Thank you so much for sharing your experience this year. It seems like nobody else is sharing the stuff that happens around E3 anymore. Also, i didn't see ANYONE else going to the Polymega booth and sharing their experience w/ the console. I've been paying attention to them and was looking for someone to provide some impressions since they were going to E3 this year. Thank you for your sharing your thoughts on it!
Man, I don’t think anyone was aware this would be the last E3 ever. I think there is almost zero chance it comes back (in physical form at least). I know people have all sorts of thoughts on E3 but being an old ass gamer, E3 will just always have this appeal for me. All this gaming news and reveals over one week. I will mourn its death.
Also agree on not making appointments - I never do it at these shows. I like to wander around and discover stuff.
Your videos help me relax and unwind after excruciatingly difficult days. I love that you don't make me feel jealous, instead it's more like you make me feel included. It's pretty nice.

I went to Retro Game Camp about a day after you did. I got a lot of great finds. Japanese Gamecube, Tales of Symphonia, Pokemon White, 3 dragon quest games for famicom $2 each, and a copy of FFIV. They had a lot of really cool stuff and everything is Japanese. It's too bad you were already burnt out on collecting. Thanks for giving them press. Retro game stores have a really hard time surviving in CA and I really want this one to stay.
Loved the video, enjoyed getting to sit down and have food/drinks with you at digital devolver. E3 was wild and for sure not dead. The Nintendo booth was insane. Thank you for your amazing engagement with your fans!

Don't usually comment (At least, positively). Really enjoyed this. Probably the best e3 video I've seen this year. In the trenches. Lots of cool wee bits and bobs. Good to see John Linneman in there. He seems like a good lad.
I was worried about Animal Crossing too, but after hearing more info about it, I think it will be great. I think traditional AC stuff will kick in once we establish ourselves on the island.
I agree. I think it will give the game more longevity having your character develop from essentially primal state to fully functioning society.
Yeah I think it's going to have everything that we love of the franchise & then even more features added. I actually really love the new crafting & farming mechanic. It just adds new ways to get items & fun to the game.

Interesting that you felt no difference with Sony not being there and even Xbox not being in the expo either. It certainly felt different to me and many others. Sony's presence was truly missed. I felt this gap for sure.
I LOVE THE National Video Game Museum I go each year and I am glad that they have it. It's a fun place to unwind and see the history at E3. No better place!

4:19 that virtual on game is so badass. I had the demo for Sega Saturn and played it over and over and over. I may drive down there and buy it right now.
You are totally right Metal Jesus pertaining to Sony's absence from the event. It's too bad they abstained, but there is so much more than just current gen console gaming. There are so many interesting retro game companies with tech to show. I also heard negative talk about smart phone game promotions, but as you know, the smart phone is the most utilised gaming device in history. E3 was started to promote video gaming, not simply something for console platforms. I personally do not smart phone game, but use consoles, but I am aware of their importance...great video...wish I could have been there. I did happen to watch the live Nintendo stream via my Game Maker class with my students...many of them thought this was great fun!
every single person who is a teen and above in this country has a smartphone and therefore a possible handheld video game system. so yes, it is the most utilized as it is the most widely available for all age ranges.

@@MetalJesusRocks Coming from Bothell it's rare that we ever go further south than Bellevue aside from an occasional spree to Ikea in Renton... but considering that we like Katsu Burger enough to frequent all three locations, promise of incredible ramen might be reward enough for that trek.
