It coud have a steering wheel or a lever that distribute the braking left or right when moving the lever or wheel left or right and apply global braking when moving it front or back (or-and add a normal brake peddal). Anyway.... quite awesome vehicle.
I would guess they went with the levers route to reduce the number of moving parts, make it less likely to break in the middle of nowhere, and easier to repair when it does.
Awesome!! You should have driven over the black A7 in the background!! I want one!! Good for dealing with angry city cyclist who think stop signs, red lights etc don't apply to them.
As someoe who grew up with an Attex, this seems perfectly normal to me. The only problem is the price which is at least 2 times what it should be. No way a low tech custom vehicle like this should cost more than a o road truck, or even a small dozer. If they started at 40K the market for them would be 10 times what it is now. That was the original price target when they were introduced a few years ago.

@@ExSSBN2005 I wonder what the used ones from Russia go for? Imagine someone smuggling one of these in to the US. Oh it's just a homemade wheel buggy with Russian tires!

It is not Russian price but US speculators. US does not permit Russia to sell it because of sanctions so they sell it as parts to Canada and there they assemble it and put the engine in it and increase the price five fold. Shameful.
Very nice and informative video. Indeed in Canada this vehicle is assembled to be able to sold all over North America despite being a original product of actually 2 companies - one from Russia and the second one from Ukraine. It might come even in 6x6 or with 2 wheels floating trailer powered also. There is a separate Canadian company producing using original design a vehicle called Fat truck. One can see it reviewed on TFL Offroad UA-cam channel. It is too much similar and I have no clue how they handle the copyright issues in Canada. Writing about copyright I am pretty positive and sure some Chinese company is producing a knock-off version of the vehicle which eventually is much much cheaper.

I'd love to see someone drive around the world in one. Maybe start in Africa, cut across Siberia to Alaska, cross the swamps by Panama and go down to Argentina.
This is not a long distance vehicle. It's designed to tackle rough terrain over short distances (maybe a couple dozen kilometers). These tires wear very quickly on tarmac, so it would have to be strictly an off road around the world trip.
Way to totally underplay the accessibility this vehicle brings. I understand he can't drive offroad, but maybe the guy in the back can? Demonstrate its full capabilities!
Actually, it has some kind of air conditioning system. As of a warmer, the engine is hot enough to make you want to use the air conditioner even if you are in the middle of a Russian winter ;)
I could make it better. Use the for pedals for turning and you'll only need one handle for, forward is go back is break. Two gears forward and reverse. Electric motor don't have gears.
I own a Sherp and also a FatTruck. There is no comparison. The FT is so much better. The FT is also made in Canada with 60 percent American parts. It has a Cat engine and a hydrostatic transmission. All you have is a joy stick for everything. The Sherp has a clutch five speed and a gas pedal. The FT will stop dead on a hill and not move. Try that in a Sherp and your in trouble fast. The Sherp has a so called emergency brake and mine broke in 5he first 20 hours. Plus it really doesn’t hold it. The Sherp has 4 or 5 options and AC is not one of them. While the FT has around 25 options and a AC the will blow you out of the thing. The truck is flat ass amazing.
Sherp's are great, but really, a review by someone who has very little idea about off road driving?? or what their doing?? give it to someone who knows what their doing!!! 👎
