So I'm wanting to upgrade my wheel to thrustmaster tx base. I was wondering if I buy the copilot, could I hook my logitech pedals and shifter to that plug it into the drivehub with the thrustmaster wheel and fanatec clubsport handbrake?

@@joepower5165 ok the usb cable from the wheel goes to the “controller port on the drive hub. The handbrake goes to the accessory port and the other cable is the out to the console.
Amazon prices are too high it’s totally worth the Drive Hub and the Fanatec is light years better of a brake too. The stand comes with Vevor racing sim stand, I had an old shifter mount laying around I drilled and secured to the rig with really good hardware. That is how I have a shifter and brake stand.

Hi and thanks for the comment. The set up is exactly what I used a G920 pedal shifter and the Drive Hub with the Fanatec handbrake for Xbox one! It works flawlessly and for e feedback is full with no lag. You actually plug the whole G920 1 USB cable the the “controller “ port on the Collective minds drive hub and the Fanatec handbrake into the “accessory” port and that’s it the other cable goes to the Xbox. What games are you playing on?

@@benjaminduphil4095 the video is a basic overview the set up is actually different for each combination of wheel ,pedal, shifter and handbrake. For the Xbox it’s USB from wheel to “controller”port then handbrake to “accessories “ port then one USB goes form the Hub to the Xbox. Then go remap your handbrake in the settings.
Collective minds web site has a compatibility list for all the companies it will work for so yes you could do a Fanatec DD or Moza with a Thrustmaster handbrake and Logitech pedals for series X

Hi for console and G29 G27 g920 g923 the Collective minds is really the only way to go. Just refer to the setup wizard for the correct ports to use on the drive hub.

Yeah if the compatibility on the site has it listed I’m almost positive the pedals are the same just some small upgrades from g920 to g293. You will need the copilot box from collective minds if you want use older Logitech and Thrustmaster pedals but your ok with your set up.
I have a g923 and it didn’t work for me at first. But what you have to do to get the wheel working is to update the firmware from the collective minds website, then plug in the g923 into the controller slot, not the controller/wheel. I haven’t gotten my handbrake yet but I assume it would go in the accessory slot

After buying the fanatec handbrake and usb adapter ive tried everything and cant get it to work. Usb adapter has the most update firmware and is set to handbrake. The handbrake does not map on any games, and in the fanatec control panel it barely shows 1% feedback when i pull on it. Im on xbox series x with a g920, so disappointed

Hi try the Fanatec downloads/updates and find USB adapter on the support page. Then go to Drivers-firmware and select the game controller icon to get into the USB adapter while it’s plugged into a PC. Then select handbrake from the three options for USB

Yeah this is the single greatest device for my rig. Just check the website for collective minds and check the compatibility chart. Usually all Thrustmaster , Logitech,Fanatec and some of the other obscure or newer companies like Aiolog. Yes you can play Xbox and throw a Sparco handbrake on your Thrustmaster or a Fanatec on your Logitech. Amazing and I use it in competition with zero issues.

I have not had any issues so far few suggestions though, try updating the firmware on the Drive hub through their website. Plus try to find the race mode on the HUB and try to reconnect the wheel .
Whassuuuup. So I bought a drivehub mostly for the handbrake on my g920/Xbox/Forza Horizon. I've updated hub firmware and tested my g920 on PS4 GT7. Works flawlessly and the ffb is amazing. Afterwards I hooked hub to my Xbox and when I begin driving in Forza it starts out great with improved ffb. But once I'm in 4th gear or drive faster for 5 seconds or so, suddenly the steering stops working. I'm currently troubleshooting but with all the wheel bugs in FH5 I won't know where the problem lies. I'll have to check dirt rally 2.0. any thoughts?
Hey now ! Yeah I’ve noticed on the “new” titles it takes Collective minds a bit to do protocol for FFB , WRC generations is flawed for me too but WRC 10 is on point I’ve got to figure out if we need to update the G920 wheel too in the CPU update.
@@svtwrc I've done some testing and no joy so far. Sent in a support ticket. The community comments indicate that support wasn't too helpful but we'll see. It's only been a day but no reply yet.
@@svtwrc also I was wrong in my original comment. There is no ffb. Just a soft lock. I just thought I lost steering because as soon as I tried to exit a corner, there wasn't any self steer due to no ffb.*sadface*

@@svtwrc tech support sorted me out, mate. If you're using g920 on Xbox, plug wheel into controller port not wheel port. This is what made Forza horizon 5 work for me. Confusingly enough, Forza Motorsport 7 worked with a controller plugged into Drivehub. Weird. I'm running latest firmware 2.0.9. Phew. Now time to buy Fanatec handbrake. Thanks for the video friend. Oops haven't subbed yet. Lemme just fix that

Unfortunately the obikidly Amazon handbrake is not supported through the HUB. It drops too much now and is almost $300 dollars for the dual USB Xbox version. That’s too much when you can get REAL sim racing equipment.
I wish you could but the cheaper Amazon handbrakes don’t communicate with the Drive Hub only the compatibility list on the website has the right hardware you can use.
@@Josie238 ok wheel goes to the box( hub) then a controller goes into the hub then your compatible handbrake to the hub and plug the hub into the Xbox /PS4
@@Josie238 oh yeah that’s an important piece I forgot to mention. Use the code on the back of USB adapter on a PC ,Mac will not work and update the adapter to handbrake use.
Check my other vids it’s just me trying to find the best low cost budget option for my Sim racing. I get ZERO sponsors money or products I’m not paid by any company or affiliated with Amazon. This is the best current option for summer 2022 as the Amazon handbrake went up in price almost $160 over the original cost I got it for 2 years ago and it’s dropping the connections in competition rally and I can’t have that anymore.

Unfortunately no the PC handbrake will not work. Just Fanatec $ or thrustmaster $$$ the Drive hub is working on a Moza update too.

No it needs to communicate with the Xbox a PC might work but consoles need a Drive HUb

It will not work through the Drive HUB with that really cheap PC handbrake you need to go to the HUB site and match up a Confirmed handbrake .

yikes im just doing consoles, usually you will not need a drive hub for PC as the drivers can be installed unlike the console.

Yes the Fanatec USB adapter needs to be connected to the PC then Fanatec support has the way to switch the USB adapter to handbrake.
Will the drive hub work on pc with the handbrake connected?
Unfortunately the obikidly Amazon handbrake is not supported through the HUB. It drops too much now and is almost $300 dollars for the dual USB Xbox version. That’s too much when you can get REAL sim racing equipment.

So I have seen people use the ps version or the wheel on Xbox so does that mean I could use a Amazon pc handbrake with a console?
I wish you could but the cheaper Amazon handbrakes don’t communicate with the Drive Hub only the compatibility list on the website has the right hardware you can use.
@@svtwrc I have prefer all the parts but ther is no explanation on what gets plugged in where so I can’t get it to work
@@Josie238 ok wheel goes to the box( hub) then a controller goes into the hub then your compatible handbrake to the hub and plug the hub into the Xbox /PS4

@@Josie238 oh yeah that’s an important piece I forgot to mention. Use the code on the back of USB adapter on a PC ,Mac will not work and update the adapter to handbrake use.

Check my other vids it’s just me trying to find the best low cost budget option for my Sim racing. I get ZERO sponsors money or products I’m not paid by any company or affiliated with Amazon. This is the best current option for summer 2022 as the Amazon handbrake went up in price almost $160 over the original cost I got it for 2 years ago and it’s dropping the connections in competition rally and I can’t have that anymore.
