dropping some love for some solo ilan music. fun song.
Loooove this song!
Excellent choice of electronics for an even more excellent tune!
I would love to see a live duo collaboration project of Ilan Rubin and Josh Dion playing together. Just two people, both of whom play the drums, the keyboards, all while both are great singers? That would be epic!
You little genius
This is spectacular
So catchy. Giving Labyrinth era Bowie vibes. Love the piano song.
Dope! I hope there is more TNR soon.
I discovered your song on Instagram and really loved it. Good job!!! 👏👏👏

Beautiful, Ilan.

Ilan Mercury
Ilan, did you try Pear Mimic? It doesn’t have electronic samples on board, but there instrument edit and you can put inside any kind of sounds including multi velocity round robin instruments.
Intro reminds me a lot of ELO
He’s got the same gear I have. Roland TD-17 plus cy cymbals, Microfreak. Love his studio. If he reads this…Ilan, have you tried Bitwig Studio? I don’t have to tell you what program it is but the workflow is as fast as Cubase on iPad (there’s nothing faster that I know about and getting ideas needs to be a fast process doesn’t it. So time relates to the genius of the songcraft to those like me who aren’t geniuses. I have to find a mood that gets a song out of me these days. can’t turn up to any volume with thin walls and neighbours. Anyway genius…time to try some Bitwigging! Thank you for the music mate. And fuck…can you drum!
