My journey with the quran started through Nouman Ali Khan and this was the very first lecture which I heard from NAK . it is 2020 now , its been 3 years now ,I find this one again❤️
I have watched this video multiple times and I feel rejuvenated every time I watch it. May Allah bless Sir brother Nouman Ali Khan(If you watched the video, you know what I mean 😛 ) and his family. His words always help me get closer to Allah and gain a better understanding of Islam. May Allah guide us all. Ameen.
But actually there's a Hadith that says whoever memorizes Surah Albaqarah and surah Al-Imran call him sheick. So I would rather to call him SHEICK BROTHER NUMAN. 😅😅😅😅
+Henry Townsmyth i am srry but, that is a very mediocre comment. Everything is not necessarily made clear to you from a person who has to say so much in a span of time. Man you are the worldly light of our time. Overthinking has caused my future to look fuzzy. I need to revive your knowledge of Allah for my future children if enshalla I am granted such a gift.
alhamdulilah I feel exactly how Norman stated in the beginning now and I just converted to islam at 50 and im not feeling the love or the welcome or the guidance I really need,i feel lonely in my learning.

Ustadh Nouman Ali khan just described my life. Dead in the heart through viewing filth and watching movies then during the previous ramadhan Allah brough my heart to life with the quran.
This is one of my favourite lectures of Ustadh Nouman, despite its being over an hour long. I find Islam to be exceptionally beautiful, and it is a fact that is becoming more and more evident as I learn more and more about it. And through Ustadh's lectures I become even more convinced that Islam is truly beautiful and timeless, though we do need the informed scholars to clarify many parts of the Quran for the general mass. Jazakallah for this informational and transformational lecture. May Allah make it easy for us to remain grounded and steadfast in this deen, and may Allah accept all of our ibadah. Ameen
The way he saw the views of people when he was young is exactly what I'm doing to my children now...I am trying so hard to change my views and not be strict...May Allah guide me and open my heart to seeing the positivity in my children... Which is why I listen to his lectures so I can understand my children in today's times.
the way he entertains the audience is wisdom by itself. at 35 minutes its amazing how he entertains the audience by playing the game in a funny yet informative way.
It takes wisdom to hold speeches. Just look at the structure of this passage of Nouman (1:13:54): "Ibrahim alayhis-salaam [pause] Listen to his speech in the Qur'an. Is it *complicated or simple* ? [pause] It's simple. What do _we_ like to do? [pause] *Complicate* even the *simplest* thing. We love it." The repitition of complicated/simple and their syntactic change by combining them, the pauses at the right times to emphasize and to include the audience, the structure of thoughts, ... and last but not least: he said "thing", not "things" - which represents the message of the whole talk: even when you do 1 thing, do it with wisdom (hikmah)!
The best lecture I have ever heard in my life, heard this lecture 9 months ago and his words Actually hit me hard.Till now I believe Brother Nouman Ali khan is the best speaker who speaks with logic, wisdom and who adresses the issues that this Ummah has and so on.... May Allah Protect him and his family ❤️
السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته. Brother Ali Khan is an inspiration to Muslims all over the world, but especially to Muslims who live in English speaking countries. جزاكم الله خيرا, و أسأل الله العظيم أن يزيدكم من فضله. And may Allah gather us with his pure servants, in paradise.

