I don’t believe it matters but just line up the new switch with the old one and swap wires. If flame keeps rolling out further inspection of lower combustion chamber needs to be addressed. Could be dirty of clogged.
@geargoats1849 replaced the switch. It turned on, and after a while, it won't turn back on. Replaced the switch a second time, and did the same thing. Would you have any ideas why? Not sure what's causing the switch to short out.seems like the flame turns on and stays on.
I had the same problem last year , but the company sent me a switch that has a reset button on the front. If it goes again call Raypak and you won't have to worry about or having to have a spare on hand.
How much propane do you use in a month and how often do you use the heater? Getting ready to have a heater installed and have to use portable tanks. Wondering if I use two 40lb tanks, how often I would have to refill, or should I go with a 100lb and have it delivered?
Does it matter how the wires are put onto the switch? Can the be exchanged from one side to another?

Typically there is a reason for the rollout like a clogged hole in the burner assembly or a dirty heat exchanger.

Every 100k BTU will use a gallon of propane an hour big heater will use 3-4 gallons an hour.
Perhaps you should change the title of your video to be less generic. Some like “Raypak Roll Out Switch Error”
