Wassup nerds. New video drops today. Tbh the New video sucks, and I’ll be doing an update on the lv119 once I’m in a decent location. Thanks dudes, appreciate the support 🤟🏼
Medic here. I'd definitely add some sort of pressure bandage to your IFAK. NAR has just rolled ace wrap that works great and is like $2. The Roll 1 was designed for them. Also, you are correct about Celox. It is superior to Quikclot when creating a clot. I personally find Quikclot easier to pack a wound with though. The Celox is thicc.
Good vid, subbed. My only beef with this setup is that the Cobra buckle isn't good for quick doffing. Cobra buckles don't release when they're being pulled, so they might not let go when you're trying to get it off in a hurry. If it hasn't been a problem for you, no problem. I'm personally considering swapping to a small Tubes adapter for the shoulder buckle, I remember someone makes one, it might be 8492 Nylonworks.
Hasn’t been a problem yet. But a good insight nonetheless. Typically pressing up on the bottom of the buckle in any scenario will release it in any scenario. Now If we’re talking a medical emergency or casualty care. they will cut off whatever gear they need to in order to get to it. No one really cares what kind of gear, or the price of your gear if your life is on the line. If you like the tubes for the shoulder, lets us know. Always interested, and always helps for more people know their options on different set ups and what works! Hope the tubes works in your favor man, and thanks for the sub!
I dig it. Not too dissimilar from my two avses, but i still havent hopped on the EUD train. I just dont have the technical training on them to make great use of them for one, and i broke my last galaxy and don't want to buy a new one for two, lol.

Glad to hear this helped! One spot is different for everyone because we're all built different. Put it in the spot that you can access it with both hands! I carry one on my belt line, mounted onto my holster. I also carry one or two in my sleeve or sleeves of the combat top. Depending on the placard/chestrig I use with this there will be one rubber banded on it as well. Generally the rule of thumb for MOST people I have personally worked with in the past is 2-4. 2 being the bear minimum. At any time I have 2 on the kit that I can access from both sides. and SOP for our team is 2 per person. Medical will carry a more extensive care bag, and have more knowledge on treating casualty. We used the A&A tactical 3 band tubes adapter. It’s the best we could find without permanently modifying or using a new cumberbund. We ordered the spare tubes direct from first spear Link is in the bio for the adapter.
@@davidb9323 can only speculate at this point. The ones that are on it have been pretty decent so far. It’s got some color discoloration around the main stress point. Question on mag placement (I’m not a cool guy, just a civvy), how many mags do you run on your carrier + belt and how many do you run in your pack? Is it really necessary to have 6 mags readily available (not any in your pack)? I’m trying to find a good balance and placement without running extra shit out in front of my carrier so that it becomes annoying when going prone or laying my rifle flat
So I’ll put it this way. You know what you need. YOU are the one that will dictate your mission and what you have to do. 6 is the standard load out bc typically that’s what the military issues you. Maybe 7. It depends who you’re with and what your job is. Personally I run around 5-6 on my plate carrier, 1 on the belt, and 1 in the gun. I have extra loaded magazines in my assault pack at all times, how many? It just depends where we’re going, and how long. So do you need 6 available to you? Maybe, maybe not. You might be able to get away with 4 and one in the gun and no extra mags. Again, you decide what you’re going to do as a civ. The last thing I will say is that you can never have enough ammo or water. You will fight and die with what’s on your back. I know it’s vague, but I don’t know what you’re situation is and I don’t know what you’re going to do. Is it recon? Is it direct action to go get more resources for your family? A lot goes into play here. That’s why mission always dictates gear. Hope that somewhat helps you man
Typically you buy the carrier in parts and pieces, if you buy direct from Crye expect to wait a couple of months from our experience. They’re hard to find at the moment. Can't and will not speak for all of SOCOM. Will only speak on the guys i've talked to. From what I've heard and personally seen, most of them do. If they're still running the AVS it's just plate bags. Other dudes I have spoken with are running a JPC which would make more sense to me. If you're just running plate bags that is.
This is just a personal opinion, so keep that in mind. The avs attaches to harness on the shoulders, and on the rear area (the back). To ME that is sufficient enough to hold the plate bags to the harness its self. In my opinion you don’t need to run shock cord through the plate bags. It might pull the bag a little closer to the harness. But I’m not worried about that. By running the shock cord through just the harness, I’ve found that it lets the harness expand a little more and move relatively freely allowing for better motion and expansion for breathing, bending, twisting, etc. Again, this is just my personal opinion and preference.
If you’re in a pinch it will. If you have a 2500 I would recommend going with the 2500 specific pouch. Esstac makes a 2500 specific pouch that I’ve personally used in the past.

@@FischerDefenseGroup I have a suggestion on future content if youre down:
I see tons of ppl running phones on their admin area above the mags. Aside from TRex and S2 Underground nobody has any useful content regarding "how to make it all work" (ie depending on cell service or using a radio with a modem to transmit the data) and what use it has within the team etc.
If you could go over that, that would be swell.
(Im responsible for comms in my crew and it was enough of a pain to convince everyone to switch to Motorolas so Im ill inclined to push *another* system that everyone has to learn and make room for. (Personally I dont want to do it either since that bib/admin area is where my NACRE Quietpro goes and I dont want to change it lol)
Can u remove the shoulder buckle completely?? I know u can swap sides on it tho
correct, you can remove it completely and run both sides without any buckles what so ever.
So the socom guys basically dump everything except the plate bags?
Can't and will not speak for all of SOCOM. Will only speak on the guys i've talked to. From what I've heard and personally seen, most of them do. If they're still running the AVS it's just plate bags. Other dudes I have spoken with are running a JPC which would make more sense to me. If you're just running plate bags that is.
hi, is there a reason y u put the bungecord not trough the platebag? Just wondering what the difference is?
This is just a personal opinion, so keep that in mind. The avs attaches to harness on the shoulders, and on the rear area (the back). To ME that is sufficient enough to hold the plate bags to the harness its self. In my opinion you don’t need to run shock cord through the plate bags. It might pull the bag a little closer to the harness. But I’m not worried about that. By running the shock cord through just the harness, I’ve found that it lets the harness expand a little more and move relatively freely allowing for better motion and expansion for breathing, bending, twisting, etc. Again, this is just my personal opinion and preference.
how much was the total for everything?
What plate carriers are the front and back one that connects to avs harness ?
Standard Crye avs plate bags.
where did you make that IR patch wiht your name on it?
Patch panel, they’re super good dudes and have an awesome shipping speed. There’s a coupon code for 10% off an order in the bio!
Great! i have been looking for a good oatch maker for a while now haha! thanks@@FischerDefenseGroup

What size of your avs harness ? 🙂
Medium
who is we you keep referring to?
Our team. Everything is set up the same in a general manor
How much does it weigh?
does the xts5000 pouch work for the xts2500?
If you’re in a pinch it will. If you have a 2500 I would recommend going with the 2500 specific pouch. Esstac makes a 2500 specific pouch that I’ve personally used in the past.