Salaaam Subhan Allah took me five years to come across this video. I really want to meet brother Numan and menk. Aaaaaamin. I get so excited to listen to their talks
Brother Nouman Ali khan Iam a Muslim from Oman .I came to one of your videos by accident and loved it and have been following you for a month and i can tell you that i got addicted to them. You are one of few Muslim scholars i love attending their video. Others like you said focus so much on dividing Muslims into sunni - shiates or shafiee , malki, hanbali ..etc . If you disagree with other you are automatically kafir …!!
Wow so happy to come across knowing this brother, now his one of my fave scholar. He is telling so the true about how could people come Islam and love our religion if we muslims get so judgmental towards one another. We are all humans, no one is perfect. Our good actions with kindness and being friendly with all people around the world will show the kindness of our religion. Caz action speaks louder than words.
Assalamualaikum Brother Zak Allah for the beautiful reminders. May Allah, SWT, keep you on the straight path and make your teachings beneficial to us all. Ameen...
It is amazing how people can dislike such a beautiful message as well.I think one of the other major problems before anything is that people don't know who is Allah S.W.T. Because once you know who the Lord is, what are his manifestations etc, then it is impossible for you not to believe
Beautiful person Allah's blessings to him and his family ameen inshallah his kids and coming generations will serve Muslim ummahl like their father. Inshallah Ameen
I actually miss the in-depth analysis and khutbah from Surah. Please Ustad continue this as it does give us deeper understanding never realised before. may Allah protect you and your family, may Allah increase your knowledge and May you continue to share with us this knowledge
Brother u r indeed better than many of us .. May ALLAH reward for using your wisdom in such a right way for the right cause i.e ISLAM you and protect you . AMeen
Mashallah love you for the sake of Allah. Your lecture always increase me in Imaam. I feel so privilege to come to your lecture last Saturday in London. I was so close to you for the QnA but time was too limited so I couldn't ask my question. But I really didn't mind. It was just amazing to be there. You have also inspire me to love Surah Al Fath. May Allah rewards you and your family janaate Firdawse.
Nouman bhai is right in saying people judge you when you walk into a mosque... at age 19 I made an effort to pray 5 times a day in the mosque. I was doing well and had been going for 2 weeks regularly. An uncle stopped me and said it is very good that you are praying etc but try to cover your elbows with your clothing. I was wearing a t-shirt. I was happy the uncle appreciated my efforts and went home and looked in my cupboard to found I did not have any decent clothing which covered the elbow. sadly i stopped going to the mosque entirely and stopped praying even at home. 15-16 years later and I'm still a Friday prayer person. I know a lot of it is because of my own thoughts and laziness, but people like the uncle in the mosque did not really help.
Irfan Ahmed I've gone through the same experience almost an year ago. By the grace of Allah I'm 27 years old. So it did not effect me that much although scratched a little. I was a practicing at 15 years old. Similar incidents happened then. Due to my laziness and other stuffs I became Friday guy. Things are worse for under 10 kids. Wish elders could understand these things.
Kamal Sharif My mother tells me that i had memorized the 30th para by the time i was in class 1. then we moved back to Pakistan for a few years. I joined the classes of a lady in our neighborhood and I was slapped so many times when learning how to read the Quran that I could not see what i was reading because of the tears and made more mistakes and got beaten more by the lady teacher. Eventually i started skipping class and until today i have not finished the Quran in arabic. I have read the translation of Mufti Taqi Usmani a few times and learnt reading arabic by following the arabic words with the reciter (mishary rashid) on quranexplorer.com. I am lucky to have found Nauman bhai online and with his help i can understand the meaning of the Quran more. Some of my previous friends have also refused me from standing with them in prayers. I remember praying alone after breaking fasts in Ramadan when i was in London. They can find errors in things which i do not hide. but they don't see the errors which they hide for their convenience. I have been disgusted by Muslims ever since i stepped in Pakistan. If i kept looking at the ummah, i would have left Islam many years ago. Our elders were a huge barrier for me learning more about Islam. If i have a difficult question i still asked our elders and if they didn't know the answer they just shouted back at us. They don't realize that they lose their own respect then and there. If they said "I am not sure but i will find out and let you know", they would gain more respect. I could write a whole novel on this topic but cutting it off here... Let us learn from this and make the necessary changes to ourselves to make sure the next generations are taught Islam in a much better manner.
Irfan Ahmed All you could say to the uncle was that you don't owe any long sleeved shirts. Like you said he told you to TRY to cover your elbows. Or did he tell that you shouldn't come back to the Masjid to pray while wearing t-shirt?? I don't think you really understood what Nouman was saying. We Muslims shouldn't make the Deen hard on each other but we absolutely have to advise each other. Brother, i don't think you should blame the uncle, he maybe only had good intention. He wasn't judging you, he was happy with you, since you were coming to the Masjid and all and told you to cover your elbows so that you could be even better. At least that's what i got from your comment. I don't think men have to cover their elbows though. And Allah knows best.
He did have good intentions i'm sure ... But that is the thing... why try to make it better when covering the elbows is not a requirement in Islam? Was is it not good enough that i was praying 5 times in my golden years? When we wear the Ehram in Mecca even our shoulder is visible. So how is covering your elbow even better? There is no need for better. Islam is perfect as it is. Please don't think i'm blaming anyone for my own actions. It was the lack of my own knowledge at the time coupled with my own laziness which made me drift away. But i still strongly feel that our thinking is messed up my brother. We need to realize this, before we can fix it. I have nothing against that uncle, he was a very nice man and may Allah forgive all his sins.
Such a beneficial video. For sure as much as we strive hard to learn about islam we should try to be kind to others and the way we talk and deal with people. We should have good manners and attitudes towards others Alhamdulillah Jezakallah khair for this video
Assalamualikum Normally i don't write comments Don't much listen to many lectures But this one i loved listening Alhamdulila May Allah bless us guidance
Actually I listen to this guys story from him at one of the Turkish program. He says he was not just a drunk, he was also atheist. He said he used to get drunk and go near by one of the masjid and the imam of this masjid used to kick him out there and always argued with the guy and this guy was cussing at imam. Anyhow, eventually this imam leaves this town and another imam comes. This guy drinks again and goes by the masjid with his drink. The new imam sees him and comes out. The drunk guy says he was so fed up with previous imam and decided that if this new imam says anything to him he decided he was going to beat him up to dead. However, to him surprise this new imam brought him food and said you should eat these with your drink or you will get sick! One day after Cuma prayer the drunk guy was by the masjid and as the people left the masjid, have been giving him so much money. So he understood that imam said something to people during the lecture and people were giving him generous sadaka. Anyhow, because of this imam this guy came back to his senses. He got treatment and stop drinking and started to pray. SubhanAllah our attitude is the most important thing that affects people.
One of the best lectures I've ever watched from ustadh Noman Ali Khan May Allah bless him and guide us all and help us to show a good picture of Islam to others as it is.
Allahu Akbar! You have done a great job Nouman, really deep made me think about myself on many things. May Allah give us hidayah, We all need to understand this and change our attitude. Jazak'Allah
Assalamu alaikum wa rahmato allah wa taalla wa barakatuh Such wise words !! I am glad to heart that ! Jazaka allah khairan wa katabaho fi mizane hassanatik May allah guide us to the straight path by purifying our soul with Iman.
Salam Alaykum brother That's a nonsense. One day this women gonna be a mother and future mothers educate the next generation. So What's the benefit from it ? none You can find the answer by refering to our history Muslim used to memories Quran, Hadiths and books like Riyâd As-Sâlihîn And there are verses in the Quran like in Surah Al-Quamar where Allah tell us that the Quran is easily memorized Have a nice day
I came to Islam on my own, I did not know any Muslims or marry a Muslim or knew anything about Islam

