Yo, Mike. Do you remember doing a video from a year ago about that other Texture generation tool that's called 'Texture Lab'? Well, I thought I should let you know, that tool has been updated to V.0.3. about a couple months back.
Also, there's at least two more tools that works quite similarly to Texture Lab. There's one that's called 'Stipple' and the other called 'Symbinode', both of which can found on Itch.io Website.
I'm hoping that you'll consider doing a video on those aforementioned tools, as well as, there being an 'update' video on Texture Lab.

Feels bad man, I'm doing it slowly cause work and hectic life but I try making a couple hours for myself. Especially over the weekends. I started with learning C# and how Unity works but there's a tidal wave I need to do but I realised I don't need to learn and do everything myself. I want to start paying people to do the animation work and 3D modeling, music and sound effects and so on. I'll be directing the look and feel and even putting everything together which is a monumental task in and of itself but it's always doable. Never easy but doable

@@random_precision_software mixamo can only take you so far. It's meant for prototyping which it has been invaluable and I have experience with level design because it affects the flow of your game to the extent that if there were no enemies in the level it should still feel fun to play, interesting because it's one of the best tools for world building and story plus one of the best tools to guide the player or intentionally mislead them. The Stanley Parable comes to mind.

@@silchasruin4487 Ohh ,I wasn't sure how much unity experience you've had, it sounded like you were a beginner, but you seem more advanced, its hard being a lone developer you need to be a master at so many things like coding, animation, level design audio production etc etc etc. I was asking about your level design because I'm looking for some one to help me with it as I am useless at it. Many of my games only have 1 level in them lol, then u get bored and bang on to the next project. Don't get me wrong, I've had a few games published with enough levels to keep people engaged. If your interested have a look at my channel and let me know. Thanks.

@@random_precision_software no worries. Even though level design is hard since you have to think about what you want before implementing anything. Such as perspective, story, and situations that you want the player to have. I always play with the idea of creating levels like water flows through. How easy is it to traverse, what markers can be seen that can act as landmarks. What situation is the player going to face. How many enemies are there, thinking about strategy. How can the environment work for or against the player. I'll have a look and try get into contact to see what you're making

  • @kurtisharen

Main thing that I want to know is what are the permissions for the materials on their site? Like, if I wanted to use the materials there for a game I make in Unity, would I be prevented from selling my game for money because I used the materials from their site, or am I still allowed to monetize my game?

    • @RodzLabs

Each material has a license and all licenses are derived work friendly (other licenses would defeat the purpose of sharing materials, right?). Most active Material Maker users are on our discord server if you want to contact them.
