Thanks for the great interview Hannibal. Florida Championship Wrestling was definitely one of the hotbeds of pro wrestling during the 70s, with Gordon solie as the host. In my opinion, modern wrestling doesn't have the excitement of wrestlers traveling from different territories to build up the grudge matches and storylines. I remember when Gordon Solie would show film clips on Saturdays of the matches that took place during the week. Watching those film clips made you want to go to the "live" matches in your area. Thankfully, we have the internet to view a lot of these archived matches on video.
Christian The Man aka -Loki-LL much respect ✊🏾 to this wrestler 🤼♂️. One of the holdovers from a different age (he feuded with Bob Backlund during the latter 70’s to early 80’s and teamed with Ric Flair before that). Consummate professional with great technical wrestling skills and fabulous heel.
I agree with him completely about women, women never admit it but their sex drives are far stronger than men's sex drives! And I obviously don't know how many women Slick Rick has been with but back during the Monday night wars I was at the same bar he was at in East Tennessee and he had a circle of 12 to 14 women around him the whole night! It was impressive, they all would wait on him by the bathroom door when he went to piss, I'll never forget it!
Hollywood hogan, Scott Hall, Shawn Michaels (before he came back in '02, sucked in his second run for the most part), Savage, then either Jake or Rude for the fifth spot. I could switch some out depending on the day, but hogan n hall are always 1a n 1b.
This guy pops up in my notifications all the time lol. I think it was LeBron James around 2012 who tweeted a pic of Greg the Hammer and that's when I first looked him up.
😳Gregg Valintineo! and Ric Woohoo! I think you Guys are Yellow Belly Chickens! 😳 You ain't talking about taking on the Most Dangerous Wrestler of all Times and the Greatest Wrestler of all Times! 😳Dr David Schultz! 👍
@@haydenmillholland4496 Flair's 10,000 & Wilt The Stilt's 20,000 claim are both bogus unless those guys were having threesomes galore, orgies where they randomly sampled various women, or having a reverse train run on them. Otherwise, the math doesn't add up.......There are only 365 days per year. If Flair fucked a different girl each day, that's around 1,100 women every 3 years. It would take around 30 years to reach that 10,000 mark, and I doubt Flair was nailing different women on a daily basis in his early 50s.
I worked in So Cal nightclubs in the late 70's- early 80's. Just a few days a week, for about 8yrs. The numbers could rack up fast! So for him, Every Day, Celebrity status, Big Money & How many years???? Bet it's not far off. Plus, he would take em 2 & 3 at a time.
In his era, they were pretty legit. These days, young wrestlers spend more time on X Box than they do in bars. Few of them can handle themselves in a legit fight. Plus every city has atleast one MMA dojo; everyday people have more skill than they used to. But in Greg's day, they knew how to fight.
@BetaOnPurposeLMS-coach Yeah certain guys like Razor were probably nailing so much tail, haha, it makes me laugh thinking about it. Then you have the hammer, wouh wouh wouhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.........he still probably got more than I ever will, because of his position n being around it so much, but he wasn't exactly the ravishing one.
Oh, he could carry his end of a program really well in the day. He and Roddy Piper (as the face, believe it or not) had a helluva feud in the Crockett NWA, for instance.
Groing up I despised Greg, but boy o boy I love him now lol ,these interviews are priceless
I don't think Greg got the limelight as much as the more loud and noticeable wrestlers got... or maybe preferred it that way.
I love to listen to the hammer do shoot interviews, the more I watch the more I like him!!!

Legend and a warrior. Great interview.

Greg "The Hammer" Valentine just a cool insightful interview ‼️👍🏻
Love the hammer’s interviews
I'm truly enjoying Greg's enterview's... it could be accurate 🤣🤣🤣
They left money on the table by not having a "Battle of the Figure Fours".
They could have done it in the early 90's in WWE when they were both there.
Greg Valentine Vs Ric Flair would of been awesome Wrestlemania match.

Ric Flair Gregg Valentine and Arn Anderson are my top 3 favorite performers of all time. Roddy Piper and Dusty Rhodes round out my top 5

No Macho Man?
@@billyclub56 Love Macho. And Mr. Perfect, Larry Zbyskos, Jerry Lawler. It's really hard to just name 5
Flair put on a great match with Hogan during "Clash Of The Champions" (I could be wrong), but it was in WCW.

My Dad have Greg Valentine aka Gregory Lee a speeding ticket back in 1978.
All time pro
I wonder what Bull Curry's groupies looked like.
Quality of the girls did not matter. Flair would stick it in road kill if it was still warm
I'd bet Rick nailed hundreds of rats back in the day!

Greg looks like my Granma, But..she couldn't kick my ass.
Greg "Hammered" the Ladies. But Randy wasn't a good looking guy but he pulled hot girls
I remember when Flair threw out that 10,000 women lie. So ridiculous - think about the STDs, c'mon people.
What about Wilt Chamberlain's claim of 20,000
@@paulhetrick1759 I love Flair but damn even Ron Jeremy said he has only slept with around 5000
I could see a couple thousand or so. But that big round # is a bit much.

Women are attracted to that, and they should.......cuz we're real men!!!!! BWAAHAHAHA!!!!

Ugly wrestler's with beautiful women.😅😅
Valentine couldn’t draw a dime always mid carder nobody in wrestling

More than your penny draw. Loved da hammer

As long as he was cashing checks what does he care?
