Made it through Beryl with power out for ~7 hours; 0800 am 1325. Tragic for some, pray for those hit hard.

I lived in Seattle for 8 years i cant imagine the heat there.
I am so thankful that you are back. I skirted the edge of this mess and i am now sitting in my Semi in Springfield Mo. Just the very edges of this storm were horrendous. I have to push through to Boston and i have no clear idea which way it is headed. All i know is that i did'nt want to be stuck in Little Rock when it hits.
I'm screwed either way though. Hoping it breaks up a little before i get into the mountains of the northeast. Im driving mostly at night 😬

It made a direct hit on Jamaica as a cat 4 and it looks like cat 1 damage. Made a direct hit on the Yucatan as a cat 2 and it looks like tropical storm damage. At the rate they propagandize hurricane wind speeds, we'll see our first category 11 storm in 10 years.

Pretty rare this early in the season, especially for the tropical wave to survive all the way from the African coast.
Can you see where Hudson Bay is? Its 90 degrees there? Happened last year a lot too. Don't ever recall high temps like that so far north
