ROBERT GARCIA 1)First of all, if you closely analyze you will realoize in these verses God is talking about son. But nowhere it is clearly/specifically mentioned that God is talking about Jesus as his son. God has sons by the tons in the Bible:
"....Adam, which was the SON OF GOD."

"That the SONS OF GOD saw the daughters of men that they were fair..." "And when the SONS OF GOD came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them...."

"...Israel is MY SON, even my firstborn:"

MashaaAllah this is just an amazing lecture. I have been beating myself up for not making the changes that I want quickly but Br. Nouman has motivated me with the farming analogy - to keep watering and making duaa - this can also apply to individuals wanting to make changes. Alhamdulilah.
I used to have that exact same question as well, how do u know that Islam is the right religion? But I never ask it out loud because I know exactly how the people and ustzah going to react. It is good to finally know that it is not wrong to have this question..
I am raised in muslim family..it is just that my family never explains why islam is the right religion probably because we are not that religious..but as a young adult, I start to have this questions..and I am glad that I have these questions as I am starting to learn more about Islam..

***** i think the oldest quran we have is the Topkapi Manuscript in Istanbul, which has been carbon-dated by real scientists, and has been proven to be from the 7th century.
I suggest reading Dr yasir Qadhi's "Introduction to the Sciences of the Quran" for information about the compilation of the Quran. there is a pdf available on kalamullah website. Also islamicawareness has articles about the carbon dating of Quranic manuscripts.

I think the last question he answered about giving dawa is not right. The sahabah understood the quran better and knew the message of Allah better than all these recent scholars. Yet they left their home family jobs excersise their food their parents their children their wealth and for the sake of spreading deen they went out to give dawa. Of the 124000 sahabah you will only find a few thousand buried in mecca or medina .the majority of sahabah are buried all across the world. What does that say. Dawa is the most important thing a Muslim needs to do . So brothers and sisters don't be mislead by nauman Ali khan here . he made a mistake and soon inshallah will rectify it. Jazakallah khair.
U misunderstood the point he was making bro. If u truly learn the deen fully & practice 💯 as it is, then by default you’re doing the dawah automatically wherever you are on your daily basis. And that’s how the sahaba was wherever they are, they commit 💯 to the deen of Allah following the example of the prophet Muhammad (PPUH).
Conveying the true message is our job not to poke other groups about their understanding of the truth. Sometime knowledge can lead to arrogance. May be it is the blind spot or typical Indian subcontinental mentality which we can not go over and beyond.
Invite ˹all˺ to the Way of your Lord with wisdom and kind advice, and only debate with them in the best manner. Surely your Lord ˹alone˺ knows best who has strayed from His Way and who is ˹rightly˺ guided
Dawah does not mean that you only go out on street and do dawah. if a muslim do a good and honest work or a Job, which is every men daily routine job, its also a dawah. if you are a good and honest carpenter this is also a dawah and so on. dawah does not mean give speech. your honest act in daily life is also dawah. I don't agree with this point with Numan.

sarah haq It looks like someone took what he said out of context. I've heard him explain the word kafir and the context it was used, in a lecture called tafseer surah al kafirun. If I remember it correctly, he said kafir is a person who rejects Islam after hearing and understanding the message. But there was more to it than that simple explanation. He explained it in more depth in the lecture. I hope that helped.
