NiziU got their first win on a Korean music show today, they made history as the first non-Korean group to win! And funnily enough, the girl (Ririka) on the right at 43:46 who got eliminated in this ep debuted in another kpop group, and she was there at that music show today and happily congratulated them :’)
Now that you are full-on emotionally invested in NiziU and know the girls' names, it would be interesting if you did a re-reaction to "Heartris" once all is said and done after the finale. I'm sure it will be a different experience (before & after) when you can put a name to a face and remember the stories of their journey and see how well they took to JYP's teachings and advice.
Updates for the eliminated: a bunch are now trainees in Japan and Korea; some like Ayame are models in Japan (and were before the show too) Some joined groups: Kyoka Taniya debuted in Give & Give (now disbanded). Ririka Kishida debuted in ILY:1. Some participated in other survival shows: Ririka Kishida and Miu Sakurai competed in Girls Planet 999 Funa Takaya competed in R U Next?, as a Belift Lab trainee. Miu Sakurai is currently in Produce 101 Japan The Girls, AND IS THE CENTER OF THEIR TITLE SONG!!! (so happy for her!).
Was gonna say! Miu was also HYBE’s trainee and was training with New Jeans girls. Miu has high chance of finally debuting and I’m not watching the program but I’m following and watching clips here and there. Miu grew so much and she is fierce! I LOVED Ririka from GP999. She also grew so much🥺🥺🥺 was so happy I saw Niziu and Ririka’s interaction yesterday. I’m glad Miu is finally getting attention.

That song perfectly fit Maya's voice. I didnt notice what JYP was saying about Riku but he'd know better than me. Last night, Ririka and NiziU met on the stage at Show Champion, and they were hugging each other!! I know that Funa did participate HYBE’s most recent survival show R U Next?(I didn’t watch the show), but she did not make it to the finals.
In the announcement of those moving on, Ayaka reminded me of Yuna in A2K. They both came in last of those going to Korea, stated they knew how much skill they lacked compared to the others, and that they'll work hard to make up for it. It's one of those parallels between the two shows that get my attention.

The difference is the performances in the official channel were cut, the latter shows the full performance, but official channel has more accurate translation compared to the other one
Actually i saw Miu Sakurai in Girls Planet 999 but suddenly she's eliminated but she's now in Produce 101 in Japan and she's gaining a lot of attention and she's one of the famous contestants and I think she will debut in the group that will be created by Produce 101 Japan❤❤❤

It's also seeing how much hard work and dedication they put into each performance that hits different. It's like reality shows are prep schools for the pressure of the kpop industry.

Thank you for thinking that I am actually not dumb... haha... I must say that when I saw coconut it was on my tablet while I was painting, so I only glanced at it here and there. Heartris on the other hand... yea I reacted to the video but tried to keep my mind from counting too much and trying not to focus on the faces that much. I have a basic idea who will be in the final group. But I am unsure about some. After counting the pictures up there I assume that it is nine members. I figured they were a lot and was either at 8 or 9.... There is no question that the lemon is Mako... but even without that Mako would have been my first choice.... the others that I definitely see in the group are Miihi Nina and Rima. I like Riku a lot and she seem sweet and fitting as a cute counterpart for Miihi. And after episode 9 I had to put Mayuka in my top choices because that is what JYP like to see in artists... the passion and the fight. As for the rest I can't really say much yet. They are still in that grey area which will definitely become clearer in the next episodes...
For the Miss G performance, Maya just killed it and I find myself continuing to follow her where ever she went during this performance. I thought Rima's rap was solid, not to bad. I really didn't notice Riku, so can't really comment on her performance. With Team TT, the adorable Miihi just stole the show for me, didn't really pay much attention to the others. Miihi, had never had to lead, so she was unsure about weather she'd be able to do it, but she used what the others had done for her and did a great job. Well we have 14 going to Korea, looks like a pretty good group. Should be fun, and I'm looking forward to the next part, with will be a fun ride fasten your seat belt!!!!!
