      @kylesanders8242 - most CEOs are, and top level menagement in a lot of stock market corpos (including military contractors corporations).
      Nothing new about it, in fact the data is actually out there (with precentage numbers too).
      Also, in current world if you think about water... you may as well think about Nestle, and what they do with that (long term goals).
      The same with properties (industrial or private ones) - think Blackrock, Vanguard and so on, and what they do with property markets.
      And if you think about good image in the media for various corporations and CEOs, don't think about media as such - think Black Cube type of agencies and what they do for their various clients (rich CEOs, billionaires and so on).

    The Bolivian family at the beginning that lives next to the water treatment facility is heartbreaking. How is this possible in the 21st century? Have we really learned nothing?

    • @tannhauser5399
      @tannhauser5399 Рік тому

      @handydandy8184 - no, we haven't.
      Even Marcus Aurelius was vocal about it, or Cicero in his "The nature of Gods" (45BC). Human natrure. You cannot win with that (greed, competition and some primal instincts).
      Also: somebody said water? Nestle has entered the chat...

      I recommend that you learn more about passive index fund investing. Purchase the shares of a company that you believe has a lot of room yo develop. For my part, I engaged a stock specialist who gives entry and exit points on the security I'm interested in while I go about my other business. There is no one-ize-fits-all approach to investing; keep your eyes on the prize!! Mistakes are costly.

    Wow, I can't believe that. One summer we had water restrictions. Everyone was asked to conserve. You could not water your lawn. But.... I passed a golf course. They were watering during the middle of the day. I hear only 20% of that is absorbed. Then another one and so on. Water restrictions? Only for the ones not greasing city hall.

    I understand that commercialized reverse osmosis water purification is very energy expensive. However if you did a hole in the ground and pee in it, you can easily extract that water back out and clean with a simple solar still. Why can't something in between be done, where small scale evaporators, two hundred square foot basically tilted plastic with a drain into a plastic bucket, that can work 24/7 to fill water for drinking. NOT for industry. NOT to cool huge banks of computers. NOT to turn natural human waste into toxic waste, which is what we stupidly short sighted Americans do....

      seriously. Have you even watched the video carefully. The western part of India(Rajasthan) that was shown in the videos have hundreds of rain water harvesting plants, reservoirs. They even showed it in the video the farmer was saying that the reservoir is empty for many years now. Rajasthan is mostly a deserted area, it naturally receives less rainfall compared to other parts. ANd on top of that, companies like cocacola (backed by some idiot politicians ) are allowing them to tap on the underground water. THe motive of the video is to show why privatisation of a single most necessary thing - water could lead to horrible circumstances.
