Also check out Arm's Family Homestead and his wife Do your Best (also friends of Lester) they do a little bit of everything.
Both Cog Family and Arm's Family have this thing with little sections where you can do Herbs. (I can't think of what it's called) but it would be good for Paw Paw since there is minimal bending.

Good morning, Stephanie! Congratulations on beginning your new channel. I’m excited for you as you venture out with this endeavor. Ask Lester to direct you to the tier garden apparatus which Jason Smith at Cog Hill Farm and Daniel Arms of Arms Family Homestead have. Lester and Jami have one in their garden and you can grow various garden vegetables(lettuces, radishes, herbs and seasonings, strawberries, etc). I believe you can get it through Hoss tools. Good luck with your gardening and hobby channel.🙏🏻🥰🙋🏼‍♀️

You can buy your ground cover with the holes already burned from farmers friend. I rolled my ground cover out and burned the holes with a small propane tank torch. I didn’t like the wand with the hole burner on the end. Then I used a bulb planter to pull the plug of grass and soil out. Then I added amendments in the bottom of the hole, sprinkled soil on top and then planted my transplants. I also put my drip irrigation tape under the ground and lined the emitters up with the holes. I bought hoss tools fertilizer injector as well 😅

This is the description of it " This ultimate storage box includes 16 cases for even more space to organize, protect and store your photos and craft supplies. Perfect for protecting your family memories, this acid-free photo box will hold up to 1,600 of your photos in 16 cases. Each small case will holds up to 100 photos, and they can also be used for small craft items such as embellishments, stamp and stamp pads, stickers and more. Great for sorting photos or organizing your craft projects, the case features a snap-tight buckle to secure contents and a handle that allows for easy portability." Check it out. Cowboy Candy. I make and can it a lot. It is great on cream cheese and eaten with crackers. Also good on burgers. I usually only do 4 cups sugar.
    Ingredients
    • 3 lbs jalapeños sliced
    Syrup
    • 2 cups vinegar (can use apple cider or white)
    • 1 tsp garlic powder
    • 1 tsp cayenne
    • 1/2 tsp celery seed
    • 6 cups sugar
    • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
    • 1/2 tsp cumin
    Instructions
    • In a large pot, bring syrup ingredients to a boil. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
    • Add peppers to pot and simmer for 4 minutes.
    • Using a slotted spoon, scoop peppers into jars, leaving 1/4" headspace.
    • Pour syrup into jars, leaving 1/4" headspace. Fill empty jars with any leftover syrup you have, also leaving 1/4" headspace. Wipe rims of jars clean with a damp cloth and put on lids and bands (only finger tight - do not overtighten).
    • Place jars in prepared water bath canner filled with enough hot water to cover the jars by 2 inches. When the water reaches full rolling boil, start the timer. Water bath can half-pints for 10 minutes, or pint jars for 15 minutes.
    • Turn off heat and let sit for 5 minutes. Remove pot lid and carefully remove jars - set them on a towel on your kitchen counter. Let sit overnight or until completely cooled.

A soup my grandma taught me is called boiled dinner. Get your stock pot filled half ish way with water, cut up potatoes, carrots, ham (leftover from Christmas or Easter) and when all that starts to get fork tender cut up a head of cabbage and put ham stock soup base in to taste. It's delicious.

Steph I think you’ll enjoy having a large garden and trying out different veggies! I know you’ve had gardens before and if you haven’t done it companion planting of your garden makes your garden even easier and better use of the size garden you have , like planting peas with Carrots between them or greens with onions between them ! Also plant Marigolds all around in your garden , they deter insects and plant lavender plants around the outside of your garden it deters insects , some animals and attracts bees to pollinate your garden! It’s good you can your veggies and also freeze some that will be great videos and also working in your garden and harvesting and Preparing the veggies to can and the canning process ! There are many who would love to can but don’t know how to can or what they need to do it , they just need instruction and guidance ! Good luck with your page I know it’s gonna be successful with all you have to offer your viewers and Buddy’s videos are interesting and informative also ! I’ve enjoyed every video I’ve watched so far ! The important thing is to be consistent with putting out your videos because people tend to continue to watch if the videos keep coming but if they are hit and miss of when we see another video on that page it’s easier to just move on and not invest time getting attached to a page and never knowing when another video will come out! Your content if you cover what you’ve talked about will be varied and very interesting to me and I feel sure to many others! Best of luck, I can’t wait until your page really gets going regularly! God bless ❤️🙏🙋🏻

I also grow a really big garden every yr, but here where I’m at in Ky I def don’t have the temps like u guys do. So for our anniversary this past yr my husband got me a greenhouse, and also 4-5 huge totes of seeds. So I have enough to last me a lifetime and still pass them on, LoL. I don’t have a tractor however I do have a tiller. I just have so many dang rock tht I have to deal with. I can’t wait to get my seeds going before long, bc I also can our food. I can our fruits and vegetables, so I’m really looking forward to watching /learning things from u also. The one difference is I don’t eat our chickens and they do have names, 😂 I do gather our eggs tho, and I also hunt. Tht is how we have our freezers full of meats. Congrats once again, and maybe u would like to check out Migardener, I’ve purchased seeds from them also. 👍🙏

Stephanie,I am glad I found your page finally. I am slow to finding it but I finally did. I am looking forward to your garden information. You might try getting some green stalks. It is container gardening and Jason from Cog Hill uses them also. I look forward to anything you put out. I wish you a great day, God bless you always

Some seeds need a cold period before they get planted. Pawpaw's idea of putting them in the freezer is a good one. Best of luck on your channel and with your garden.
