I liked your recipe for the pizza. It is something I can see myselft doing on a regular. My concern about the Danial Fast and how so many churches and people interpret the Daniel Fast. I first want to say that a fast is sacrifice and sacrifice is not easy. Daniel said he would not eat any pleasurable foods, but we find ways to find fasting pleasurable by giving ourselves permission to eat fruits, vegetables, vegan, etc. Yes, it is good to give up meat, sweets, white flour, etc if you're looking to get heealthy, but Daniel showed the King and the people of Bablylon that they would be "healthier" by eating PULSE, which is not fruit or vegetables, but seeds, or seeds of the legumes, or legumes, which are beans, chickpeas, lentils and peas. I too followed the Daniel Fast for years until I studied what was happening with Daniel and his friends. I made all kinds of recipes but continued to enjoy eating pleasureable foods because I was "allowed" to eat fruits, vegetables, vegan, fake meat, etc. There was no real sacrifice. As a matter of fact, it was quite easy to follow. Today, we really don't want to give up a lot for God. If we ate "PULSE" for the time of our fast, which by the way, was only 10 days for Daniel and his friends, then it would be closer to foregoing our pleasure in eating food. It would become more of a sacrifice and not just a ritual that most churches tend to follow. I believe that the reason we, the church , do not have the power that we truly need is because we really don't want to give up things. I just imagine the power that we would have if we decided to teach what fasting and sacrifice means to God. I am not trying to be negative because I enjoyed your video, especially the quick bible devotion in the beginning. I too am following a fast. For how long? I am not sure, but I'm striving for 30 to 40 days because I truly need some answers and clarity. Keep up the good work. I did subscribe because I watched a couple of your other videos and enjoyed them.