Henry Townsmyth That's the problem of our community nowadays unfortunately :(

Bro I found this video by accident and everything u say just applies perfectly to me. Nchallah I’m progressing.
Ustadh Nouman Ali khan just described my life. Dead in the heart through viewing filth and watching movies then during the previous ramadhan Allah brough my heart to life with the quran.

Sir I am from Bangladesh and I love to listen your speeches. Alhamdulillah I learn many things from you.
It’s a great lecture I've seen ever till now
Br. Nouman thank you for giving wisdom to Muslim Community, which is much needed.

I live for these teachings ✌❤🥰
Im so lucky meet ustadh Nouman via youtube in my Ramadhan:)
the way he entertains the audience is wisdom by itself. at 35 minutes its amazing how he entertains the audience by playing the game in a funny yet informative way.
Indeed good sir
Excellent Talk, I totally agree with this. Be passionate but be compassionate.
It takes wisdom to hold speeches. Just look at the structure of this passage of Nouman (1:13:54):
"Ibrahim alayhis-salaam [pause] Listen to his speech in the Qur'an. Is it *complicated or simple* ? [pause] It's simple. What do _we_ like to do? [pause] *Complicate* even the *simplest* thing. We love it."
The repitition of complicated/simple and their syntactic change by combining them, the pauses at the right times to emphasize and to include the audience, the structure of thoughts, ... and last but not least: he said "thing", not "things" - which represents the message of the whole talk: even when you do 1 thing, do it with wisdom (hikmah)!
this lecture was phenomenal
May Allah grants us wisdom so that we can spread goodness in this world an be the best ambassador of Islam.
The best lecture I have ever heard in my life, heard this lecture 9 months ago and his words Actually hit me hard.Till now I believe Brother Nouman Ali khan is the best speaker who speaks with logic, wisdom and who adresses the issues that this Ummah has and so on....

Salam Alaykum brother
That's a nonsense. One day this women gonna be a mother and future mothers educate the next generation. So What's the benefit from it ? none
You can find the answer by refering to our history
Muslim used to memories Quran, Hadiths and books like Riyâd As-Sâlihîn
And there are verses in the Quran like in Surah Al-Quamar where Allah tell us that the Quran is easily memorized
Have a nice day
