If you can reverse-engineer the proprietary drivers and whatnot, probably. Kronoshacker and marcan42 bave so far managed to transplant a newer motherboard/cpu into their kronos though it wasn't without challenges on the OS side of things.
Difficult to understand your accent, Australian? its very hard to know what you're saying at times. I was under the impression this was not possible with the Kronos because it has no RCA out. A lot of owners would love to see a bigger screen than the built in one.
jonesgerard yeah. true blue mate. :P the thing is the kronos onboard LCD is a separate system from the PC "brain" of the kronos so yeah it's probably still not possible. what you see on screen is the PC part of it booting, most of which would be useless to an end user.
Thanks for sharing! BTW, I'm from CA and could understand you just fine, mate!
Had to turn on the captions - it is hilarious.
Anibal Morales yeah i love my accent lol
Where are you on this project? Thumbs up.
How can you distinguish when these Kronos were made? The early ones has problems while the newer ones they had resolved them?
wooden side bezels and different boot logo
@@Marisueksu Thank you.
Hi! Been wondering.... wouldn’t it be possible to instal Kronos OS on a pc with similar specs?

Can you send me a link to the Kronos Kernel?

Look up kronoshacker or marcan42 kronos.
Does the motherboard in the KRONOS use the standard Intel BIOS, or does it have to be replaced with a custom Korg BIOS if upgrading the motherboard?
Standard intel BIOS. The korg's brain really only starts to kick in once it's booted into linux really.
Cool video. Where did you get the hacked Kronos Kernel? The one on Mega was taken down. Was hoping to use the kernel on my Kronos. Thanks.

If you want a bigger Kronos display and have an iPad you may want to play with the Kronos Remote Application in the app store. KAPro supports it.
