great now that's how you do it
Nice teaching video. Easy to view and no BS. Thanks. Think I'll subscribe.
Nuthin fancy, just note for note! Sweet!

Please do a lesson about this.

Excellent Chuck Berry and Keith Richard techniques. This is some of the best I've seen.
Amazig how you capture the style of the artist not your interpretation of the song , I am impressed , I idolized these guys and this album as a kid.
it sounds really great but wish you had a better angle to see whats going on the fret board. really sounds on point!
Well done!
Stock fender pups? Any drive pedals or straight into a high gain?
Love it!!!
WhatsApp a chaos 🤣🤣🤣
