People are hearing "fast food" and automatically think that means you will get fat. If you need 2000-2500 calories a day and all you eat during the day is a Big Mac with fries, you have a net caloric deficit and will actually lose weight (not that the food is actually healthy). If you keep your calories in check, you will stay thin.

Well of course if you consume a set amount of calories and you burn all of them you will not gain weight, since there is nowhere for that weight to actually come from. That's thermodynamics. You can still get a number of health issues from a bad diet, but as far as I know this guy has a lot of healthy habits which probably mitigates the subpar nutritional value of the Big Mac.

A Big Mac a day honestly isn’t bad as long as you’re exercising regularly and eating plenty of other foods (fruits, veggies, etc)-the guy never said he just eats Big Macs or that he doesn’t exercise lol.
Too many people want to assume that I only eat macs except for Sunday. I eat lots of sandwiches at home a candy bar each evening. No breakfast at all. A couple of big macs everyday is low nutrition, 20g of saturated fat and 2g of transfat. Probably doubling your risk of heart disease. Not really worth the risks for a very average tasting burger.
There's nothing at all more wrong about eating a Big Mac everyday than most other things. Why people vilify burgers above everything else, I don't know.

Demitra K no calorie counting is pure bullshit. everyone has different digestive efficiency just becauce you eat 500 calories doesnt mean you will get 500 calories worth of energy. your poop contains much energy as well you will have to measure that to see what was not taken in. There are so many more factors involved counting calories is for the simple minded people it never works .
Confucius Say isn’t that why people try to find their metabolic rate? That way if they count calories they have a rough estimate of their caloric gain/deficit
Demitra K's comment is old but it anyone happens to come across their comment, it confirms the 3 year old original. Genetics are everything, he's either very very lucky and healthy or he's just a lying old man that's dying.

Well said. I eat a big Mac and three chicken selects every day and I love them and look forward to them. No fries. It's the restaurants that are serving the junk food and charging three times as much, and it's mostly cheap carbohydrate they serve, hardly any meat.
As someone who works at McDonald’s it’s kinda sad to see so many regulars who show up every day to hand over their money. It’s even crazier on pay days when they have some extra money to spend.
Tomato, lettuce and pickle contain vitamins, minerals and fibers. The bread contains complex carbohydrate. The cheese contains protein. And the meat has fat, protein and minerals. If you think about it, Big Mac is a complete food for a fast food meal.
The thing is a big mac isn't that bad when that's the only thing you eat, if you combine it with other junk food then it's unhealthy. He would probably have more energy if he ate healthy but big macs are making him happy so its a tuff one.
But they say his vitamins are off. But the only world scale deficiency is Vitimin D. And that's provided by the sun. We technically don't need much of a vitamin. Just enough to sustain us is fine
i mean he doesn’t go over it on the calories so his diet is fine. obviously could use some veggies and fruit but honestly if you think about it logically this isn’t that far off a normal diet. the sauce is a little sugary but otherwise it’s bread cheese meat and lettuce. if people were more educated on how diet actually works they would know this isn’t really all that bad other than missing out on some vitamins and minerals (that i’m sure he gets through vitamins)
Eh no thats not how it works. If your diet is bread, cheese, meat and lettuce than boy do I have news for you. He is missing the major vitamins and minerals. You cant supplement everything when your diet is dogshit.

Donald Gorske was the first thing that came to my mind when I heard this story.
I don't exercise but am active with golfing, fishing and on my feet 8 to 10 hours a day. Not too many veggies but I love fruit. And a Big Mac lol. Thanks for your comment.

Disavowed Exactly one burger isn’t going to kill you
yeah if you are like 3 big macs and that’s all you ate + working out, you’d be fine (probably)
A couple of big macs everyday is low nutrition, 20g of saturated fat and 2g of transfat. Probably doubling your risk of heart disease. Not really worth the risks for a very average tasting burger.
@Disavowed, found Ronald McDonald's account.
RWWF20 big macs are above average in my opinion
30 years of eating a Big Mac everyday for lunch yet he hasn’t had a single stroke in his life. This man deserves a reward
Because it’s only one burger he eats Healthy after this meal .
The thing is, a lot of people watching this video consume more salt and saturated fats than him everyday, and don't even realise it.
There's nothing at all more wrong about eating a Big Mac everyday than most other things. Why people vilify burgers above everything else, I don't know.
@@rwwf2036 Nothing wrong with saturated fat. Or salt really.
We consumed 5x the conventionally accepted safe limit with no issue.
Worst thing about the burger is the bun &/or sugar in the ketchup.
The problem today is oxidized omega-6/seed oil & sugar + additives/chemicals.
Because it’s one small burger, it’s not gonna cause any harm. You’re more likely to get a stroke from eating a massive steak everyday.

genetics >>>>>>>> everything else
Absoutely not true.
For 99% of people it's calories in vs calories out
Demitra K
no calorie counting is pure bullshit. everyone has different digestive efficiency just becauce you eat 500 calories doesnt mean you will get 500 calories worth of energy. your poop contains much energy as well you will have to measure that to see what was not taken in.

It's just bread, meat, salad and a little bit of sauce, how bad can it be. We all probably eat that indirectly every single day...
As long as he’s happy and maintains a good health, there’s nothing wrong
Well said. I eat a big Mac and three chicken selects every day and I love them and look forward to them. No fries. It's the restaurants that are serving the junk food and charging three times as much, and it's mostly cheap carbohydrate they serve, hardly any meat.

Tomato, lettuce and pickle contain vitamins, minerals and fibers. The bread contains complex carbohydrate. The cheese contains protein. And the meat has fat, protein and minerals.
If you think about it, Big Mac is a complete food for a fast food meal.
There's no tomatoes on a Big Mac, silly!
Good for him! If he's healthy, then that's all that matters.
The thing is a big mac isn't that bad when that's the only thing you eat, if you combine it with other junk food then it's unhealthy. He would probably have more energy if he ate healthy but big macs are making him happy so its a tuff one.
@@brandonlee7382 Oh for sure. I would never have that kind of diet. lol

i mean he doesn’t go over it on the calories so his diet is fine. obviously could use some veggies and fruit but honestly if you think about it logically this isn’t that far off a normal diet. the sauce is a little sugary but otherwise it’s bread cheese meat and lettuce. if people were more educated on how diet actually works they would know this isn’t really all that bad other than missing out on some vitamins and minerals (that i’m sure he gets through vitamins)
