Thank you for this video, as a new longarm quilter, it was encouraging to see such an accomplished longarmer be so patient, I learned so much. Thank you.
Loved this video - you two are fun to watch. Some really neat ideas for the quilting of that amazing unicorn too. You've inspired me to try to come up with my own unicorn pillow top. Thinking paper piecing ...... thank you!!
Love to watch you two stitching! And by the way - Adults are too afraid of you Linda! I took an All Day Experience class with you at MQX in 2014 and was so excited and nervous. But you calmed my fears and made all of us so comfortable! Really enjoy watching you stitch! Thank you for sharing all your work!
I love how you two are just playing and enjoying the process! I also love your machine! it just purrs!! I don't know much about Gammill machines, I will have to check them out! I do know they are one of the three I am looking at.
Absolutely loved this video!watched it numerous times..sketched on paper for when I'm ready to try some of these techniques on a quilt.i love you two working together. thank you for sharing your talents and for making quilting so fun.
Tamela thank you for watching! We will post the final project on our Facebook later this week. Make sure to Like and Follow our Facebook page, Linda's Electric Quilters, to get notified when we post the final project.
You two are amazing...so enjoyable to watch. I would have loved to see a shot of it when it was completely finished so I could see the overall affect on this beautiful pillow.😘💐
Awesome! Thanks for all of the ideas. Having been a LA quilter since 1992, (pre SR era) I find myself being more comfortable quilting in constant mode. SR is a gift for ruler work though!
I was waiting to see the finished product! Love all the designs. I'm curious to see what the textures look like on this now that ir is quilted. Love the collaboration of you two! Maybe we should all try this approach for a change of pace.
I made 8 Lisa the Unicorn blocks for a twin, and now I'm terrified to start quilting!!! you make it look easy, and I know with practice I'll get better, but in the meantime I'm paralyzed :(
I liked the whole video but I thought when you stitched the lines across the back, I thought why not follow the same dimensions as in the ribbon mane. I liked it though and thank you for sharing.👍🏼
Sylvie thank you for watching! We will post the final project on our Facebook later this week. Make sure to Like and Follow our Facebook page, Linda's Electric Quilters, to get notified when we post the final project.
@@etlzjj84 , they normally fit on a 1/2" hopping foot. However, every brand makes their hopping feet a little different. Some people have bought them and made the adaption to make them work, but putting a piece of masking tape on the inside to help keep them on if they were to loose, to using an emery file to file them down a little if they were to tight to get on.
Hi Debra, The template Corey is using is called a Crosshatch circle. You can find them at the following link. www.longarmsupplies.net/crosshatchcircles.aspx
I don't feel free doing this because it looks sloppy to me. The feathers look sloppy and I feel like everything has to be exact. Being too critical stops creativity, I know. But I can't get past wanting everything to look clean when I put all the work into piecing.
Great tips for a beginner longarm quilter!
How lucky you are Corey to learn from such a great Master Teacher. You are so talented now, but with learning from Linda, you will become exceptional!
Beautiful job
Incredible FMQuilting

Hello Linda, What quilting machine are you using? Great talent thank you for sharing...
Linda is using a Gammill Statler 30, but using it in freehand mode which would be comparable to the Gammill Vision 30.
I want this masheen...
Cory why didn’t you have tie off stitches on each side of your starts and stops around the feather and the unicorn?
WOW
Fabulous Duo team! Sounds like you had fun, was there some bloopers where you had races on your wheelie chairs?! :-)
They will definitely have to do that next time:)
What is the name of the blue gadget? The one you used to make sure your lines where accurate? I want to buy one for my machine.
